Chapter 911 Savior Home

?

Lee Seng popped out of the barrier, fully exposing himself as he swung Sun blade. He watched as purple energy ripped out of his blade, flying straight for Virgil. Keng grunted and pushed the energy out of the dagger, aiming straight for Cesar. The two lit up in smoke as parts of the walls began to crumble.

"Argh… this is annoying." Cesar sighed. The smoke pulled inwards, revealing a perfectly unharmed Cesar. He shimmered with white-purple energy, lowering his hand. "I didn't want to reveal this, but I guess it's too late. Listen here, vulpe. I don't got time for your antics." Cesar's body glimmered, releasing cold ice as his skin turned pale white. Two large ice horns grew out of his forehead, curving upwards and eventually curving along the top of his head until it reached the back of his neck.

The wall shook as the cold Deimon glanced at Keng. A blast of cold ice immediately surrounded Keng, encasing him in ice while Virgil gasped. The ground and buildings around Virgil had been badly damaged by Lee Seng's copy spell. Blood splattered across the floor as Virgil's hands shook. Purple-red energy oozed out of Virgil as he laughed.

"I guess I'll have to get serious now." Virgil weakly laughed. Purple-red energy swirled into a vortex, encasing Virgil within it. Cesar whipped his sword out, slashing the air. Ice flew straight for Lee Seng as Virgil broke through the purple-red energy. Virgil's horns protruded out of his head, growing past his head. They were red and black in nature, corrupting most of the gunner's form.

Lee Seng turned and blasted the attack from Cesar, encasing him in snow dust while Virgil raised his upgraded pistols and fired out four large beams of fiery energy. The energy connected with the snow dust, immediately lighting it on fire and revealing Lee Seng in a barrier.

"That won't work on me!" Cesar jumped into the air, slashing the air. Lee Seng's chest shimmered, releasing Keng from within. Keng flew out of the barrier, meeting Cesar's attack head-on with a grin. Keng swung a dagger downwards, breaking the attack into another snow dust cloud. He continued forward swinging, Hydrosphere at Cesar, who quickly blocked the attack.

Keng connected with Cesar, who immediately phased and watched Keng fly through him. Ice exploded around Keng, trapping him in ice. Cesar moved straight for Lee Seng who was being barraged by attacks from Virgil. Lee Seng met each attack with a block or a gravity blast.

Cesar swung his icy blade at Lee Seng, connecting with him and sending him flying away from them. Keng exploded out of the ice, devouring the cold energy.

"A bit cold for my liking, but who am I to complain about energy?" Keng wiped his mouth. Virgil glanced at Keng and Cesar before looking over to where Lee Seng was.

'I can get to the Creator's son before he can. He can't move that fast if he's in the air.' Virgil darted for Lee Seng, catching Cesar's attention.

"No you don't!" Cesar released another icy slash; this time targeting Virgil. Virgil turned and raised his gun, shooting at it.

"That's not gonna work!" Virgil shouted as another snow cloud exploded. Cesar cursed as he started to descend, only to be sent crashing into the earth below. The pressure grew stronger as Cesar tried to phase from it.

'Why… isn't it… working?' Cesar thought. 'He couldn't have figured out a way to hit me that easily, could he?' Keng's eyes tracked Virgil, blasting him with celestial fire. The celestial dragon's blessing had merged with Cosmic Being giving the twins way more power than Keng ever thought they could have.

The celestial flames missed as Virgil picked up speed. Virgil turned and shot at Keng, watching the bullets fly. Keng dodged and weaved, letting most of the bullets fly past him. Keng absorbed one of the shots, forming a rune on his arm.

'Runeweaver has certainly gotten better… Now… If only I could help Lee Seng more.' Keng's eyes flicked between Cesar and Virgil. Cesar's energy fluctuated as he struggled to break out of Keng's hold.

Virgil turned his attention towards Lee Seng, unloading on him. A barrier flew up, blocking a couple shots before shattering. Lee Seng scurried onto his feet, running deeper into the crumbling building.

"You think running will do you any well?" Virgil shouted. He chased Lee Seng into the crumbling building, looking left and right for the Creator's son. "Where did you go?" Rocks fell, immediately drawing Virgil to it with a gunshot. Lee Seng chuckled, drawing Virgil deeper into the building.

Virgil slowly scanned his surroundings. Virgil's eyes slowly shifted, scanning for energy around.

"Where are you?" Virgil asked in a sing-song tone. "Come out, come out wherever you are." He slowly crept to the center of the room where a darkened path appeared to his left and right. The building had half-crumbled on the right side, making it easy for Virgil to assume Lee Seng couldn't have squeezed into the debris. "Are you over here?" Virgil turned left and crept forward.

Lee Seng hung in the darkness. He had hidden himself from Virgil's eyes. If Virgil wanted to play a hiding game, Lee Seng would entertain the Deimon. After all, closed spaces worked better in Lee Seng's favor.

Lee Sen tightened his grip on the dimmed Sun blade. The blade had shifted from day to night, seemingly mimicking the moon with its silver and white colors. He listened as Virgil slowly moved forward, pointing his gun in front of him and lighting the way.

"If you think scaring me will do the trick, you're wrong." Virgil smiled. "You've trapped yourself, little vulpe, and I'm going to return with a new fursuit." Celestial energy poured in the blade as Lee Seng dashed forward. Virgil readjusted his aim, following Lee Seng as he let out a couple shots. Lee Seng landed on the side wall, watching Virgil smile.

"Gravitum: Piercing Flash and Dash." Lee Seng disappeared as soon as Virgil pulled the trigger. Lee Seng slashed at Virgil, carving star fire onto him as Virgil whipped around, missing Lee Seng entirely. Lee Seng bounced all around Virgil, dizzying the Deimon as he tried to keep up.

Virgil fired random shots, missing and destroying the building. Lee Seng tore through Virgil's hardened skin, carving attack after attack into him. Virgil growled, purple-red energy exploded, pushing Lee Seng into a wall. The building began to crumble, drawing Virgil and Lee Seng's eyes upwards.

Virgil pointed his gun at Lee Seng, shooting at him. Lee Seng squeezed his eyes shut, reappearing inside the Soul Home.

"Holy crap." Lee Seng gasped. "I thought I died!" Lee Seng sat up, noticing he was sitting in a living room. He turned and glanced at the sofa. "Is this really a house?" A silver light drew Lee Seng's eyes over to a bookshelf. "What's that?" He stood up and walked over to the bookshelf. Lee Seng could see Keng floating in the sky. Keng looked up, noticing something.

Lee Seng reached for the orb, immediately being pulled.

"Whoa!" Lee Seng shouted as he reappeared next to Keng.

"Watch out!" Keng threw up a shield, immediately shattering and blasting straight towards the ground.

"At last!" Cesar chuckled, rising from his spot. He rolled his neck before turning his attention to the twins. Cesar brandished his sword and ran forward. Cesar's head rang, immediately turning him and slashing a bullet.

"They're mine!" Virgil shouted. He shot another bullet at Cesar, who retaliated with a strike of his own.

"You okay?" Lee Seng asked Keng as they both pushed themselves up onto their feet.

"Fine. I think the ice Deimon can't do anything with gravity." Keng replied. "I was just holding him down the whole time. I heard a loud noise and then the other one came out. What do we do about them?"

"Well… they seem to hate each other… so we should use that to our advantage."

"Good to know we're on the same page. How do we do that?" Lee Seng looked at Keng. Keng stared at Lee Seng with a blank face, shrugging.

"Get out of my way, you stupid gunner!" Cesar shouted. Cesar swung for Virgil's hand, missing it. Virgil landed backwards, shooting the ground at Cesar.

'I'll use a Gate to turn the tide. You go in for the kill if you can.' Lee Seng told Keng. Keng nodded. 'Gate IX: Open.' Lee Seng's arms began to burn as light particles began to soak into him. 'This is how she feels.' Lee Seng lifted his hand up. 'Now… I think she said it was imagination…?'

A light blade formed in Lee Seng's hand and a smile grew on his face. He threw the light blade at Cesar, watching Cesar turn and deflect the blade. The blade shattered into light, blinding him.

"Now!" Lee Seng shouted.

"Gravitum: Piercing Flash!" Keng flew forward, swinging Hydrosphere straight for Cesar's neck. Ice exploded out of Cesar's body, plunging icicles into Keng's body.
