Chapter 76 Bullying Is Wrong! (1)

POW!

Skullius flew across the room after receiving the punch of his discount life!

He didnt even see how he had flown out and blasted into the solid wall!

Only a rippling feeling as he dug into the wall confirmed that he had just gotten the shit beaten out of him!

On top of him being unable to resist the tremendous forces of power that tangled within this room, he was getting knocked around like a fool.

The burly man who had been so kind to him at first was now donning a fierce expression as he glared at Skullius. He had been the first to throw a punch at the Discount Human and when he saw the weak man he had knocked away was trying to rise from ground stubbornly, he was surprised.

“Hmm? You’re still alive after that? The one who came before you was already half dead after a single attack! You seem more capable but you’re too stubborn and foolish to realise a point of mutual interest!” the burly man barked in rage.

He really wished that he had the authority to force this idiot to do his bidding but the harmony of [Evil Darkness] and [Just Light] restrained him.

Skullius rose, watching the groups close in on him and his previous attempt at maintaining his composure was immediately broken.

‘Okay… this is reaaallly bad! This is the worst situation I’ve been in so far! There’s too many of them and my skills probably won’t do any damage. They are not bound like the others!’ Skullius’ mind churned frustration after frustration as he tried to figure out how to escape from this predicament.

There had to be a way, right?

As he expected a dramatic procession before he was beaten to death-ish, a foot pounded against his shoulder making him drop to the ground again, a deep crater boring itself on the floor under Skullius’ feet!.

Skullius coughed, a red substance coming from his mouth!

The substance released a fizzy sound as it splashed onto the ground, white bubble-like froth vaguely seen!

However, Skullius didn’t have the luxury to check out that his blood wasn’t really blood as before he could fully comprehend the level of damage the previous attack would have caused, another horrendous attack blasted against him from a distance!

A torrent of flames like a tornado blasted against the furniture and ceiling, leaving molten and charred objects in its wake as it mercilessly tried to roast Skullius alive!

For a few moments, Skullius disappeared under the brilliant eminence of the flame, the heat burning up everything that was combustible in the hall!

As the fire down died down, an old man who donned an expensive-looking red robe smirked as he saw the destruction that he had caused.

“Heh! Pathetic. Youngsters from the generation of the outside world must have grown ten times more foolish. Pride and arrogance is all I see from this filth,” he said.

“Indeed,” a curvaceous woman at the side with long, leather black hair that brushed against her short and dark, revealing dress spoke. “Perhaps we should have tried appealing to his lustful desires this time.”

The smoke cleared as the hundreds in the room began to dismiss Skullius. But…

“You socketholes are crazy!”

A voice boomed from the disappearing smoke, the figure of young man who donned a broken golden red armour appeared!

A magnificent looking helmet was perched on his head, bearing two crimson wings on either side, glittering with spots of mana, a looped star-shaped visor that faintly glowed with a blue hue from the outside and a beautiful gem that stuck to the forehead.

Skullius had, in the heat of the moment (no pun intended), remembered that this armour could store things like he had seen with the rings that  Benzard and friends had.

Donning the helmet had helped him, blocking against most of the damage that he felt even on spots that didn’t have the coverage of the armour!

‘My luck still wants me to live!’ Skullius was touched. Perhaps the streak of bad events that spontaneously occurred from time to time would finally cease.

“He’s still alive?!” the old man growled as his body surged with a thicker ooze of mana!

The aged and powerful creatures in the hall were truly shocked by this development!

This person was really weak and yet he had survived such a devastating attack?

“How can this be?”

“Does he have some kind of special quality?”

“It’s probably that armour!”

The many people within the hall made many inferences as they boomed.

Skullius knew full well how extravagant the presence of the armour could be, especially when he considered that it had so much mana packed into it.

It was actually a surprise for him that these socketholes hadn’t noticed.

Perhaps it was because they were all releasing their ridiculous levels of mana at once in an effort to let loose and intimidate him, which drowned out the armour’s mana signature?

“You think you will survive any longer than this? Think again!” the old man with a robe waved his hand, prompting for a large influx of mana to emerge, forming something grand. “I’ll show you what kind of magic a frustrated old man can pull out!”

A massive double wheel appeared right before the old man!

It had 14 segments that each held a different coloured sigil within them that burned with an ethereal light!

Skullius felt the atmosphere change the moment this magical construct appeared.

The old man’s eyes glowed with a frightening transcendence as he went on to speak.

“Deconstruct.”

HUM!

One of the sigils on the wheel produced a deep hum as it shone brightly and then something phenomenal happened to Skullius!

Thick red chains appeared from thin air as they began to wrap around his body. Small white runes could be seen over the surfaces of the chains, the long clanking objects going to restrain Skullius while he was in his armour.

However, this wasn’t the end.

The chains started to sink into Skullius’ flesh as if they were assimilating into him!

They also dug into the armour, moving along its steel body as if it was a liquid instead!

Skullius felt something go wrong within him immediately.

Something important within him began to unravel, unable to handle the chains that he could feel roaming within his body and brushing against his core!

It was then that Skullius saw a few disturbing notifications!
