"Well done!" Passing by the warrior, Qian Jin patted his head and smiled, "Push a little harder and you may be the chief warrior next year!" The kid just stood there watching Qian Jin walk off. Looking at the broken stick in his hand, he sank into a daze! A drop of cold sweat dripped from his forehead along with his cheek to the ground! "Is he a Demon Warrior? I can’t believe I just challenged a Demon Warrior!"

As Qian Jin left, he shook his head with a wry smile! What was that about? The young man there was just one year younger! Why did he feel like he was just a kid?

Three days had flown by before Qian Jin knew it; he had been busy with arrow production and strength exercises!

This morning, Qian Jin packed all the stuff he needed into the Warrior Dimension. These items included the newly made bows and arrows, throwing knives, clothes and the strange magic hat. While he walked out of his room with Zhanmadao in his hand, he was jolted by the small seeing-off group.

Fabreidis, Gomez Jane, Rosella and Gabriella were all there!

"Well..." Qian Jin scratched his head, "We don’t need to be this serious and formal, right?"

Before he could finish the sentence, Rosella walked to him carrying a backpack. She gently put the bag on his back and whispered while a faint blush came to her cheeks, "I put some local products in there. It will do some help in case someone plays hard on you!"

Qian Jin was at a total loss! Come on! They were going to the Demon-Human Battlefront! Why did Rosella act like they were going out for a picnic? "There is a whole carton of cigarettes. Ten packets in total." Rosella kept urging, "Cigarettes are in great demand in the military camp. Sometimes just one packet can buy you a favor."

Then, Fabreidis stepped forward and patted him on his shoulder, "Do not ever underestimate any Demons, even those Belias with long crooked nose! Each one of them is equally difficult to deal with!"

Then, Gomez Jane took out a necklace-like metal tag and put it around his neck. Immediately, the aroma of orchids floated into his nose. The familiar cold voice slowly sounded, "This is an amulet from the Godly Temple."

Holding the amulet in hand, Qian Jin saw [Prolonged Luck of War] engraved on the facade. It really was the exclusive talisman reserved for a warrior blessed by the temple during the war! They would always wear one when they fought with Demons!

"I will be here, waiting for you to come back..."

While the caring words still rang in his ears, he felt her soft lips gently touch his face and he immediately petrified!

Although Gomez Jane tried to stay cool, she still could not stop a crimson from creeping on her cheeks. A touch of shyness mixed up with the coolness, which made her so beautiful in the rising sun!

"Oh, I suddenly remembered that I have not done the daily exercise yet." Looking up to the sky as if he had not seen the scene, Fabreidis turned and swung himself out of the yard with hands behind his back!

"Bo~"

After fixing Qian Jin’s collar, Rosella also quickly kissed his face just like Gomez Jane had done it. Putting her hands up to his cheeks, she ran out of the backyard with a strong emotion!

The yard was soon left with Qian Jin and Gabriella, who had long buried her face in embarrassment. The hat of her mage robe fell from her shoulder almost to the ground.

When they arrived on campus, Rodriguez had long been waiting there with the team. Except the three, there were only 10 members in the team and they all carried their packages on their backs.

Looking at the empty-handed Qian Jin and Gabriella, Rodriguez couldn’t help sighing again and again. Compared with others who had made full preparation, they seemed like they needed groceries. The instructor secretly decided that this must be improved once they had some money!

"Let’s go!" Rodriguez waved his hand and walked to the front while telling the members, "This time, we are going to the real barracks, where we have to comply with the rules! Don’t act or think as if you are still on campus! It is a battlefield with military laws."

Due to the financial constraints, this time there were no carriages. They could only make the long trek by their bare feet! At first, the members including Durk strode briskly, from time to time they would explore along the way like some curious young kids. With the passage of time, almost everyone lost their original mood till the night! A long journey was much more demanding than the morning exercises on campus!

The world outside of Oakland was not that bustling. There was just wilderness in addition to an official road. In this summer day, surrounded by lush vegetation in the sunset, the open air bore an enormous vitality! As the light gradually faded, Rodriguez decided to encamp on the spot for the night and to move on the next morning.

Since the members had all been equipped with some military knowledge, they immediately picked up on what they could without the command from Rodriguez. Taking two warriors with him, Durk went to search around in case there were any wild beasts or bandits.

While another two or three warriors were busy making a fire. Unfortunately, they failed, ending up with not even a single flame but only some charcoal faces! Seeing this, Rodriguez shook his head again and again! It seemed that they all needed more practice opportunities. It was a powerful lesson of application which is superior to mere knowledge.

At this moment, Gabriella came next to the wood heap! It just took her some gentle fiddling to start the dying firewood immediately into a blazing fire!

The fire makers, as well as Rodriguez were stunned looking at the timid mage who stood back after doing this entire trick. Was this still the same worst mage student that she had been two years ago? Now she had not only Level 5 spiritual power, but she even became so skilled in making a fire? What had she and Qian Jin gone through during...

Huh? Where was Qian Jin?

A warrior took some steamed bread out of his backpack and handed it to the amazing mage, who received it in whispering thanks. But unlike those warriors, she didn’t start to eat but sat and waited quietly!

Rodriguez found it had become more and more difficult to figure out what was on the girl’s mind! After the long journey, she should have been tired and hungry! But what was she waiting for? In a little while, the answer came back.

Carrying two plump pheasants in hand and a dead wolf on the shoulder, Qian Jin came into sight and stunned everybody that had half-eaten bread in hand! With a small knife, the skilled hunter cut the wolf open and pulled out all those disgusting internal organs while the girl also immediately started dealing with the pheasants at the same time! After the feathers and guts were done, the half-finished material was then cut into pieces and stuck into a stick. Sitting by the fire, Gabriella started the last process, roasting!

Salt and spices were gently sprinkled on the meat, which sizzled softly from time to time as the chef carefully turned it so that the fire could comfort every spot! The roasted meat had never been some luxury. Everyone could afford it. even the extremely poor. So it would not cause much desire during normal days of life. But in this time, at this place, it was so much better than the cold, tasteless bread with pure water!

All warriors were attracted to the meat and they gathered to the fire unconsciously. Obviously, so much food was not just prepared for the two chefs but for all the companions!

Rodriguez looked at Qian Jin and Gabriella with great curiosity. They were not the same! The two years changed them a lot! But it was also difficult to tell where the differences were! First of all, where did Qian Jin get the hunting tool?

And the calmness! Rodriguez found out that other students, even in the face of food, would get nervous and excited in terms of instincts! But there was no tension or excitement on Qian Jin’s face, which could only be seen on experienced warriors! How could he be that mature, calm and unhurried?

The sun completely disappeared and the night once again ruled the whole land! The night field was somewhat scary! The warriors were all on guard while they devoured the delicious food. There was not a single light in this extending plain except the bonfire. The wind blew over, bringing along a distant wolf howl, which seemed so close, yet so far!

"Qian Jin..." Rodriguez took the meat from Gabriella and asked, "Where did you learn these skills?"

Looking at the food in hand, Qian Jin shrugged as if it was no big deal. "Two years out there can teach a man how to take care of himself."

"Tell us about it," said Rodríguez, "Tell me what you have gone through in the past two years."

Everybody moved towards Qian Jin unconsciously. They all watched him with some eagerness on their faces.

"The past two years..." Looking up at the sky without a star, Qian Jin fell into a reverie. He selectively and slowly related some stories. He told about the Wilfred story but skipped the Energy Stone Lode. He mentioned the Four Seasons Valley, but without the Supreme Wind and Cloud Power Training Scroll and the Master! A hermit who hid the map in a book was obviously unwilling to be exposed to the outer world! Even leaving out some facts, the adventure still aroused an array of exclaim! And they didn’t go to bed until Qian Jin gave an encore after dinner!

They all fell into a somber sleep after the long journey in a short time! Six days later, they were not far away from the Reventment Battlefield! The Zence Empire’s Reventment Battlefield!
