Michael Reyes entered a small, quiet room just off the main hall, guided by John Carter and his security team. The hustle and bustle of the Nobel Prize ceremony faded behind him as he took a seat in front of a camera and a simple backdrop. The lighting was soft, providing a warm glow that would be perfect for the interview.

A Filipina reporter named Jessica greeted him with a friendly smile, her microphone in hand.

"Good evening, Mr. Reyes," she said, extending her hand for a handshake. "I'm Jessica from GMA News. It's a pleasure to meet you."

"Likewise," Michael replied, shaking her hand. He was used to interviews, but this one felt a little different, considering the significance of the event and the Filipino audience it would reach.

Jessica settled into her chair, her notepad on her lap. "So, Michael, let's start with the obvious question—how does it feel to receive the Nobel Prize?"

Michael took a moment to think before answering. "It's overwhelming, to be honest. It's not something you can really prepare for, and standing on that stage, I was just trying to take it all in. I'm grateful, but it's also a reminder of the responsibility that comes with it."

Jessica nodded, clearly interested in his perspective. "And what does this award mean to you as a Filipino? It's not every day that someone from the Philippines receives such a prestigious honor."

"It means a lot," Michael replied. "Growing up in the Philippines, you hear about the Nobel Prize, but it always seems like something far away, something that happens to other people. To be here and represent my country, it's an incredible feeling. I hope it shows that talent and innovation can come from anywhere, and that with hard work and perseverance, you can achieve great things."

Jessica jotted down a few notes, then continued with her questions. "How do you think this award will impact the Philippines? Do you think it will inspire others to pursue their dreams, even when the odds seem against them?"

"I hope so," Michael said, his voice sincere. "The Philippines has so much potential, and there are so many talented people who just need a chance to shine. If my story can inspire even one person to keep going, to keep pushing through the challenges, then this award will have done more than I could have ever imagined. The Philippines has a bright future, and I'm honored to be a part of it."

"Now, of course, receiving this honor would mean you'd receive rewards from the Philippine government, such as recognition, awards, and financial incentives. How do you feel about that?" Jessica asked, leaning forward with her microphone.

Michael considered the question before answering. "It's always an honor to be recognized by your own country, and I'd be grateful for any rewards that come my way. However, I'd prefer to direct those rewards to charities that need them the most. There are so many organizations doing incredible work to improve the lives of Filipinos, and I'd like to support them."

Jessica seemed intrigued by his response. "That's a noble approach. Do you have any specific charities in mind where you'd like to donate your rewards?"

"Yes, there are a few," Michael replied. "I want to focus on educational programs that help underprivileged children and medical initiatives that support health care for those who can't afford it. These are causes close to my heart, and I believe they can have a lasting impact on our communities."

Jessica jotted down more notes. "That's wonderful to hear. It sounds like you're committed to giving back and using your success to make a difference."

Michael nodded. "Absolutely. I think it's important to remember where we came from and to use our resources to help others. I'm in a position where I can make a difference, and I intend to do just that."

Jessica smiled, impressed by his humility and altruism. "Now, let's turn to the event where someone attempted to assassinate you, if it's okay."

"I don't mind, what's your question about it?" Michael permitted.

"So…Mr. Reyes, do you have an update on the assassin that attempted to eliminate you?"

Michael shook his head. "I think that question is best answered by the authorities in the Philippines who are handling the investigation. As far as I know, the police are still looking into it, but I trust they'll do their best to ensure that justice is served."

Thank you for addressing that. I understand it's a sensitive issue. Are you concerned about your safety, given that incident and your increasing visibility after receiving the Nobel Prize?"

"Security is always a priority, especially with the attention that comes with an award like this," Michael said, gesturing toward his security detail. "I'm grateful to have a dedicated team that takes care of these things. While it's not something I dwell on, I know it's important to be cautious and take the necessary precautions."

"That makes sense," Jessica said, her pen gliding across her notepad. "Let's shift back to the positive side. You mentioned earlier that you plan to donate your rewards to charity. Can you share why these particular causes are so important to you?"

Michael leaned back slightly, feeling more at ease with the direction of the conversation. "Education and healthcare are two areas that have the potential to create lasting change. I believe that when you invest in education, you give people the tools to shape their future. Healthcare is equally vital—everyone deserves access to quality medical services, regardless of their financial situation.

I want to support these causes because they have a direct impact on people's lives."

Jessica listened intently, her interest in his philanthropic outlook evident. "Your approach is admirable, Mr. Reyes. Do you have any plans to establish your own foundation to further support these initiatives?"

"I'm considering it," Michael admitted. "It would be a way to ensure that my efforts continue long after this Nobel Prize. I want to make sure that the resources are used effectively and reach those who need them most. But that's still a work in progress."
