Chapter 28: Dreams To Die For
Dreams are a funny thing. People have studied them for years and have many ideas as to what causes them. The funny thing is that we never really are able to understand what we see and how it relates to us. Laz knew this because he had many strange dreams for many years.
Tonight brought a very interesting dream.
Standing on a large object, Laz was standing next to the beautiful Aruna Princess, gazing at the city sprawled out below them. Had he known better, he would have been able to see that this was Los Angeles and he was standing on the giant O in the Hollywood sign.
He didn't look at her although she was sitting right next to him looking over the city.
'You're here," she said as she smiled.
"Maybe, maybe not." Laz had a weird feeling like he was but wasn't there. Like his body was solid but he could drift away at anytime.
"Ooo, so mysterious," she giggled, her blue hair was drifting along with the wind.
"Not going to try to kill me this time?" Laz asked although he didn't look over. He felt like he had been played with enough times by too many people. He didn't like it and didn't want to be so easy to play anymore.
"You seemed so innocent the last time I saw you and now this? What happened to you my little monkey?" The Princess looked over at him. Although he didn't look down to confirm, he had the feeling that he was standing there in his boxers, the same ones he went to bed with. For the moment he figured he should be glad he didn't go to sleep naked.
"Innocent huh? Yeah, maybe I was. Maybe I still am. But I'm not about to talk about it to you," Laz said somewhat resolutely.
'I could be so damn cool if I wasn't in my underwear,' Laz thought to himself.
"Ha ha ha. That's so good. The underwear monkey has his pride huh? I guess you are still just as innocent." She couldn't help but almost bend over laughing. She could see through him at a glance no matter what he thought.
Her green eyes were softly aglow as her succulent lips slightly spread. Her barely contained breasts shook up and down as though two creatures were struggling to break free. The soft and smooth white skin of her legs reflected the moon light as she kicked up and down while she laughed.
The heavens themselves couldn't produce a sexier creature if they tried. Even her feet looked tender and pure while tensed into crescent curls due to her laughter.
Laz wasn't going to look at her, no matter what. He knew how bewitching those eyes could be as he had lost himself in them the last time. This may not be real, but he had finally learned vigilance that had almost come at the price of his life.
He learned how to be more careful.
"My my, what is this? You won't even look at this Princess even though I called you here to talk?"
She stood up and walked over to him, walking behind him and looking at him carefully. Placing a finger on his back, she traced it upwards around the base of his neck while continuing to circle him. Moving along his collar bone and then down his chest, she finally dragged her finger to the 'tattoo' on his chest.
"You are stronger than before hmm?" She said while her gaze rested on the mark.
Leaning in closely, she took a deep breath of his scent.
"You've killed?" She said as she took a step back in shock, looking at his eyes. What she was searching for only she knew..
Laz took a deep breath to steady his nerves. By all rights he should be aroused by this situation, but that was the farthest thought from his mind. This woman had almost killed him the last time he met her and was laughing at him this time. He wasn't a man who was hung up on his pride, but he wasn't going to abandon himself either. He wasn't going to kneel to this woman or be seduced by her either.
He didn't think he could control himself if he looked into those deep and mesmerizing eyes, but he also felt it was a challenge that he needed to overcome. He was still a virgin so he was a bit awkward around women in general and couldn't act as natural as he would have wanted. Desi was a good example of a woman who could get under his skin easily.
She stood there somewhat expectantly, waiting for his response. Drawing up her arms, she crossed them in front of her chest, helping her heaving bosom achieve an even greater height.
Knowing he wouldn't get out of this otherwise, Laz finally turned his deep blue eyes to stare at her glowing green ones. When their gazes locked, Laz felt himself start going slightly blank. There was the feeling of some part of him wiggling as though it wanted out and it had nothing to do with an erection.
He could have sworn that it felt like his soul wanted to leave him, if he believed in that stuff.
He finally realized that this goddess like beauty was as dangerous in his dreams as she was in real life. He knew he might be in trouble if this continued.
He thought that he had grown stronger, but it turns out that in front of this devil fairy, he was still just as weak as ever.
Although he felt fear, he also felt anger. Anger at himself for his weakness. Anger at himself for his lack of control. The last few days of being dragged into one thing after another just started boiling within in, making him feel like he wanted to lash out.
Although it was irrational, he blamed this princess in his heart, so even though he felt his soul draining, he couldn't help but direct his rage at her.
His eyes lit up in a glaring red and his body tensed, almost seeming to expand in size. He felt like he was much stronger now than before he has absorbed those weird green specks.
He looked her directly in the eyes as she looked back at him, not saying a word.
"Mmm, I knew I wasn't wrong. You have it in you, that beautiful blood ust. I could feel it the first time we met. Hidden behind those piercing blue eyes that radiated your indifference, there is actually the heart of a warrior. Most women will be attracted to those blue eyes of yours that cool, enchant and seduce. But all I want is to be glared at by you with that wicked hatred."
She took three steps forward, her bare feet seemingly walking on the wind. Raising her long, slender hand with the slightly claw like nails to Laz's cheek, she ran her hand along his jaw as though caressing a lover. Her face was within a breath of his face while her eyes never left his.
Laz just stood there without moving, as though he could do so for all eternity. In truth, he was horrified at this woman being this close, but he knew that even if he made a move, she could kill him before he blinked.
"One day, my little underwear monkey, I will kill you. Until that time though, you are mine. My possession, my toy, whatever I want. You'd best remember that," she said, her entire voice filled with ice and a little something more.
The princess took a step back as her hand drew across his chin, leaving the lingering scent of her skin in his nose. She turned around and looked up at the bright moon, seeming to have forgotten about him.
Although Laz wanted to run away or wake up or whatever, he still stood there and faced her with his bright red eyes, like two torches in the night. His gaze never left her even as she drew away.
He found that he had resisted her, he had caused the feeling of his soul draining out to stop with his own power although she was still trying to do so. He knew she was probably angry and that he shouldn't feel proud about such a small thing, but he couldn't help himself.
Just as he was getting ready to smile, he took a small breath and noticed that she had vanished. He blinked his eyes once to confirm what he was seeing before he got the strange feeling of rapidly falling.
The reason why it was strange was because although he felt he was falling rather fast, he was able to see in front of him that his body was still standing there, minus his head.
The princess was right behind him with her beautiful hand extended out while it looked as though she had just chopped her right hand over and down and had caused a splash of red paint to fly forward.
Waking up in his bed, Laz scratched his head and tried to figure out what exactly had happened.
