Chapter 194: Finale (1)
At the Mitsuya Guild’s headquarters.
The top leaders of the Mitsuya Guild, Japan’s representative guild, came to its headquarters, summoned by the guild leader, Ryu Sechi.
A couple of people summoned were not regular members, instead coming to this meeting for the first time.
They were the leaders of the Takehara Guild and the Shunan Guild, both of which had suffered considerable damage this time.
After all the leaders were gathered, they immediately played a video recording from a Memory Bead, and the other members quietly watched it.
A little later they began to express their opinions one by one.
“He must be Asirante. The only one who can show such abilities is Asirante.”
Chairman Ryu Seichi, who watched the video carefully, opened his mouth.
Then he smacked his lips and continued, as if he had lots of regrets.
“If that guy is really a Japanese, not Asirante, he would be a great blessing to Japan. But he can’t be Japanese…”
As a matter of fact, Chairman Ryu Sechi wished that the guy currently shaking up the “Revival Legend” in Japan was really not Asirante. If that guy was really a Japanese, he would hire him at all costs.
But Chairman Ryu Sechi had no choice but to touch his beard when Inoguchi, his right hand man and intelligence chief, said, “I feel the same way. I’m 100% sure that he is the Korean Asirante.”
The chairman then pointed at 29 men around Asirante.
“Who the hell are they?”
“They are from the Mirae Guild.”
“Korea’s Mirae Guild?”
“Yes, sir. They are the elites of the Mirae Guild and its chairman Junghwan Yon is also participating.”
When Chairman Ryu Sechi asked, Inoguchi, chief of the intelligence unit, answered without any hesitation.
“How come you are so sure?”
So, Chairman Ryu asked Inoguchi why he was so sure because although the Mirae Group of Korea was a bit behind the Mitsuya Group, it could not be treated lightly.
Moreover, Chairman Yon was the Mirae Group’s leader and he was supposed to be participating in this operation.
However, Chairman Ryu had no choice but to stop questioning when he heard Inoguchi’s next words.
“Nobody in Korea can message Chairman Yon and his right hand man right now. I hear they are now in a different region.”
“…”
Inoguchi, who was a close assistant of Chairman Ryu and had a considerable say within the Mitsuya group, could not investigate Chairman Yon’s every movement, but he could go as far as urging those who were on Yon’s friends’ list to message him. So, he could find out that some important members of the Mirae Guild including Chairman Yon had moved to another area, which happened to be Region 52, Japan.
“These bastards are crazy. Crazy! How come they are in our region without any fear?”
In Chairman Ryu’s eyes, this was an invasion.
But he suppressed his anger and asked Inoguchi, the intelligence chief.
“But how did they come? Well, one or two can come. They can find a way. But as many as 30 people have come into our region. Besides, all of them are very strong, right? In particular, that bastard Asirante!”
“Wll, isn’t it because something like an event or a quest that they could come here? And it must be an event intended to cause great chaos in Japan.”
“Damn it! They must regard us as small fries!’
Chairman Ryu had no choice but to gnash his teeth at his response.
As a matter of fact, lots of guild members under his wing were killed by the Mirae Guild members including Asirante.
Of course, nobody directly from the Mitsuya guild was harmed until now.
However, Chairman Ryu was proud to be top leader of Japan’s “Revival Legend”, so even guild members of subordinate guilds suffering damage was a great affront to him. Besides, the attackers were Koreans who, from his perspective, were being ungrateful and had forgotten Japan’s role in developingKorea as it was today.
“Search for them everywhere! And warn everyone in Japan that if they dare help them, they will not be able to survive anymore not only in Revival Legend but also in reality.”
“Yes, sir!”
“Understood!”
Chairman Ryu Sechi strongly decided to take revenge against them.
Of course, he was not angry simply because Japan was invaded by them.
Obviously, the fact that it was an event or quest made him upset.
In other words, Chairman Ryu Sechi was very upset that they would receive rewards for clearing the quest in Japan. He felt more upset about it than their intrusion into Japan.
So he decided that he must mess with their quest or event by all means because it would be a big shame if he allowed them to gain any rewards inside Japan.
He also felt it very unfair that they would become stronger because of that.
Anyway, at his order, not only the Mitsuya Guild but also all the guilds including those outside its direct control moved quickly to carry out his order because they didn’t want to invite the chairman’s anger and punishment.
One hour later, Inoguchi, who was busy searching for the 30 Mirae Guild members, including Asirante and Chairman Yon, played 20 Memory Bead recordings slowly.
Then he suddenly spat out, “By the way, when did Asirante begin to use that one-handed sword?”
As far as he knew, Asirante’s weapon until now was a staff, which was the most suitable weapon for a wizard.
“How can he be so strong?”
When he thought of Asirante, he recalled only two extraordinary characteristics, namely his tremendous magic attack power and tremendous stamina. That’s why he already regarded Asirante as something like a monster.
As a matter of fact, it was impossible for Asirante to show such extreme abilities under normal circumstances. Except for Asirante, there has never been anyone who has shown such unbelievable abilities until now. As head of the intelligence unit of the Mitsuya Guild, Inoguchi knew that better than anybody else.
However, Inoguchi could not help but question the fact that Asirante was attacking Japanese users and killing them almost immediately with a one-handed sword.
As far as he knew, Asirante was not supposed to show such tremendous physical attack power.
“Oh my God…Can this monster still keep growing stronger, and with another weapon at that?”
Inoguchi shook his head from side to side, startled.
Anyway, Inoguchi kept reviewing the memory bead videos, losing track of time, for it was his job to check if there were any parts of the video that he might have missed.
At Elwood Castle.
“I hear that the Mitsuya Guild has issued an emergency alert throughout Japan, ordering their guild members to search for Asirante and us,” said Sungyop Yu.
“They must be very upset,” I responded with a slight nod.
“You bet. Chairman Ryu Sechi is a very greedy guy. Probably he felt more upset about the fact that we would receive benefits from this chaos rather than the fact that we messed up with them. That’s why he wants to go after us and take revenge.”
Since Myongjin and Mitsuya were rivals in business, I knew a bit about Chairman Ryu Sechi.
So I agreed with Sungyop, but I did not express my feelings.
Instead, I changed the topic.
“By the way, what are we going to do from now on?”
“Don’t you think we should continue doing what we have been doing so far?”
“Good.”
Currently, we have divided the 30 man squad, including myself, into 3 groups of 10 people.
And we were mainly moving in the fields, not the hunting grounds, because we were able to kill lots of Japanese users without entering the enemy camps.
And I didn’t have any objection to it either for two reasons. First, even though I was moving with them, I did not have to complain about a lack of points because I was earning a lot. Second, I didn’t want to upset them because I promised to move with them from the beginning.
“Then shall we go now?”
“Sure.”
So, a total of 10 people, including me, moved together.
“Move to Meknes Castle.”
[You have moved to Meknes Castle.]
So, we moved to Meknes Castle which was home to monsters around level 900.
I guess Team 2 probably moved to the place where level 300 and 600 level monsters appeared.
After moving to the outskirts of Meknes Castle, we began a massacre in earnest again.
Of course, the Mitsuya Guild would come to know we’re hunting in this place, and dispatch their members to track us down, but we didn’t care because we would move faster than them.
