Chapter 410: Red Dawn World
Wang Ling parried Leo's knife with his sword and the clashing of steel echoed. He jumped as Vaki and Hela rushed him with their blade, dodging them easily. He sensed danger, he swung his sword only to have it be restricted by Rea's and Ella's chains.
"NOW!" Ella and Rea shouted.
With his body still in mid-air, his sword was restricted and the other three children regained their posture. Vaki, Hela, and Leo rushed Wang Ling and he smiled, let his sword go, and then twisted his body to strike the three with his now freed limb.
When Leo saw this, his eyes dilated, "Oh, we are screwed, guys." He stated.
Vaki got the right hand of love, Hela the left leg of a disciple, and Leo the right leg of discipinee. The three fell, and Wang Ling grabbed his sword back and pulled the two girls to him, immobilizing them the next moment by grabbing them on the face.
"Okay, I win." Wang Ling announced as he let go of Ella and Rea.
"Master, how merciless of you. You didn't even hold back against us." Leo complained as he helped Ella and Rea.
"That's right! That's right!" Vaki added while having the support of Hela who was nodding with ferocity.
Wang Ling just smiled at them, saying, "I let all of you, live that's me holding back in a fight." The five disciples shuddered at his words. They knew he's kind but all of them had seen his ferocity at least once so they knew he's not lying.
Wang Ling does not take prisoners. The five swallowed their discontent and just decided to clean themselves off the dirt they just ate.
I had been six months since Wang Ling returned from his expedition
Watching them leave, Wang Ling's peaceful smile was ear to ear. It had been about a year and three since he returned to life.
The first six months was used to regaining his qi and fighting against Abyssal Demons. The Next Six Months was spent on establishing a connection with the Lopus Family and establishing the Crimson Snow Sect and spreading his name. The last three months was solidifying his name and reputation as a righteous person and training disciples.
The Crimson Snow Sect was established, but because of the spectacle he pulled, the people were apprehensive to join him. Despite his strength, many saw him as someone who stood at the side of evil, but after his little expedition, he's now become an accepted name.
"Grandmaster, the Lopus Family Head has arrived." Alidia arrived to inform him. She had now been turned to Wang Ling's secretary.
She was not forced or anything, she accepted the position the day Wang Ling decided to purge the Slave Trade in this region. Alidia looked at Wang Ling's simple attire and just asked him, "Are you really not considering wearing something more suiting?"
"What? Is a Scholar's robe not fitting for a Scholar?"
"If anything else, you are more of a General than a Scholar though you revising and writing all that techniques from the previous era in just two months makes this conversation rather useless to anyone." Alidia sighed.
When Wang Ling attacked the Star Seeking Sect his method of attack was to burn everything to the ground. He did just that but at the cost of a lot of techniques being burned.
Of course, the higher-grade techniques were protected by a formation, but the lower-grade techniques accessible to weaker cultivators were burnt down. To replace them Wang Ling had created techniques of his own, and he did just that.
Using the techniques from the past era and dumbing them down to match the flow of qi in this era, Wang Ling created hundreds of techniques from sword techniques to movement methods, he used everything.
This is Wang Ling's third Era, and considering how he sought out every technique he got from the First Era, and how he even managed to read the techniques of the second, Wang Ling's techniques would be one of a kind in this Era.
One could say he's being original by ripping off others. Though he's rather frustrated at the fact he could not utilities the Saint and Celestial Techniques he had in abundance.
The Saint's Cultivation lies in the change of one's ascension from Mortality, and Celestia in controlling the Soul and qi. The Saint Cultivation technique will last this Sect until the Rank-5 Mortal Severance Cultivation Stage.
The Celestial Stage would most likely be useable until beyond that, and the little Immortal Techniques he learned from the Black Dragon would last him till Rank-7 or so he hopes.
[But to do all that I first need to break through the Worldly Manifestation Realm. The other Sect Masters of this Region is only at Qi Refinement Realm like myself, I can kill them all easily, but I already decided to go against that after I endorsed myself as a Hero.]
The idea of annexing the Sects with as little death as possible was his goal, with this Wang Ling would finally decide to take raising his cultivation more seriously.
Wang Ling followed Alidia to the Highest Mountain Peak that was now called Grand Snow Hall because of the white stone used on its construct. Wang Ling stepped out of his abode located West of the Sect and near the Training Grounds of the disciples.
Upon stepping out he saw the new students who were all saved by him from slavery looked at him with brightened eyes, "Good morning Sect Master!"
All of them announced as they bowed their heads in respect of him, "Do not mind me, carry on."
This abode of his was a temporary building, he could take any of the Seven Mountains but he decided not to because he didn't want to move. Besides his presence in the lowest parts of the Sect would result in him being seen as him having humility and the disciples would then frequent the training grounds in hopes of receiving a glance from their savior.
Wang Ling was not just an eccentric person, every thing he does will always result in his victory and even if he loses, he'll always find ways for him to win.
This is his way of becoming a Sect Master.
While Wang Ling busily manages the funds of his Sect and the future of his Region, in the Southeast of the Universe there's a land called the Red Dawn World. That World was without the presence of a single life other than trees and a single human, that person would happen to be the Sword God.
The Red Dawn World was a massive realm, and it was the bastion of the Southeast's defense from the Abyssal Demons. However, reports flooded the Heaven Hell Sword Tower that the Red Dawn World was destroyed and the Sword God went missing.
