Chapter 336: Zeras Gets Crippled
It was a feeling of pain. A pain that tore through the very fabric of his existence, but accompanying that was also a feeling of intense loss and weakness.
It was a strange feeling of being incomplete. That was what Zeras felt as he watched his mana core present within Adrian’s gasp.
“Do you know why I try to kill you as gently as possible? Doing all that was just so you can relax. Once a mana cultivator relaxes completely, the same can be said for their mana core and that would be the best time to devour their mana core.
“But you just have to struggle so crazily and waste all the efforts of my hard work. Now your mana core is only at 20% of its full capacity and wouldn’t benefit me much. But strangely that is not the case…” Adrian said and in the next moment, Zer’s heart stopped beating as his mana core was thrown into the air.
His hands automatically stretched towards it although that was only wishful thinking as Adrian clamped his jaws on it and crushed the mana core in his mouth, munching on it as if it was the tastiest object in the world.
“This mana. Your base mana is incredibly pure, how do you manage to cultivate such mana…” Adrian roared out in disbelief and the next moment, Zeras watched the unbelievable.
Immediately the bloody and frail-looking Adrian suddenly began changing, starting from his skin peeling off his body and his frail body slowly growing muscular.
In less than five seconds, Adrian returned to his initial size, except this time, his skin shone with brilliant white as if carved off the most beautiful of marble, his already devilishly handsome face reaching a completely new level.
But what grabbed Zera’s attention the most were 2. Firstly, was Adrian’s face. Now it was like that of an 18-year-old instead of its former 20-year-old looking. He looked just like a teen. The second thing was Adrian’s aura. It had reached an unbelievable state and he could see space collapsing around Adrian just as he stood in place, but even more was a mysterious aura that surrounded his figure. A mysterious aura that gave Zeras the feeling as if Adrian was an infinite expanse of a galaxy! And his eyes widened unbelievably at the realization.
“You…you have reached the Pseudo-galaxy rank stage…” Zeras gasped in shock.
“Yes. This is a stage I calculated I would reach after 87 years but now I’ve reached it. All thanks to you. Your mana core is the strangest that I have ever devoured and also the most powerful…” Adrian said with a malevolent face as he looked at the young man’s pale face and watched as despair slowly set in.
“Do you know for mana cultivators, there is a punishment much worse than death itself, and that is a gene awakener getting crippled. You have been praised as a one-in-a-million genius. The EIA sending you on this mission shows that. But now, I want to see what will the EIA think of you or do to you once they realize you’re now just an ordinary mortal…” Adrian said with a smile as he looked straight into Zera’s pupils.
“But also, you have lost almost a hundred percent of your life essence. I genuinely doubt you could spend five more years without dying. You’re about to witness what it means to fall from the highest heavens down to the bottom of hell, so good luck with that.” Adrian said and immediately, his aura flared brightly, tearing space asunder and instantly he disappeared into the torn space to the devil’s knows where…

Every notification hit Zeras more than a moving train at Mach 10 speed and slowly darkness set in, proving some sort of haven to him, and he melted in its embrace.

A few hours earlier…
The multitudes of spaceships appeared before the gigantic space and slowly they all suddenly paused as they looked at the great emptiness before them.
Standing at the utmost front of the multitudes of spaceship was none other than Commander Sigrid whose eyes turned to look at his device where the outline of a map could be seen.
On the map was a flaming red dot that blinked in and out of existence and right in front of the multitudes of green-colored dots.
“Hmmmmm, according to the map we are right in front of the galaxy revolver, so how come?” Commander Sigrid mused looking at the vast emptiness of space when suddenly his eyebrows furrowed together as he looked intently at the void of space before a smirk appeared on his face.
“Tch, pallor tricks…” He mused and he raised his hands to the multitudes of EIA spaceships around him causing all of them to move back and gain a safe distance from him.
“Hyyyyyyah…”
Once the EIA spaceship moved back enough, Commander Sigrid’s hands violently jerked forward and instantly he pulled at the space as if trying to remove a piece of fabric.
Space shattered like glass under the powerful pull of Commander Sigrid and instantly, the ginormous object was revealed.
A gigantic red-colored star about half the size of planet Earth.
“So that’s where you have been hiding all this while…” Commander Sigrid said with a sinister grin and immediately he signaled to the spaceships behind him as space shook chaotically and the multitudes of spaceships entered into the star endlessly.
