Chapter 446 Puzzle Pieces
Chapter 446 Puzzle Pieces
The sounds of water running was the first thing he noticed as he followed Jacob into the hot springs. It was a large room that looked exactly like one of those public hot springs Akio showed him.
"Wow, these exist here, too?" Lee Seng gasped. The hot spring was huge. There were washing stations to the left, even regular showers. This place felt more like a public space than a private one.
"You're just in time!" Winn wandered over naked. He stood in front of Jacob and Lee Seng without a care in the world. His eyes smiled at Lee Seng and Jacob as Jacob waved at Bright. "We were about to get in. Come, come! There's loads to do today."
"You can take your clothes off and set them there." Jacob pointed to the right side. "Then clean yourself on this side before you go in. The hot spring is infused with medicinal properties so it'll make you feel like new in no time."
Lee Seng did as he was told and took his bottom half of his clothes. He pulled the gauze off without much effort and threw it in the bin before washing himself off. Bright and Winn were the first ones in the hot spring.
Jacob joined them quickly while Lee Seng took his time cleaning himself. By the time he was finished, the brothers were mid-conversation about today's tasks.

"It's been awhile since I've been in a hot spring…" He quietly muttered. Jacob took a quick glance at him before looking at Bright and Winn, again.
"Father specifically requested it." Jacob replied. Winn groaned, lowering his face into the hot spring water. "We should do our part."
"But do we really need to help him?" Bright pointed at Lee Seng. "It sounds more like his problem than ours. That Fox left without a word. Probably knew what he was doing, too."
"All the more reason we should take Lee Seng to the site." Jacob folded his arms. They three brothers looked over at Lee Seng. He was quietly observing them and quickly felt the uncomfortableness radiate off of the three.
"Your father requested you three to assist me in finding my partner?" Lee Seng asked. "Why? It's my problem."
"All the more reason we should focus our efforts somewhere else, Jacob!" Winn pointed. Winn seemed the most against the idea of helping Lee Seng. Lee Seng ignored Winn's anger. "He almost got Philip killed!"
"But Lee Seng is the one who healed and removed the curse." Jacob reminded Winn.
"We should not lump people together by association. If we do that, Lily might as well be at fault."
"I'm not saying it like that! We know her! We don't know them!" Winn stood up.
"Winn." Bright grabbed his twin brother's wrist. "Enough."
"I thought you were pissed about this too! Why the sudden attitude switch?" Winn looked down at Bright.
"Because he is the one who saved Philip. We owe him that much. More because he removed a curse."
"We could've had anyone do what he did!" Winn lied. Lee Seng could definitely tell Winn didn't like him. He didn't want to accept the facts. Lee Seng let out a sigh and stood up.
"You don't need to help me." Lee Seng finally spoke up. Bright and Jacob liked him confused. "He's long gone."
"How would you know that?" Jacob asked. Winn turned around, slightly, keeping an eye on Lee Seng.
"I just know. I know you're just doing your jobs and you really don't know how to feel about me. To you, I just like the guy who almost got your brother killed." Lee Seng's eyes went to Bright and then to Jacob. "Don't help me if you don't want to. I have a feeling I know where he is."
"Then why are we even looking for him?" Bright sighed. "Where is he if you don't mind me asking?"
"I'll know for sure after I see the last place he was." Lee Seng climbed the stairs up and out of the hot spring and moved to dry himself off and put his shorts back on.
Lee Seng wrapped the towel around his neck, drying his hair with one hand as he stepped out into the backyard.
"Oh, you were in the hot spring?" Lily's groggy voice asked. Lee Seng turned and noticed a half asleep Lily rubbing her eyes as she shuffled around the corner.
"Yea." Lee Seng nodded. Lily's eyes opened and she stared at him for a minute. Lee Seng gave her a strange look as her eyes slowly went down.
"Wow, you're like my brothers." Lily complimented.
"What do you mean?" Lee Sneg glanced down and looked at his body. He wasn't anywhere close to what he used to be. He had less muscle definition than before. "I've lost some muscle since I've been sick."
"You still look pretty good." Lily gave him an innocent thumbs up. She smiled as the noises of her brothers caught her attention.
"Don't be too mean to him, Winn. He did save our brother." Jacob scolded. The three brothers stepped out and noticed Lee Seng was standing not too far from the door of the hot springs with Lily.
"Li, what're you doing out here?" Bright asked. "Need to shower?"
"Mmmhm. Are you guys done?" Lily asked.
"Yeah, go ahead." Jacob pointed. Lily nodded and looked at Lee Seng.
"Wait for me. I'll help you look for Keng." She smiled.
"Uh sure." Lee Seng nodded. "I was gonna ask you to help. Thanks."
"Sure." Lily nodded. Jacob, Bright and Winn's eyes twitched as they watched this conversation. "Well, I'll get going now. Moms make breakfast so eat, kay?"
"Sure, thanks." Lee Seng waved to Lily as she turned and moved towards the hot springs. Her brothers' eyes caught her attention and she gave them a weird look before forcing herself in between Jacob and Bright.
Lee Seng continued on his way, drying his hair as Bright, Winn and Jacob looked at each other.
"Did he just show himself to her like… like…" Winn stuttered.
"I knew he was trouble." Bright muttered.
"Come on, let's go." Jacob motioned.
Lee Seng changed into Keng's clothes. They fit perfectly on him. He dug through the bag to see what Keng had and it seemed like Keng was well prepared. Lee Seng pulled a smaller bag out and opened it.
'Plants?' Lee Seng thought as Jacob changed off to the side. He brought the bag closer and sniffed it. 'What was this used for?' He put the contents back in their place and closed the bag.
"Bow and arrows." Lee Seng whispered. "Really just up and left with nothing, huh?"
"He had a pair of daggers, too." Jacob spoke up.
"Did he?" Lee Seng turned. Jacob slipped on a tight shirt and nodded.
"He had two blue daggers strapped onto him all the time. They could create water off of it."
"Where did he get something like that?"
"He said it was a god weapon."
"A god weapon?"
"Never heard of them?" Jacob asked. Lee Seng shook his head. He was unfamiliar with it. He barely scratched the surface of Daros. "God weapons were created during the war that happened six hundred years ago. They were crude versions created by the other gods for war but as a sign of peace Asura forged perfect versions of the gods' weapons. The gods gave their weapons to the people of Daros if they were worthy."
"And Keng got one from who?" Lee Seng asked.
"Hydran, goddess of water. If I remember, she asked him to do her a favor."
"What favor?" Lee Seng watched as Jacob shut the closet and started over to the door.
"Some village near the sea. He's supposed to help some people there and he's supposed to bring Lily with." Jacob explained. "Come, let's go eat." Jacob opened the door and stepped out. Lee Seng stuttered and I was surprised as he followed after.
"What is he doing here then? Was he just… here the whole time?" Lee Seng inquired.
"No. He was here the day before yesterday. Came with Lily from the Saviors Tomb." Jacob answered. They entered the living room and Bright and Winn were sitting down. Jacob sat down as Lee Seng came to a stop.
"They came from the Tomb? You know why?" Lee Seng asked.
"So many questions." Winn shook his head. Lee Seng gave Winn a glare. Winn began to get up when Bright pulled his brother down. "He looked at me funny."
"Stop provoking him." Bright shook his head.
"Some kind of training?" Jacob shrugged. "Ask my sister when she's done." Jacob turned and motioned Lee Seng to sit with a pat next to him. "Come. Sit. You'll probably enjoy this meal since you're from Earth."
