“Where did you find him?” Jing Yichen didn’t seem so eager to start the interrogation. Instead, he was more interested to know where Black Wind had been hiding during the past half year.
Zheng Jing replied instantly, “In a private villa of your Old Lady, No.7 Garden Villa.”
Jing Yichen frowned slightly. No wonder they had failed to find Black Wind. He had been brought back to Family Jing by Jing Yiran!!
No.7 Garden Villa was Mo Lan’s private property, a present received at her engagement with Jing Tianyuan years back. It was very close to Family Jing’s villas and a safe place. The Old Lady often invited ladies from political and business field for gathering there and some important banquets of Family Jing were also held there. There wouldn’t have been any problem if Jing Yiran walked in and out of that place. That was why Jing Yichen didn’t pay attention to that spot.
Jing Yiran was extremely bold to have hidden Black Wind right beneath his eyes. This dangerous man had been hidden nowhere other than at a place close to the Old Lady!
The most dangerous place was the safest place. Maybe Jing Yiran was gradually taking over many properties of Family Jing.
He looked frivolous and nonchalant, but, he had been eyeing the inheritance of the Family for a long time and had made many preparations for that.
He wanted to change his identity and to control the entire family.
Jing Yichen put away Jing Yiran’s matters aside for the moment and asked Zheng Jing and Mu Qing to start the interrogation.
However, an hour had passed and the interrogation of Black Wind was not going smoothly.
The people involved were all skilled at interrogation, especially Zheng Jing who was a professional armed policeman and had a rich experience with interrogation. With extra help from Mu Qing as the doctor, the result should have been achieved quickly.
But it seemed that Black Wind had been specially trained. He simply refused to say anything.
Jing Yichen observed him for a while and ignored the bloody and cruel interrogation. Instead, he said to Tiger calmly, “Bring Shangguan Rouxue from Family Yang here!”
Everyone was surprised to notice that Black Wind, who had been totally silent towards any sort of cruel punishment, shivered slightly when he heard Jing Yichen’s words.
Half an hour later, an unconscious Shangguan Rouxue was carried in by Tiger – he had wanted to drag in the woman but Jing Yichen had stressed that Shangguan Rouxue’s child must be kept safe, so he had to get her here with a slightly gentler method.
Black Wind, who was on the verge of dying, said the first words after he was caught, when he saw Shangguan Rouxue. “Let her go, I will tell you everything.”
Jing Yichen had been tricked by Black Wind once, and hence didn’t trust him.
He said coldly, “Tiger, wake her up with water.”
Tiger nodded and poured a bucket of cold water on Shangguan Rouxue, immediately.
Shangguan Rouxue woke up with a jerk. She almost passed out when she saw where she was and who all were there.
Mu Qing quickly put two silver needles somewhere upon the back of her head and Shangguan Rouxue screamed in pain but she didn’t faint, even after trying for it.
Black Wind bellowed instantly, “Leave her alone. I did everything. She had nothing to do with it. I will tell you anything you want to know.”
Mu Qing and Zheng Jing exchanged a look of surprise. Apparently, they had never expected that this woman was Black Wind’s weakness.
Shangguan Rouxue had no idea how she got here, but she was a smart woman. The moment she saw Black Wind who had been missing for half a year, she understood clearly why Jing Yichen had got her here.
She ignored Black Wind’s life threatening situation and screamed. “Yes, yes, he did everything. It has nothing to do with me. Master Jing, you have misunderstood me. I have done nothing, please let me go.”
Jing Yichen frowned in disgust. His long-term follower Tiger naturally understood what he was disgusted about, so he gagged Shangguan Rouxue immediately.
Shangguan Rouxue’s face paled in fright. She whined in fear.
“Speak now! The more you speak, the less pain she would need to suffer, or she will die with you right here today. Tell us everything, and she won’t need to die and can go back to being Mrs. Xie.”
Black Wind’s psychological defending line was broken. The interrogation suddenly became very easy.
He confessed to everything which Shangguan Rouxue and Yang Wenshu had asked him to do, which frightened and astonished Mu Qing and Zheng Jing.
The mother and daughter were so cruel. Shangguan Ning must have been very lucky to still be alive today. There wasn’t any other explanation.
Finally, Jing Yichen asked in a distant and cold tone, “How did Huang Liyu die?”
Black Wind stayed silent for a moment and then spoke in a hoarse voice, “Yang Wenshu and I caused her death. It has nothing to do with Shangguan Rouxue. She was only ten years old back then and knew nothing.”
“Yang Wenshu wanted to marry Shangguan Zheng, but Shangguan Zheng didn’t want to divorce Huang Liyu. He said that till Huang Lihu was alive, he would never marry her. So Yang Wenshu came to me and made me force Huang Liyu to die. Huang Liyu didn’t agree initially, because she loved her daughter and her husband way too deeply. She only agreed to divorce Shangguan Zheng and allowed Yang Wenshu to marry him and asked me to spare her life. Yang Wenshu was worried that she wouldn’t have a proper position in Shangguan Zheng’s heart, so she didn’t want Huang Liyu to live.”
“In order to keep herself safe from being blamed for the death of Huang Liyu, Yang Wenshu and I threatened her with Huang Liyu’s daughter Shangguan Ning. We told her that if she didn’t kill herself, I would kill Shangguan Ning. That was why she chose to kill herself. Also, Yang Wenshu wanted to create a terrible impression in Shangguan Ning’s heart, so she demanded that Huang Liyu should die in front of her own daughter, or she would sell Shangguan Ning to human traffickers after her mother’s death.”
“Huang Liyu’s death was confirmed as suicide by the police, because they couldn’t find any other evidence to prove that she was killed. Shangguan Zheng felt that Huang Liyu killed herself out of a non plausible reason, but he was scared that her death would ruin his position as an officer, so he turned a blind eye to it and left that matter alone.”
“Later, Yang Wenshu thought that Shangguan Ning was very annoying, so she tried to drug her with sub- chronic poison. But Shangguan Ning had a habit of keeping stray cats and dogs with her and she would share her food with the animals. As a result, hardly any of that poison got into her. But those animals died one after another because of the poison. Shangguan Ning didn’t understand the reason for it because she was too young, but she told her uncle Huang Lihan many times about that tearfully. Huang Lihan must have found it strange, so he took her away from Family Shangguan and kept her by his side for a long time.”
