Blood Titan System

Chapter 122 X-Ray Vision And Thermal Sight

Chapter 122 X-Ray Vision And Thermal Sight

Lightning contain some form of paralyzing agent which immediately stunned Ferge, making him unable to respond for a short period of time.

Ferge managed to take advantage of the force as he was about to hit the ground at the same time, Erian's fist closed in on him and one could even see the reflection of Erian's enormous figure in his eyes.

He had the absolute upper hand previously, how come he was the one receiving the brunt kf yhe attack. Just thinking about his made Ferge's eyes glow in absolute fury.

Suddenly, the atmosphere around him seem to freeze, turning cold as popping sounds echoed insistently in mid-air.

"Crackle!!!"

An orb of golden lightning started developing in space, bathing Ferge with its glow as it expanded rapidly with each passing milisecount forming a large web of lightning that floated in mid air releasing rouge bolts of lightning to the ground.

The web of lightning burst apart with a rip and a 12 meters tall Armoured Titan tore out of it like a shooting ball, "Skreee!"

Two short-lived screeching sounds ripped through the fabric of space and instantly collided.

Like two mountains traveling at the speed of sound colliding, a rumbling sound that carried along for miles resounded as an explosion that shook the buildings within five miles blasted apart everything near sight.

"KABOOM!!!"

The shockwave expanded and rippled like the orbit of a planet, destroying everything within its part like a spinning blade, slicing the ground like a hot knife to chess, creating a deep ravine whose depth couldn't fathom.

It was as though a nuclear warhead had landed right at the middle as a blinding yellowish orb of combustible and destructive energy expanded rapidly, covering this entire region. Suddenly, it's range of coverage weakened and when it could no longer hold in, it erupted!

A mighty mushroom of nuclear radiation, dust, and combustible energy rose into the sky, clearing the clear clouds and dying the skies red! Like the explosion of a volcano.

A massive shockwave along with extremely toxic radiation spread through the air like a tsunami as a fiery wildfire overwhelmed the environment. titans who were passing close to the zone were caught offhuard as the shockwave slammed into them, blasting a few of them into nearby buildings while some who had enough strength withstood the raging shockwave.

The ground disintegrated as an earthquake shook the entire forbidden ground, spreading cracks like spiderwebs that moved along the large building of the Skydome City!

It took a while, but the mushroom cloud of dust dispersed and the dust finally settled, finally giving out the out look of this street, it was a mess. Like a cataclysmic event had struck this pat of the city. There wasn't even a single building within aile radius that was intact, they had all been reduced to nothing more than ashes and dust.

The Armoured Titan drew two large ravines on the ground with its legs, canceling the resultant force rampaging within his body.

The defining feature of the Armored Titan was the all-encompassing layer of plated, armor-like segments of hardened skin protecting the Titan body. This armor wasn't developed by the use of tactics but was Ferge's first Supergene!

It was capable of shielding him from significant amounts of damage, shielding direct hit from a cannon, breaking ultrahard steel blades of Anti-healing Sword when struck and withstanding the Colossus Titan's explosive transformation[6]. However, the armor had some limitations and was not capable of protecting the user from high-power weaponry such as the Federal Allied Forces' anti-Titan artillery. The armor could be used for physical protection as well as offensively, dealing great damage upon impact on anything the Titan charges.

While certainly formidable, the primary disadvantage of the Armored Titan's skin was the decreased speed of the Titan form. Whether due to increased weight or restrained movement, the Armored Titan was only capable of maintaining moderate running speeds when completely armored.

This could be alleviated if the user chose to shed segments of the armor to increase movement capability, such as the armor behind the knees, enabling the Titan to move with incredible speed.[9]

A lesser-known disadvantage was that if the user wished, they were able to cause the hardened skin to crumble away to nothing; shooting the shards towards enemies like a hidden blade. But this could only be used as a last resort.

Ferge gazed around with a manaic expression on his face. Somehow, Erian had vanished during the aftermath collision, increasing Ferge's anger by another fold. His eyes suddenly seem to glaze over by a shade of orange as he used his three mains waves to activate thermal sight.

He immediately canceled it. The heat in the atmosphere was strangely more intense than it supposed to be, which disrupted his scan, all he could see was the high temperature of moving air and sand.

His eyes gazed down at his arm. A few of the hardened armor covering his skin had burst apart from the force and his arm shook slightly. His face was extremely solemn as his brain worked.

To make the arm of a Dual-Supergene numb, it means Erian's fist strike had surpassed even that of a Single-Supergene and had entered the realm of a double-gene. It was unprecedented as Erian's hadn't even grafted any super-cell into his body therefore, he shouldn't have stood a chance against him.

If he knew Erian still didn't go all out during their attack, it was unknown if Ferge would be livid emough to vomit blood out of anger.

* * *

Running for twenty minutes straight, Erian finally stopped when he reached location he deemed safe. Although a Colossal snake resided inside the large building, Erian tore it apart a few in his titan form. He finally settled down, and thought about his fight with the elites and the second year student. He could have easily handled the elites after merging with the Symbiote but even then, who is to say for sure they didn't have some similar trumpcard.

Moreover, he didn't want to use the symbiote yet as he hadn't tested its full potential and didn't want to reveal it to anyone yet.

Erian observed the building and then pursed his lips in thought. This building seem even more luxurious than the hotel he stayed in previously!

"Is this the house of one of the wealthy family in this city?" He muttered a question while scanning the entire budilung with his eyes. His enormous body shook as he vibrated both beta and alpha rays in a particular frequency. His pupils suddenly widened, covering every corner of his eyes as they looked like they glazed were over by a shade of grey matter.

All of a sudden, Erian's vision changed. The surrounding walls were instantly stripped off their color and visibility as they immediately turned see through. This wasn't the first time Erian successfully used this ability and he had thought he wouldn't be successful, but it actually worked this time!

Elated, he smiled brightly as he stared at the now see-through building. He immediately noticed a location where his x-ray vision couldn't see. Almost at the same time, two popping sounds echoed along with the spurting of blood and bodily fluids in the air. His eyes had exploded.

Sure enough, he still failed. "I lasted five seconds this time." Erian grinned brilliantly, the cells in his eyes rapidly generating new tissues and not a even five minutes later, both of his eyes were fully healed. He morphed back into his human form.

Erian cerebrated over his conversation with Keira. Her idea for them to cooperate was actually very enticing. Her plans to raid the treasures of the rich folks was even more enticing to Erian who really needs nuclear energy to boost his strength. With the connections of her family, she has all of the information about the various wealthy families within the city including the mayor's mansion and the council members houses. But those are off limit since the second year and third year would fight for it, definitely not let it be taken from them.

But in this type of academy, one couldn't be overly too careful which was why he told her he would think about it.

She is obviously from a well off family since she her family could help with such information over this little bit of time that had trespassed. If Erian wished to obtain such information, he would need to buy the information from the academy for an astronomical amount of price; a million blood points, something Erian lacked at this point.

Autonomously clicking his fingers to the arm rest, he stopped deliberating and typed a message.

[Erian: Undeniably a beneficial suggestion. How do we share the loot?]

Soon, Erian's phone vibrated as a message notification popped up.

[Kiera: I'm glad I get to work with the Prime. No need to share loot, if you grab it first, you own it. With your strength we this should be easy, happy cooperation.]
