Chapter 334: Last Stand Of A Prodigy

“ARRGH.” The groan of pain escaped Adrian’s lips as he felt the entire world tighten its hold against him, while his internal organs seemed to want to collapse on itself…

The ability to destroy things by just saying them was a skill Zeras had watched Seree do which seemed to be from the so-called speech devil. Since he was basically supreme within his domain, he had considered trying out the speech devils’ command withing his hollow domain and it seemed it worked.

“-3000 Energy” The golden panel notification, but Zeras kind of already expected it. The power to crumble a peak cosmic rank stage would definitely be a crazy amount but it seemed he was too happy.

Even though Adrian simply stood where he is, as blood poured down his lips, Zeras noticed the space surrounding him suddenly began shattering into pieces.

“Hollo domain skill: Hollow Point…”

“Hollow Domain skill: Hollow point”

“Hollow Domain skill: Hollow point”

Zeras called out three times and immediately he deactivated his domain before quickly disappearing into the distance.

2 seconds later…

“Tch, brake for me…” Adrian roared out loud and immediately the space surrounding him was immediately shattered to pieces as he forcefully breaks through the bind of Zeras’s orders.

But once he did that both chaotic balls appeared right in front of his faster than he could react and then…

BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM

They slammed on Adrian’s face as his neck jerked backwards and he was lifted off his feet but in the next second, his leg forcefully slammed down back on the ground as he forcefully raised back his head, against the power of the two ball of chaotic point that were pushing down on his head.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

And immediately the balls exploded directly on Adrian’s face as blood droplets rolled down his face. His forehead and the side of his eyes has a small cut on them which closed back instantaneously in the next second.

The Hollow point which killed three early Meteor rank from the Demogorgon family only made injuries on Adrian that healed a second later…

“Hehehehe, what a really prodigious one. Even able to drop blood from a person like me. Tsk, tsk, tsk it would be a pity to kill such a talented one. Unfortunately, I don’t change my mind…” Adrian mused, when suddenly…

DRRIIIIIIIIIING

DRIIIIIIIIIIIIING

DRIIIIIIIIIIIIIING

“What is it again?”

“Sir, we are facing heavy resistance. We need for your back up…” The alarmed voice of the person rang in his ears.

“Ok. Will be there soon.” Adrian said, before keeping his device back in his pocket.

“I have enjoyed the play enough, Zeras…” Adrian said and immediately, his face changed. All forms of playfulness disappeared instantly replaced by absolute focus.

“Fourth gene, Open. Heart of a Kirin…” Adrian mumbled and immediately.

BADUUUUMP

BADUUUUUUUUMP

BADUUUUUUUUUUUUMP

His heart began pumping crazily within his chest as strange reddish tattoo appeared all over his body, each brimming with a powerful crimson-coloured energy.

And in the next second, he suddenly stretched forth his hands as he violently jerked at the empty space and immediately, he ripped apart space into two.

Within the rip open space, one could see Zeras, this time wearing a strange astral suit, and running with a horrifying Mach 11 speed and immediately, Adrian entered into the space, appearing less than twenty meters away from Zeras.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

“It is useless, it is useless…” Zeras screamed out helplessly as he ran with all his speed, sending every remnant of mana within his body within his Void walker. He knew well his hollow domain definitely wouldn’t be able to hold down a peak cosmic ranks stage being. The best thing he could was to try and hold Adrian back and run as far as he could.

Hs legs already turned to a hundred and behind Zeras a total of 6 wings could be seen on his back which formed the phantom of a hundred due to how fast he was moving.

Yet…

A phantasmal power bloomed right behind him just twenty meters away as he saw two hands violently ripped space itself apart into two and a figure slowly came out of that space.

“I’m sure you should have known this is a hopeless chicken run, right?” Adrian asked, unfortunately, Zeras didn’t wait to listen as he immediately gained a distance of 10 kilometres before Adrian once again pulled space apart and disappeared into it.

“Run. I need to run…” Zeras mused, a stubborn glint flashing in his eyes but was there even a place to tun too. He didn’t even know where he was currently running.

There was none to help him either, he was too deep within the enemy territory.

Suddenly, Zeras face changed as he forced himself to a stop, his shocked eyes looking in front of him where a figure could be seen sitting cross-legged with a bored expression on his face.

“But how?” Zeras asked in shock as he turned behind him and look in front of him in shock.

“So do you still want to keep running?” Adrian asked with a raised eyebrow as the Void walker beneath Zeras feet drained completely and his astral armour also drained completely. He had run out of mana enough to power both artifacts.

“I’ll kill you Zeras. But as a respect towards your talent. I’ll let you die a befitting death. Stop running and fight me with your all…” Adrain said seriously as he rose up from his sitting position and stared at him.

The air gently blew across the place as both young men simply looked at each other.

[Energy point: 1100]

[Mana Core Energy: 30/800]

Zeras looked at his remaining energy points and slowly the reality of his death began sinking in to his chest causing his heart to grow cold and his bone to stiffen within him.

“Don’t fall to that Zeras. Too scared of death to even give his all. That is the most unbefitting death of all…” Adrian said with a deadpan expression as Zeras forcefully reawakened himself and he exhaled loudly, before suddenly a large smile bloomed on his face.

“I’ll give it my last all…” He mused and slowly Zeras raised both hands upwards as if wanting to hold something up in the air and absolute focus appeared on his face.

The last stand of a prodigy. It was something worth watching and Adrian waited to see it and, in the end, the wait was well worth it….
