Today was going to be busy. Not just for Reece and I but for a lot of the castle staff. I know that we were just inviting family and close friends, but that was still a lot of people. There was the ten of us, although Reeselynn was only three months old and didn’t need to eat at the party that we were having.

There was Shawn and Dietrich with their ten kids, and the fact that Shawn was pregnant with twins and eating a lot more already. And all the other guards and their families, which were mostly smaller.

Juniper and Paul, Cedar and Acacia, Mom and Dad and my little sister, Noah and Nikki, Carter and Emmalee, Bryce and Bree, Aunt Glory and Trevor, Athair mòr and Daciana, Grandfather and Lila, Griffin and Lana, Devon and Ella, Riley and Katie, Landon and Ava, and all the kids of these family and friends. We just didn’t have a small inner circle. And that made parties particularly large.

Now, what was this party for? Why were we doing this today? Well, just for the hell of it. That was truly all that it was for and nothing else. Shawn and Dietrich came home from Germany two weeks ago with big news, Vincent had news, a lot of people in our group had news, and we wanted to let everyone share and celebrate with it all at once.

Then, next month, we would be doing something like this all over again, when Talia turned sixteen. I still couldn’t believe that she was already so grown up, or that she was already going to college, at just barely sixteen years old. She was so smart and so advanced that it was hard for me to process at times. I was proud of her though, she was an amazing young woman.

And I knew that there would be no issues when she went to school. Since she was under eighteen and the world knew of us now, we were able to send Alexio to the university with her. She would be protected.

Now, back to today’s party. We were having a BBQ. Everyone was looking forward to it, as it was a bit of an end of the school year sort of celebration. It was also just another way for us to celebrate that there were no major events happening. Nothing aside from a small number of people here and there talking about how they don’t want to share the world with nonhumans.

They weren’t doing anything though. And we were monitoring everything to make sure that nothing ever did happen.

There were a lot of fun things set up for the kids to do today, for all the different ages that were going to be in attendance. We had bounce houses for the littler kids, pools, slides, and other water fun for different ages of kids. A small carnival set up for them as well, also for different ages. There were even two different roller coasters that they could ride.

The benefit of having space and money, and a desire to spoil the kids in your life as much as possible.

The adults could partake as well, if they wanted. Or they could talk amongst themselves while the kids played. I was going to do both, I won’t be able to help it, I am a fun loving kid on the inside as well. Not to mention, the quads wanted me to ride some rides with them.

There was food galore going into this event. With there being nearly a hundred people in attendance, and most of them with very large appetites, there needed to be a lot of food. And a variety of it as well. There would be traditional BBQ foods though, nothing overly extravagant. Ribs, hot dogs, hamburgers, sausages, steak, chicken, salads galore, chips, veggies, and all those lovely things.

Abigail and the others were busy making sure that it was all taken care of for when they all started to arrive here at around noon.

Reece, the giant man child that he was, was busy setting up water fighting stations all over the gardens and throughout the woods. He had a massive fireworks display for this evening. And he was just about as giddy as he could possibly be in a situation like this. Not that I minded. He was cute and adorable when he was like this.

OK, yes, I loved that he was strong, muscly, and sexy, but there was just something about seeing your man having fun, that goofy grin and those excited laughs, that made him so much more attractive. I loved how handsome and mouthwatering he was, that wasn’t the issue here.

I just felt like seeing him like this, knowing that he was having such a good time, it made him all that much more appealing to me. And I was pretty sure that I wasn’t the only woman in the world that felt like this for her man. Their happiness is one of the most sexy things about them. In my opinion anyway.

"Trinity." Abigail called out to me. "The food is nearly ready. And you have the containers ready, so it will all remain at the proper temperature, as well as bug free, for as long as you need it to."

"Thank you so much, Abigail." I said as I hurried around the garden, making sure that everything was finalized. Yes, I was a Queen, but I still preferred to be a part of things like this, especially when it involved so many people that were so dear to me.

"I have made sure that all of the tables and chairs are set properly, Trinity. We have all that I need, and there are coolers with more than enough drinks at each table." Roisin said as she wiped her hands on her apron.

"You are a guest at this party, Roisin. You’re not supposed to be doing all of this."

"I am just helping you to get ready. I am done now. The others will be taking it from here." She looked at her subordinates and nodded. They smiled in return and I knew that they would do a wonderful job from here on out.

It was almost time for the party to officially start, and those that were like me, started to arrive early. Gabriel, already being here, was among the first to come to the party aside from his wife Roisin. He brought their children with him, Brenna and Shamrock. They were close to the same age as the quads, Brenna about a year or so older than them.

There were a lot of kids that were close to the quads age, as there had been a lot of them born around that time. Just as there were a lot born around the same time that Reagan and Rika were born. And even a few of similar ages to Talia. It was like this happened every time that I had kids.

After Gabriel arrived with his two kids, Shawn and Dietrich arrived with their children. The first that happened, was that Dietrich went over to Roisin, hugged her, and said in a very calm and sweet voice.

"Congratulations on the twins, sweet Roisin. One of each, how lovely."

"Uh..uhm th..thank you, Dietrich." She blushed scarlet. "I..I hadn’t told anyone yet. Gabriel was the only one that knew." She looked at me embarrassedly. "I didn’t want to take the spotlight away from your party, Trinity."

"It is fine, Roisin. I am happy for you." I was holding Reeselynn as I said that, snuggling her in response to talk of more babies. This made four that I knew of that were pregnant: Shawn, Heather, Roisin, and Acacia. I was so happy for all of them and their families. I loved that we had more little ones coming into the world.

There was a steady stream of people that continued to arrive after that. They came in, hugged me and the baby, shook hands with Reece, and took their seats around the room. All the while, I could see the looks on Shawn and Dietrich’s faces. They were looking at all the people around us with happiness, giddiness, and excitement.

I saw that even their kids, Alyssa, Alexandria, Levi, and Luka were also thinking the same things that they were. And I just had a feeling that there was something that I needed to ask everyone, to address, once we got the party fully started.

I was pretty sure I knew what was going to happen, what was going to be said during the next few minutes of this party, but I didn’t want to ruin anything for myself just yet. So, for that reason, I didn’t go over to Shawn and Dietrich to ask them about their very suspicious smiles and excited looks. I wanted to do this all at once.

That was one benefit of us all being friends and so close to each other. We were comfortable with each other and didn’t need to feel embarrassed about these things in the normal everyday parts of our lives.

Oh, this party was about to be even more special than I thought that it was going to be. There was just so much for us to talk about, to learn from each other, and to be excited about. I hoped that they were all ready to tell me their secrets, and to see how happy that it all made me. These kinds of things were just the sort to make me want to squeal in happiness and euphoria.
