Chapter 448: 300, 400, 500, 600 and 700 (1)

I moved straight from Greenland to the Myongjin Shelter as I had no need to stop by other places.

As soon as I arrived at Myongjin Shelter, I found my family members including my father, brother, sister and some others gathered at the small conference room as if they had already heard about my deeds from Director Sok.

When I sat down, they, including my father, began to praise me.

“Good job.”

“Well done, Juyoung!”

“I’m sorry for always letting you take care of things like this all the time, Juyoung.”

My brother said he felt sorry for me.

But I responded calmly to show them they didn’t have to feel sorry or indebted to me, “Well, somebody had to do it anyway, and I am the best one for the job!”

If someone other than me could have taken care of this matter, I wouldn’t have stepped in, of course. If there was another person who was a perfect fit for this job, they would not have come to me because this was an urgent matter that had to be solved as soon as possible.

Anyway, I took out the memory beads from my pocket because there were a whopping 4,000 deaths. What’s more, considering those who needed lifelong treatment as well as the families of those killed who needed taking care of, the damage of the Myongjin Shelter was much bigger than I originally thought. That’s why I needed to show everybody through the memory beads that I took revenge on them by killing their leader and his subordinates.

“Well, you will see when you reach the end of the video recorded in the memory beads, but a guy named Brandon, who will take over as the new guild leader in place of former leader Oliveira who I killed this time, made an interesting proposal to me. But I rejected it because his intentions were so obvious. I think we should review it once and make a decision later.”

After that, we talked for about 10 minutes more, then left the small meeting room.

That evening, we spent the night solemnly at the memorial park prepared by the Myongjin Shelter for those killed while defending the shelter. Obviously, they sacrificed their lives without hesitation to protect the Myongjin Shelter, so they deserved due respect.

While we were spending the time at the memorial park in a solemn mood, the other players all over the world spent a tense and restless night. I didn’t have to hide my skills in Greenland from anybody, and even let other players all over the world watch it as if to send them a sharp warning. Naturally, the players in Japan, which was pretty close to Korea, had to agonize a lot more than others.

At the Mitsuya Guild headquarters in Tokyo, Japan.

Chairman Ryu Sechi watched Juyoung Hong’s brilliant performances in Sao Paulo, Brazil over and over again.

Then he quietly opened his mouth.

“Alright. I’m sure he won’t be able to use his mighty skill over and over again. Given that his attack boasted of such a formidable power that almost the entire Atlantic Ocean got frozen, it must have a very long cooldown. Despite that, he is simply too strong…”

“…”

“…”

“…”

Nobody reputed his assessment, which reflected his resignation to the stark reality of Juyoung Hong’s almighty power. In their opinion, Juyoung Hong could be called ‘God’ since no human beings could exert such mighty power.

At that moment, Kimoshita, the head of the guild’s Intelligence Department, said, “It seems that Juyoung Hong has obtained something extraordinary that others could not even imagine by participating in the Advance Party event. As you can see from the weapon he is holding in his right hand is emitting a red haze in all directions even when he is not using it. In other words…”

“Do you want to say that the weapon in question is +15 Enhancement, the ultimate stage of enhancement, right?”

“Yes.”

Kimoshita nodded slightly at the chairman’s question.

Then he immediately continued because that was not all he wanted to point out.

“But if you look at the weapon closely, you can see that it is the weapon that he has been using since very early on. And I’ve confirmed it through the memory beads that our guys had filmed when we confronted him several times in the past.”

“Why do you think so?” Chairman Ryu Sechi asked.

But Kimoshita immediately responded casually as if he expected such a question.

“It’s quite unusual for such a strong guy like Juyoung Hong to stick to a weapon from the beginning, and not even change it once. Besides, he has strong financial support from the Myongjin Guild. Nonetheless, he has never changed that weapon. Then there is only one reason we can think of. In other words, that weapon must be myth grade. I’m sure it must also be a weapon that boasts of a huge number of options, so even Juyoung Hong, an ice-type wizard, has given up on a wizard staff to keep it until now. Otherwise, there is no reason for him to stick to that weapon only for such a long time!”

“!”

“!!”

“!!!”

There was silence again in the conference room.

For a man like Juyoung Hong who boasted of so much power and strong support from the Myongjin Guild, it was not strange to see him owning a myth grade weapon, but it’s a totally different story if it is a +15 Enhancement weapon.

“Oh my God…”

Chairman Ryu Sechi lamented before he knew it.

Everybody there wanted to shut their eyes to Juyoung’s myth-grade weapon because they could not believe it at all. Even a legendary grade weapon was really hard to obtain, so a +15 Enhancement myth-grade weapon was regarded as something impossible to obtain. Moreover, the safety enhancement of a myth-grade item was zero.

Nonetheless, they clearly saw a red haze emitting from the +15 Enhancement weapon that he was holding. Besides, he showed his immense strength by freezing much of the Atlantic Ocean with his ice magic. It looked as if a huge meteorite was falling into the middle of the sea. As a result, a huge tsunami that reached hundreds of meters away was also generated. Fortunately, he froze the tsunami in an instant, so there was no significant damage.

At that moment, Kimoshita, the head of the guild’s Intelligence Department, spoke again.

“Originally, Juyoung Hong already was a dominating force in his world. From now on, the world will turn into one thoroughly subject to his control. So much so that anybody who falls out of his favor will face a tragic end. If he decides to use his formidable force against several big cities including Tokyo, Japan is finished once and for all…”

When he finished talking, a heavy silence fell in the meeting room. Their fear was amplified because they had attacked the Myongjin Guild as well as Juyoung Hong without any advance notice previously.

Of course, Japan was not alone in harboring such grave concern.

Juyoung Hong also demonstrated his almighty strength in Brazil, stunning everybody there.

The next day, I woke up early in the morning, had breakfast with my family, and logged on to ‘Revival Legend’ as usual. After that, I headed to the level 1800 hunting ground, the Land of Ancient Spirits.

Puck! Puck! Bang! Bang!

Flop!

Flop!
