Emma sighed, her patience wearing thin. “Desmond, we’re divorced. Whatever feelings I had for Alex
are in the past. Let’s just enjoy our lunch.”
Desmond wasn’t entirely convinced but decided to let the matter rest for the moment. Their lunch
