Chapter 238: Meeting With Gaia 1
“The EIA allowed for its privacy to be breached because the presence of the invaders led to an increase in the power of the new cadets, it was a healthy invasion.
Besides, the Invaders were also very quiet about their work and never showed up till now, their only existence being the increase in strength of the group.
That is why the EIA didn’t bother to apprehend them and simply ignored them.
What I just don’t understand is how they’re able to increase the strength of the students. That’s the anomaly…” Instructor Moneca said, a light curiosity sparkling in her eyes but soon dispersed.
And Zeras didn’t bother to ask how the students had their strength quickly growing.
Raising the back of his right hand to his face, although the tattoo was not clear, he could feel its existence.
“Instructor Moneca, I wish to ask you about something…”
“Oh, what is that?” Instructor Moneca raised an eyebrow.
“Can something be imbued in a card? Like an attack or vision in a simple card…” Zeras asked with a confused expression on his face and that was because he was truly confused.Seeing a simple card act as a camera and also imbued with an attack at the Middle Meteor rank stage. It greatly piqued his curiosity.
“A card is no different from an object made of paper. It all changes when runes are inscribed on it!”
“Runes?”
“Yes, runes. As technology is to humans, the runes are the same as the ancient races in the limitless universe.
Of course, not all race uses technology, so they get by with runes. There are thousands of runes, each having its functionality.
Some are light runes that act instead of bulbs, some transmit sounds instead of the human communication device. There are thousands of runes like this and each with its functionality.
As for a rune imbued with an attack. It is definitely a high-grade rune, rare among the different grades of runes.
Such a rune can only be carved by a powerful runesmith. But runes are now become outdated and the races are now focusing more on technology…” Instructor Moneca explained lengthily, waving her book to the side.
“Hmmm,” Zeras gave an understanding nod, a glint flashing in his eyes.
“The New Cadets in the Interdimensional combat department are still working on better maneuvering spaceship which is no doubt useless for you.
Normally, Specialist Rank like you are always trying to quickly improve their rankings and rank up on the Elite ranking.
That’s what I think you should be doing currently. But once you have the time, you can come to the lab, and learn a thing or two from the group.”
“I will,” Zeras affirmed as silence enveloped the room.
2 hours later…
Zeras finally finished reading the book in his hands as he dropped it back on the shelf.
“I’ll be paying a visit tomorrow, Instructor Moneca…” Zeras said drawing a nod from her as Zeras turned back and moved out through the exit.
Seconds later…
Instructor Moneca held the book in his hands, digesting its content with a serious expression on her face when suddenly she put the book down to her lap, her eyes narrowed at the exit when suddenly a smile appeared on her face.
“He has truly grown strong and matured too. It would have been pretty childish if he had asked for my help for the little skirmish…” She said out loud, a playful smirk on her lips.
“Let’s see how he handles it…” She said to herself, properly reclining on the sofa as she continued reading the book, although what she was currently thinking was unknown.

Khan exited the ExcelSpace Labs moving outside the organization as he arrived back in the EIA training base.
“Huuu…” Exhaling loudly he wondered about his next current move.
He couldn’t commence his next attack on the Celestria family any time soon due to his cultivation stage.
He couldn’t attend the regular class due to being above the remaining students.
His best choice right now, instead of stagnating was to go on another mission. But that was undoable, with his home not being secured. There was just no way, he could leave with peace of mind knowing his home was a dwelling place for an unknown group.
Who knew what he’d meet in the room once he came back from the mission?
And the EIA higher-ups have yet to send his rewards even though it has already been three days now.
“I’ll just wait for the rewards before deciding on my next move…” Zeras thought to himself as his eyes flashed and he moved towards a particular direction, directly opposite his dorm room.
He was going to the training hall and check if Gaia was still there.
Walking down the EIA training base, there were still some students moving around the place, in twos and threes, but Zeras didn’t pay much attention and didn’t attract much himself.
That was until when suddenly all the hair at the back of his neck stood up.
It was his body’s natural reaction to being looked at. But Zeras didn’t turn back as he kept moving forward as if he didn’t sense anything, the training structure appearing in his line of sight.
Entering the large structure, it was just as he last saw it.
Huge and desolate!
Moving through the hall, he moved towards the place with the words, combat room. His eyes peered through the wall, seeing a green-haired figure who was currently surrounded by about three robots around the Middle Meteor rank stage.
“Just as expected…” Zeras said with a smile on his face.
“And she appears to have grown stronger too. Let me give her a nice surprise…”
