Chapter 456: Rushing to reach the Summit

Two weeks had passed since the incident back at the Silver Blade World occurred. Wang Ling had already established his cultivation realm of Worldly Manifestation, his soul had settled down after the assimilation of a new Ring.

His theories have been confirmed, his flames could indeed start his lineage of Phoenix Qi, thus allowing him to access an unlimited supply of vitality. Though he had yet to fully harness the power of the Phoenix Vitality as Wang Ling's map of veins has yet to be completed.

As of now he had found a total of 599 Minor Pathways but the pathways were still a long way from being completed, [The more I open Minor Pathways, the more I need stronger flames.] Due to the lineage stemming from the Phoenix, who was also known as the originator of flames, Wang Ling knew that its intensity was needed to summon the lineage's strength, [It is time to begin my ascension.] thus the need for growth.

Wang Ling stayed inside a cabin; he silently kept his qi in check as around him were several treasures he stole from the Tomb. Other than Scorching Wave Heart of the Volcanic Liger which constantly emitted flame qi with every beat, Wang Ling brought out everything, including what he got from Qinyang and the twins.

The three girls actually collected enough treasure for Wang Ling to consume without care for the world. If not for his qi regulation, the cabin he was in now would have been set ablaze as the flame qi would devour everything surrounding them.

Wang Ling thankfully could rely on Angel to protect everything from their heatwaves. The room filled with treasures became a natural cultivation room for Wang Ling to utilize and after some quick estimation, Wang Ling confirmed the important matter for today.

[All of this should be enough to help me break through the barriers of the Mortality Severance Realm, the realm after Worldly Manifestation.]

Though it had only been weeks since Wang Ling progressed to such heights, the fact of the matter remained that it didn't matter for an existence like Wang Ling. He was a member of the Holy Race, he needed not train any element for the laws of the Universe existed within.

Like any of the Primordial Races, he was an existence beyond comprehension. Wang Ling only needed to ensure he had enough qi to supplement his ascension to the next realm without a problem. He estimated that half of the treasures would be used to stabilize his foundation and the rest would be to start the process of severing his ties to Mortality.

He began his cultivation with nothing but the initiative of a thought. Wang Ling's eyes slanted and then closed as he took a deep breath. Around him, the qi was funneled over his head and into his Overlord Veins that converted everything into a mass of clouds.

Wang Ling sensing how fast the Overlord Meridians assimilated such qi.

[The Overlord Meridians is finally showing its strength.] Wang Ling had long accepted the Overlord Meridians, but only now did it began showing its strength. The way it purified qi, the way if managed to suck in so much with so little time, Wang Ling became joyous at the thought of his improvement.

The qi warped and then changed. In a sea of flame, he danced and swam, Wang Ling reveled in the sensation but controlled the euphoria. The flames turned into a massive blaze and then, everything changed into a massive ball that engorged him within.

Wang Ling's body lifted from the ground. The thick atmosphere burned, it scorched the lungs if it could've, but, it didn't. What could have been lethal to anyone was nothing but a pleasure to himself.

[I am no longer a human cultivator.] The signs of his body mutating to something beyond human was showing themselves. In a cultivation state, while Wang Ling did nothing but meditate and focus on himself, Wang Ling finally managed to notice the changes.

How he could not feel every fluctuation of the elemental qi surrounding him. How it felt the World around him was no longer how it seemed, slowly, these rare sensations became commonplace, and slowly, it turned what seemed bizarre normal.

[The Worldly Manifestation is when a cultivator creates a deeper connection to the world, manipulates its essence, and creates a pathway to the elements. But for me my own body is the world, and tendrils feel like sprouting out of my pores, expected the minute changes in the flow. Sensitive, an overflow of information, yet, it remained possible to disseminate with others.] Wang Ling's thoughts became deeper with every passing second.

Wang Ling's cultivation continued, his qi grew in density, and thought it might seem forced, he used the treasures to break through the barriers of the Worldly Manifestation Realm one after the other.

It was happening too quickly, unnatural, yet, simply understandable. He who controlled the elements no longer needed to concentrate and find the gentlest path. Simply, he had a direct link and now, he only needed to strengthen the connection and after 43 days, Wang Ling completed the giant hurdle!

Wang Ling reached the pinnacle of Worldly Manifestation, the flames was his and so was everything else. He felt no different from before, but that was simply because he was who he was.

With this, however, he refused to stop for even a second. Wang Ling's qi reached his heart, the pathway to his soul, and began the reformation of the soul in order for him to reach Mortality Severance Realm.

A realm where cultivators shall rid themselves of the taint that was their mortality. Wang Ling reforges his soul and then began the reformation of his meridians and created a direct line beyond the normally (Impure Qi) of the current universe then tapping into several refined qis of the upper Universal Realms. These were the requirements for Wang Ling to pass the giant wall of the two realms. He needed to break through these barriers with great difficulty or so he should have.

The process of cultivation was, simply put, worthless to someone like Wang Ling. His soul was beyond human or Mortal capacity and strength. It was a Soul worth that of two people, and then could not easily be affected unless it was the strengthened form of the Bell of the Heavens.

His Meridians was that of the Overlord Veins. His meridians were already changed long before Wang Ling could understand how cultivation worked in this Era. A meridian that filtered out any impurities, a meridian stronger and more resilient than anything.

And lastly, a deep connection to Origin itself.

[So that is why I am in a hurry to reach this realm.]

Wang Ling opened his eyes, his hair had grown longer and from deep into his pupils were an azure hue glowing with a calm light Wang Ling realized the truth about himself.

[The moment I reached this third life I was already at this Cultivation Realm.] Finally, Wang Ling could feel bits of himself seething out of invisible tethers.
