Chapter 508 Tragic Lovers, Part 12

Chapter 508 Tragic Lovers, Part 12

Eleven pulled the sword out of Teresa and flicked the blood off of the tendril-like sword. Gravity took Teresa as she fell onto her knees. Blood gushed out of the wound as she tried to stop the bleeding. The tendril-like sword flew back into his skintight suit as he watched Teresa.

"Y-you… No…" Teresa muttered.

"That's the difference between you and I. You allowed yourself to feel her emotions." Eleven shook his head. "If you really wanted to become a full Deimon, you gotta destroy your host to bits." Eleven kicked Teresa, watching her fall to the ground. Eleven licked his tongue as he shook his head. With the problem gone, Eleven refocused his attention onto Lee Seng. The Fox wasn't moving and Eleven's grin was growing wider.

"All that brave talk for nothing." Eleven shook his head. He stopped next to the unmoving Fox. He pushed his foot onto the body and shook him. "You're nothing but a destroyed husk of nothing. I wonder how you even did it… What am I even saying? I don't care." Eleven used his foot to push Lee Seng onto his back. The Fox mask stayed glued on as Eleven squatted down.

SPLLRRRTZ!

[No…tice…]

"Now how do I do it…?" Eleven muttered.

"You… You monster! You killed… You killed the Boss!" A lackey shouted.

"Go away." Eleven blasted the lackey. The lackey went flying through the air as Eleven focused his attention onto Lee Seng. "I've been waiting for this moment. You're mine." Eleven's raised his hands, extending his fingers to full length as he pointed them down at Lee Seng.

[Notice: Adaptation has activated. Mutating body to give survival measures.]

Eleven shot his hand striaght for Lee Seng's heart. The broken and unconcious person in front of him would finally die and he would be set free. He wouldn't have to care about the Master's son's 'reputation,' he would only care for himself and becoming powerful. His nasty grin grew to its widest. It was only when Eleven's hand reached Lee Seng's chest, something strange happened.

[Adapting. Evolving. Growing.]

The mask shattered as Lee Seng's eyes opened. They were milky red and blue.

[Home has been activated.]

Lee Seng's spiritual body fizzled as it wrapped around Eleven. Eleven's hand plunged into the ground, completely missing Lee Seng. His body threw itself backwards, landing on the ground with a hard thud. Eleven grunted as entire body straightened out and froze in place.

'What's happening?!?' Eleven screamed. He felt… whole again. 'What the fuck did you do?!?'

[Quiet.]

"Who's that?" Eleven asked aloud. His eyes wildly looked around. There was no one around him.

[You are an anomaly. An anomaly not accepted by the Protocol. Quiet.]

Something plunged into Eleven. It wasn't physical. It came from within. The plunge pulled him from his spot and into the Soul world. It was different from what he remembered. It wasn't black and white with flickers of colors. The place was oozing with many colors and his sight seemed… darker.

"Anomaly D11 has been found." A machine voice spoke. A ball of light appeared in front of him, swirling into a shape of a humanoid body. The light pointed at Eleven. "Auto features enabled. I will choose the bait. You." Black tendrils fired out from the colorful darkness wrapping itself around Eleven.

"What the fuck are you doing to me?!? Do you know who I am?!?" Eleven shouted. The Light floated closer revealing parts of itself to Eleven. It looked like a small lanky boy, maybe pre-teen. It had short hair and its body was completely covered in light. Eleven continued to curse at the Light as it grabbed Eleven's face and lifted it with ease.

"Scanning for any mutation possibilities within bait." The Light spoke. IT sounded robotic. It didn't sound human at all to Eleven as he tried to shake it off. It's grip was monstrous.

Ping!

"Mutation possibilities collected. Combination of Fox Spirit and Gravity abilities will be used to attain [Cosmos]." The Light spoke aloud. The world around them seemed to pulse as if it was acknowledging what the Light said. The Light released Eleven's face and turned.,

"What do you mean by that?!? You're giving him my own powers?!? Ha! Like I'd let you—" Eleven felt a sharp pain in his stomach. It shot out, diagonally, shooting out of his back.

"I cannot kill Anomaly D11." The Light spoke as a matter of fact. "Notice: You will have to inflict the final blow on Anomaly D11. I cannot help you with this, Lee Seng Chang. Let us continue with the Mutation." The Light snapped its fingers and it exploded into darkness. The dark colors swirled around the world as Eleven was forced under.

"No! No! Not back there! I worked so hard to get up he—"

Lee Seng woke up with a gasp. He wildly looked around. A crowd was twenty or thirty feet away from him. A few stragglers were around him, not paying attention to the "dead." His heavy breaths covered the noise of the crowd around their dead leader. He checked his wounds and noticed he wasn't wearing the clothes he had on.

'Am I…?' Lee Seng pinched himself.

"Ow." Lee Seng let out. Members of the crowd and the few stragglers around him turned to look at him. Some pulled out of the crowd and angrily marched towards him. They pulled their weapons out and began to shout at him.

"What did you do, Deimon?!?"

"Why did you kill your ally?!?"

"You'll die for this?!?"

'What's happening?' Lee Seng asked, scrambling away from the forming mob.

[Notice: To ensure your survivability, I activated Mutation and Home. You've been fused back into your body and the Deimon has been caged. You've gained quite a few new tricks. Most importantly, your Gravity ability has been upgraded to Cosmos through the combination of Fox Spirit and Biohuman abilities.]

"Hey!" A lackey pulled Lee Seng up into the air. Lee Seng gasped, snapping out of thought as he realized the man had easily picked him up. "Are you ignoring us?!? What did you fucking do?!?" The pendant dropped from his hand, drawing their attention.

"What the fuck is that?" Another lackey asked.

"Is it dangerous?"

"Grab it!" The lackey holding Lee Seng up commanded. "It might be his getaway!"

"N…" Lee Seng began to say when the other lackey snatched it up. He studied it, noticing a small button. He opened it and studied the picture.

"This… This is a picture of the Boss." Lackey 2 informed everyone.

"Why do you have something of Boss's?!?" Lackey 1 shouted. He shook Lee Seng as Lee Seng involuntarily shook his head back and forth. "Answer me!"

"Well, one, I'm not a Deimon." Lee Seng corrected them.

"What? Master allowed a nobody in!?! What is this?!?" The crowd shouted.

"Kill him!" Someone from the crowd shouted.

"I—" Lee Seng slammed against the ground as feet flew at him. They kicked him, forcing him to scrunch himself into a fetal position.

"You killed our boss!"

"Die!"

Lee Seng grunted as the kicks rattled him around. He could feel himself bruising but… It didn't hurt that much.

'What got mutated exactly, AI?' Lee Seng asked.

[Your physical attributes and Gravity. Nothing else was successfully mutated.]

'Why was… Gravity mutated?'

[Answer: Anomaly D11, er, the Deimon had a mutation strand of Gravity. It allows you to manipulate the cosmos and space around you. Reference: Meteor Rush.]

Lee Seng nodded in his head as he continued to get kicked around.

'I dealt with one problem but another rose up because of it… Did I fail?' Lee Seng thought. He shook his head and a blast of gold, black, and silver energy wrapped around the crowd. It held them in their places as Lee Seng lifted off the ground, onto his feet.

"Pendant." Lee Seng flicked his fingers. The pendant ripped out of the Lackey's hands and flew into his. He motioned with his index fingers for the crowd to split and watched as the colorful energy split them. Onlookers pointed their weapons and abilities at him.

"Don't move." An onlooker ordered him. Lee Seng let out a sigh as he took a step forward. A flaming arrow shot at him, landing in front of him. "Or you'll die."

"I don't have time for this…" Lee Seng muttered. He let out a sigh and snapped his fingers. A blast of energy sent everyone around him into the air. He quickly flipped his hand to point at the ground and everyone became suspended in the air.

"I'm not the Deimon." Lee Seng told them. He moved his right hand across his face and a Fox mask grew.

"Prisoner?!?" People shouted. "How?!?" Lee Seng didn't answer and walked up to the dead body of Teresa. She laid with a cloth over her. Lee Seng knelt down and let out a sigh. He dangled the pendant over her and set it on her. "I'm sorry I couldn't give this to you sooner. You were looking for it, right? Your husband asked for you to have this. Everything I was going to say is out the window now that you're… Dead, but go to him. You're free."

[Notice: Deimon Soul has been collected. You have leveled up!]
