When he collected himself, she had let go of his hand and wandered past him. Sean hurried after her and didn’t forget to glare at Jasper on his way out. He didn’t overhear the conversation. between Alyssa and Jasper, but he believed that Jasper wouldn’t have said anything nice.
“Jasper, have you deleted those photos? What a shameless bumpkin she is, threatening me with the photos. Thanks for protecting the reputation of our family!” Betty took Jasper’s arm in excitement to show off their sibling relationship.
Much to her dismay, Jasper appeared sullen because he was deeply affected by the words of his ex– wife. His piercing gaze swept past her face.
She cowered and quickly withdrew her hand.
“Were the photos Photoshopped?”
“Huh…” She was caught off guard.
“If the photos are real, Alice White technically did not slander you.” His eyes were wintry.

Betty struggled to figure out whether her brother was siding with her. It seemed that Alice still
had a place in his heart.
“I’m not blind. I witnessed everything that happened on that day.” He looked away and added, “The
issue has escalated beyond our control. You shall host a press conference tomorrow night and
issue an apology to that hotel employee.”
“What?” Betty’s face contorted in rage and shock. “But why? The customer is always the king! Not only did they offer crappy service, but they also broke my necklace! It was within my right to
scold them. Why would I apologize to her?”
All of a sudden, the screen on the second floor of EV Concepts lit up with a video that attracted all
attention.
It was a scene in the elevator of KS Grand Hotel, where two skimpily–dressed women decked in luxury items posed S**ily in front of the reflective doors. The two ladies were Betty’s girlfriends.
“Gosh, this makes me sick. Look at Betty Beckett–she’s so excited after buying that shitty necklace, What a show–off!”
