With no time to waste, Qian Jin grabbed his Zhanmadao, bowed at Akenash, and rushed towards the gate of the village.
In a bush that was more than a meter tall located right outside that gate, murderous spirits and a shadow of blades spurted out alongside the blood.
"Player Qian Jin, your gaming time is ..."
As the time was up, Qian Jin opened his eyes and left the Endless World. He stretched his sore body and thought, "I was pressured by my little master Akenash and didn’t even get the chance to get heal up the injuries on the right arm at master Adams’ place. Looks like I will have to make some potions myself.
"Qian Jin... Qian Jin....."
Marc Gavin shouted as he hammered the door to Qian Jin’s room.
Qian Jin opened the door and saw Marc Gavin with a brand new luxurious suit in his hand.
"Uncle, you..." Qian Jin was a little surprised.
"What about me? Aren’t you going to the Blacksmith Union to take on the role of their president?" Marc Gavin said as he pushed the suit into Qian Jin’s arms. "At least you are from our Torrent Battle Fort, you have to dress up and look like a president."
The beauties also walked out of their own rooms after being woken up by Marc Gavin’s loud voice. After seeing that Qian Jin didn’t go to their "rivals" room last night, they all relaxed and walked up.
The four girls then took the suit from Qian Jin and helped Qian Jin to put it on.
Marc Gavin stared at the scene and couldn’t help but to feel envious. He zapped his mouth and said, "Damn, you make me jealous. I’m can survive without a woman, but I’m very envious of you after seeing this."
Qian Jin looked at the four girls around him and thought, "Not bad. My current life is good and I would be jealous too if I was in Uncle Gavin’s shoes."
"I can’t watch it anymore, I’m getting a jealous vibe. I need a woman, I need a woman!" Marc Gavin shouted as he turned around and left.
Qian Jin shrugged his shoulders and laughed. Marc Gavin was indeed not good looking. In fact, he would be considered a little ugly by the common standards. On top of that, he was very rough around the edges. Qian Jin thought to himself, "What kind of woman would like him? I would need to talk to Uncle Gavin and tell him to pay more attention to the details."
"You think he doesn’t have a woman?" Gomez Jane rolled her eyes as she fixed Qian Jin’s collar. "He has a woman, she is a demon..." She murmured.
"A woman? A Demon Woman?" Qian Jin looked at Lucifer Lucy and found the demon princess in shock as well. The news of a president of Warrior Union in a big city in Zence having a loved one in the Demon Empire... this would be an explosive news.
"Don’t look at me like that." Lucifer Lucy fixed Qian Jin’s sleeves and said, "I won’t use that information..."
Qian Jin was interested. He looked at Gomez Jane for more details.
Gomez Jane fixed the suit’s shoulder and said, "She is a demon."
Then she turned around and walked away as if she didn’t want to talk about it anymore.
"Really?" Qian Jin looked at the direction where Marc Gavin disappeared and sighed. In the stories told by traveling poets, there were love stories between humans and demons. The crazier ones were the ones between the demon princess and human prince, and the ending was tragic.
Also, there were love stories between demon princes and human princes, as well as love stories between demon king and human emperor. Of course, all the endings were bad.
The endings to all loved stories between human and demons were tragic. A human and a demon couldn’t live happily after, this went from a line in the stories into a real guideline.
Qian Jin started to understand why a successful warrior like Marc Gavin still didn’t have a woman or a wife. After all, his love was sinful under the current circumstance.
"Be careful on the road." Rosella handed over a cup of tea.
Qian Jin took the cup and looked at Rosella. He suddenly patted his head and remembered that he wanted to give the gold to her but never got the chance. Now they were at the core of Torrent Battle Fort, no one dared to rob them here.
"Rosella, I have some money here. It would probably help with the business."
"That’s ok." Rosella waved her hands in front of her chest and said, "The family still has some liquidated assets and we are not in need of money. You can keep..."
Bam!
More than a dozen gold bricks fell onto the grasses outside the house.
Surprise appeared in Rosella’s eyes. "Gold bricks? More than a dozen gold bricks?" She was stunned.
Bam...Bam...
Rosella covered her mouth that was now wide open due to the shock with her hand. There were more than sixty gold bricks on the ground.
Bam! Bam! Bam!
Rosella covered her mouth with both of her hands and Gomez Jane’s eyes were also attracted to the gold bricks.
Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam!
Like raindrops, the gold bricks continued to fall onto the ground. As Qian Jin grabbed more gold bricks from his Warrior Dimension, Rosella’s bright eyes opened wider and wider. Even though she had seen a lot of money before, she had never seen this much money.
Gomez Jane was not standing in the room anymore. She walked out of the house and stared at the gold bricks that kept popping out of Qian Jin’s Warrior Dimension.
Even if a young warrior had a huge family background, he or she would only have a lot of high-grade equipment and never this much money.
How was Qian Jin a few years ago? Gomez Jane still remembered. Even if Qian Jin made money from fixing Warrior Weapons, this was too much money, it was faster than robbing a bank.
More than millions of gold coins. Gomez Jane couldn’t keep her relaxed expression anymore. When facing this amount of money, even the leader of a big family would be shocked! That was the power of money.
"Qian Jin..." Rosella covered her mouth and asked with an uneasy expression, "You... you didn’t rob some big family... did you?"
"Haha..." Lucifer Lucy straightened her back and laughed out loud. "He did rob someone... but not a living being. He robbed the ancestor of our Lucifer Family, Lucifer Nihan."
"Lucifer Nihan? Gomez Jane understood. "In the legends, that traitor of Demons acted as a bandit for a long time. Looks like he didn’t have the chance to spend all of his fortunes and Qian Jin got lucky." She thought.
"That’s most of what I have." Qian Jin looked at the few gold bricks in his Warrior Dimension and said, "I don’t know if this would help you with our business."
"Yes, a lot!"
Rosella nodded as she covered half of her cheek. Although she had some liquid cash on hand, it wasn’t enough to expand the business with all the leads she got from the influential figures at last night’s party. With all this money, a lot of plans she had could be actually executed.
"It’s all yours." Qian Jin scratched his hand and said. "I’m going to go to the Blacksmith Union now."
"No... I..."
Rosella wanted to tell Qian Jin that it was more than she needed, but Gomez Jane stopped her. With a confused expression, she looked at this powerful woman who could go on a rampage anytime.
"Just use it." Gomez Jane lightly kicked the gold bricks as she said, "Do you really need to separate what you guys have?"
Rosella quickly blushed as she looked at Gomez Jane’s face. She nodded. "You are right."
Lucifer Lucy, on the other hand, was curious as Gabriella hadn’t left yet. Lucifer Lucy knew the source of the money, but it seemed that the timid female mage was also not surprised by it.
"Aren’t you surprised? That’s more than a million gold coins."
Lucifer Lucy got close to Gabriella and looked at the beautiful face under the big mage hat.
Gabriella lightly shook her head, and her big mage hat moved with it. Gomez Jane’s attention was drawn. "I was even shocked by this amount of gold bricks, but why is this girl who is supposed to be shocked the most didn’t react?" She thought.
"Qian Jin is capable of creating any kinds of a miracle!"
Gabriella looked up, her eyes were filled with confidence. Ever since she met Qian Jin, he had always been risking his life to fight and create miracles. Compared to the other miracles he was able to achieve, this was nothing in her mind.
Gomez Jane nodded. She knew that this girl had far more confidence in Qian Jin that she did.
Rosella bent over and tried to lift up a heavy gold brick. However, it slipped and hit the ground.
Bam!
Qian Jin’s shoulder hit someone and that person was knocked back and sat on the ground.
"Why are you in such a hurry?" Qian Jin bent over and helped this person to stand up. "Are you ok?" He asked.
"Family leader." The employee of Roll Family’s business got up and bowed, his expression looked anxious.
Qian Jin was a bit surprised by how he was addressed "Family leader? Oh! Although I haven’t married Rosella, everyone knows about it. Didn’t know people called me that." He thought.
But he then quickly moved aside and said, "You have some urgent matter? Business first, go ahead."
"Thank you, family leader."
The person quickly rushed to the Torrent Battle Fort.
Qian Jin lightly shrugged his shoulder as he thought back on it. It seemed like there was some urgent matter, but he didn’t know anything about business. He just hoped that the gold bricks he unloaded could be of help.
"Business..." Qian Jin murmured as he thought about this familiar word that he didn’t know much about. "It probably can only be handled by Rosella..."
"President Rosella...President Rosella..."
The person was stunned by the ton of gold bricks on the ground, but he then shook his head forcefully as he said while trying to catch his breath. "President Rosella, it is bad! The caravans that headed for the Demon Territory disappeared again!"
Bam!
The gold brick that was being lifted by Rosella again dropped on the ground again. As the "bam" noise resonated in the yard, she looked at her subordinate.
"Disappeared again?" Rosella was stunned. They were the second group that disappeared on the Frontier, stuff like this never happened before.
After all, the bandits on the Frontier organized themselves to make money. Regularly, they would send some merchants back to ask for ransom.
But now, two groups of caravans had disappeared without any news! And no one was sent back to ask for ransom; it was very strange and different."
"How could it happen?" Rosella lightly rubbed her temples that were in pain. She looked at Gomez Jane and asked, "Jane, should I ask Qian Jin..."
After giving it some thought, Gomez Jane shook her head and said: "Qian Jin went to the Blacksmith Union, so let’s not disturb him for now. Let’s get some mercenaries to the Frontier to get some information first. We can tell Qian Jin about it when he comes back."
Rosella sighed again. She did send out mercenary to the Frontier when the last group disappeared. However, those mercenaries also disappeared completely after setting foot onto the Frontier. It was probably useless to send out more mercenaries, but they still had to wait for Qian Jin to come back.
"This is the Blacksmith Union?"
Qian Jin jumped off of his horse and looked at the gate with a huge forging hammer hanging before it.
Inside the yard, there was a statue of a half-naked man looking down at a piece of red iron with a huge forging hammer raised above his head.
"This?"
Qian Jin’s body shivered a little as he saw it. The statue in front of him wasn’t delicate, it looked like someone had sculpted it with a few strikes. However, this statue captured a spirit.
It looked a little ... a little like how Uncle Blake waved the hammer and forged.
The sensation was very light, almost non-existent.
If he didn’t see Uncle Blake forge numerous time, if he didn’t learn the Eighteen Blade Elevating Strikes, he wouldn’t be sure of it.
No, wait... Qian Jin looked at a piece of glass by the gate and measured with his hands. "I should say that this movement looks like me... it is far from Uncle Blake." He thought.
Orville. A name was engraved on the figure. Maybe regular people didn’t know about this name, but all blacksmiths knew about it.
As a blacksmith, it was ok to not know the names of all the past emperors, but it was unforgivable if he or she didn’t know about Orville.
"Orville?" Qian Jin gasped. This was the only God-tier Blacksmith Master who appeared in the Blacksmith Union. There was a statue of Orville at the Central Blacksmith Union in the Holy Capital that was made by a sculpture grandmaster and the one in front of Qian Jin must be a knock-off version. However, the knock-off version contained a certain spirit. It gave people the impulse of wanting to experience forging.
The member of the Blacksmith Union who was guarding the gate was stunned by Qian Jin’s appearance. "Where did this person come from? Why is he dressed like this? Is he going to a party? Came to the wrong place? But wait, it is too early for parties..." He thought.
As Qian Jin stepped into the union, this member finally woke up from the shock and stopped Qian Jin. "Mister, who are you looking for..." He asked.
As he said that, this member observed Qian Jin closely as he thought, "Why are you here? Could, could it be that you are here to take the role of the president? I didn’t hear anything about the current president stepping down tho..."
"I’m here for Mr. Yunxing Huisheng." Qian Jin lightly bowed and said, "Lastly, the president invited me to come over and chat."
The member curled his lips. "So you are here to visit the president? Why dress so formally? Ah, too young. He must have limited knowledge about formality... this is too fancy." He thought.
"Oleta, what is going on?"
A blacksmith walked out from the inner buildings with a hammer in his hand, the heat around him told everyone that he was working beside the furnace.
"Mr. Xian Qiang." Oleta turned around and quickly bowed at the Tenth Manager of Blacksmith Union, level 9 Forge Master Xian Qiang. "This young man said he was invited by President Yunxing last night."
Xian Qiang rubbed his dry eyes; after working overnight on a piece of armor, he was really tired. "Is what this kid said true?" He thought. "He looks like a warrior... trying to meet the president with this excuse? There are more than a thousand people coming here with the same excuse every year"
"What? A new trick? Dressed like this?" The expression on Xian Qiang’s face froze, and the words he was going to say to get rid of this young man stuck in his throat.
"This... that is president’s personal hammer – Yunxing Hammer!"
Xian Qiang opened his eyes big as he stared at the little hammer hanging by Qian Jin’s waist. The small hammer was an accessory that President Yunxing never left without. It was something that the president’s master gave him as a present when he advanced to a Forge Master. Even the president’s direct disciple Ray Guamin didn’t receive it.
Qian Jin looked down at the small hammer-shaped accessory and said, "This? President Yunxing gave it to me last night."
"Gave..."
Xian Qiang felt like his head was hammered by someone, and all he could see were rotating stars above his head. "What happened last night?" He thought. "I only worked hard on my project, but it seemed like a lot had happened."
"What happened? Why were you given this?" Xian Qiang wanted to grab Qian Jin by the collar and ask a ton of question. He was at least the Tenth Manager at the union and he didn’t know about the big event.
"Can I go in now?" Qian Jin asked.
The two men moved aside and Qian Jin walked straight in.
The Yunxing Hammer was something that the current president treasured! Since the master of the president passed away, the Yunxing Hammer become one of the most important pieces of memorabilia.
"It would be gifted to other people?" Xian Qiang didn’t know what to say.
Oleta, on the other hand, was curious at Xian Qiang’s surprise. He shook his head at Qian Jin and didn’t know why this manager beside him was surprised. "What is so special? Even if the president gave him something as a present, he doesn’t need to come here dressed like that." He thought.
Oleta continued to shake his head. To him, it looked this young man dressed like he was here to accept the position of the president... it was a bit ridiculous.
After Qian Jin got through the yard, he heard a ton of metal colliding noises. However, the blacksmiths closer to the yard didn’t even pay any attention to Qian Jin, they were all focused on their own work.
There were various counters at the central building in the union and each counter had a path beside it with a symbol.
The symbols included blades, swords, shields, helmets, gauntlets...
There was a man sitting inside each counter. There weren’t any beautiful girls who acted as receptionists. However, Qian Jin was able to tell that these men knew a little about forging. They were able to explain everything to the buyers more clearly and more professionally.
The expression of those men all changed after seeing Qian Jin. "What is this? Going to a party?" They thought.
Qian Jin sensed all the stares and he tried his best to calmly nod at them. However, he was secretly complaining, "Uncle Marc is really bad at fashion. He is going off the old rich man style. Compared to the girls, it is like the heaven and the earth."
"Looks like..." Qian Jin murmured as he paced himself, "I need more help from the girls when it comes to fashion."
After the central building, there was an even bigger yard. A lot of blacksmiths were forging here and the noises were very loud.
Qian Jin suddenly stopped walking at the sight of a young blacksmith who was about twenty years old.
That young blacksmith sensed it and looked back at the direction of the stare, but he was stunned by how the man dressed.
"Lee Torte, you are messing around again. President Yunxing just promoted you to our Second Outer Shop from the worst shop in the union, First Outer Shop, based on your talent. If you messed around and hammer like that more, I will kick you out."
Qian Jin looked in the direction of that coarse voice that wasn’t better than Marc Gavin and saw a man who was six feet tall. That man had a healthy brown toned skin and the sweat that slid down his muscular body made his skin shinier. Just by looking at the forging hammer in his hand, one could tell that he was working hard. One side of the hammer was completely red as it made fast and repeated contact with burning metals.
Lee Torte picked up a yellow towel beside him and wiped the sweat off of his head. The towel didn’t just wipe off the sweat, it also moved his long hair that was covering his face to the back of his head. There was a powerless expression on his semi-handsome face, and his blue crystal-like eyes were looking at the man with the loud voice.
"I didn’t mess around." Lee Torte said in a weak tone. "I just feel like the sounds made by that style sounded a lot better..."
"You want to talk back at me?" The man picked his ears and said, "How can you just hammer like that because of the sound? Forging is a serious matter, how can you make good projects with that attitude?"
Lee Torte found a tightrope to tie his wet long hair at the back of his head. With a childish smile on his face, he murmured, "But sometimes my way of forging get better results than yours."
"What?" The man picked his ears again: "What did you just say? I’m telling you this for your own good. That is a bad habit. If you are forging a Saint Weapon in the future that this bad habit kicked in, it would be ruined! Especially your last two hammering, why did you only raise the hammer half the way?"
"Also, your speed of the strike..."
"That’s right, Torte picked up all these bad habits in the First Outer Shop."
"Yeah, if those habits don’t change, you would never be able to go into the Third Outer Shop and become a real Forge Master."
"Yeah, President Yunxing is just too kind. He only moved Torte into our Second Outer Shop because he is an orphan..."
"With this attitude, he could never be a Forge Master."
The people stopped working on their project and started to chat among themselves with quiet voices that were just enough to be heard by Lee Torte. Most of them had envy and jealousy in their eyes.
Lee Torte was the only person who was promoted to the Second Outer Shop from the First Outer Shop in years by the president. But fortunately to the other blacksmiths, this young man had bad habits, and they were able to talk about that to make themselves feel better.
"Lee Torte, look..." The man with the loud voice said with a sad expression on his face. "We are all worried about you."
"Worried?" Lee Torte bit his lips and lowered his head, he looked at the ground and didn’t want to argue. After all, he felt like his way of forging was the most pleasant.
"Hey, I mean..." Qian Jin spoke and broke the silence. However, his fancy clothes immediately attract everyone’s attention, and some people even laughed out loud.
"Dressed like going to a party?"
"One doesn’t even need to dress this fancy for a party."
"Look at that, it felt like he is someone who is from the countryside and just got rich."
"Yeah, his clothes are just too tasteless."
Qian Jin lowered his head and looked at the clothes. He smiled and thought to himself, "Damn you are lucky! If Marc Gavin heard that you all just said, he would get mad send all of you to the hospital."
Qian Jin rubbed his nose. Although he didn’t agree with Marc Gavin’s fashion choices, he was the one who was wearing it.
"I think, what that young man just did..." Qian Jin thought for a few seconds and continued, "is better than he was doing before."
All the blacksmiths in the shop sneered as they looked at Qian Jin with a strange expression. "This man is obviously not a member. Why is he speaking for Lee Torte? He thinks his words are more important with those clothes on?" They thought.
"Continue to enjoy the fun of forging." Qian Jin patted Lee Torte’s shoulder and said, "I think President Yunxing promoted you because you are able to enjoy the process of forging."
Sneers, Lee Torte looked at Qian Jin with a surprised expression as sneered came from everyone else. "This man looks like he is the same age as me, but he is talking to me like an elder... But somehow I don’t feel irritated by it, and I’m a little touched... what is happening?" he thought.
"Forging in this set of fancy clothes..." Qian Jin looked at what he was wearing again and sighed. He didn’t say anything, but he didn’t picked up a hammer on the ground, weighted it, and walked toward the anvil and the forge that Lee Torte was using.
All the blacksmiths looked at this scene in surprise. "What is this young man trying to do? Forge? He knows how to forge? A man who dresses like a bum knows how to forge? You must be kidding me! Who does he think he is? A Forge Master? A Forge Grandmaster?" They thought.
Qian Jin adjusted the strength of the fire with one of his hand on the bellow. Since he was here to become the new president, he had to show what he was capable of. It was not a lot of difference between the warriors’ circle and blacksmiths’ circle, more ability equaled higher acceptance.
Qian Jin casually threw a few charcoals into the furnace and readjusted the temperature of the fire. He was almost sure that President Yunxing didn’t want to just give him the position, but he had to earn it. President Yunxing could convince everyone and give him the role of the president, but he had to become the leader in everyone’s mind himself.
The fire got hotter and hotter, and Qian Jin took out a piece of hot iron with a pair of tongs and placed it on the anvil. Then, the hammer in his other hand struck down.
The metal-colliding noise was as loud as thunder, and the bright firework-like sparks spurted in all direction. Before everyone could cover their ears, the hammer struck the iron for the second time. The iron was just like a sponge filled with water. Every time it was struck, sparks would spurt out instead of water.
Bam! Bam! Bam!
The forging noise sounded like war drums, and the blacksmiths stared at Qian Jin in shock. "This man was still using the tongs to hold down the iron before, but he is using a hammer in each hand to smack the iron around like a ball? How does he do it?" They all thought.
The red iron was bouncing around in between the two hammers, like a beautiful butterfly that was flying in between two nets, it was just not being captured.
"This..."
Xian Qiang stood by the entrance to the shop and looked at Qian Jin with his eyes wide open. He was chasing after Qian Jin because he wanted to ask the young man what happened last night, but he saw him forging in the Second Outer Shop. "He is not using a pair of tongs but two hammers?" He was shocked.
"What is this?" Xian Qiang swallowed his drools while witnessing this. "I’m at least a great Forge Master, but I couldn’t do it. This is no longer forging... it is an art? Or is it more like a circus trick? Or a new realm?" He thought.
Xian Qiang blinked as he felt like he couldn’t see the anvil clearly and he was hallucinating. He felt like he was no longer watching that young man, but rather President Yunxing... No! Rather, it felt like the statue by the gate of the union became alive!
The small anvil and two ordinary forging hammers. At that moment, even the ridiculous clothes on Qian Jin’s body looked like it was meant to be. Qian Jin gave off a grandmaster presence.
Qian Jin wasn’t fast, in fact, Xian Qiang was sure that he saw every single move of Qian Jin clearly. However, Xian Qiang couldn’t understand how Qian Jin controlled the iron so fine that the iron couldn’t bounce out of his two hammers.
Xiang Qiang quickly shook his head. It was hard to control the angle and the force of the hammering to this degree, but the young man in front of him was able to do so easily. "Where is he from? Central Union? Or the secret disciple of President Yunxing?" He thought to himself.
"That last is probably right." He nodded. "That’s the only explanation to as why Yunxing Hammer in on him."
Tink!
After the last metal-colliding noise disappeared, the iron was placed back onto the anvil. Xian Qiang wiped the sweat off of his forehead subconsciously. The sweat wasn’t caused by the heat of the fire, but rather than it was the cold sweat that was caused by the shock.
Zero... zero mistakes.
Xian Qiang was far better than the blacksmiths around him, and he was able to tell what happened. "Seems like there is not a single mistake. Am I hallucinating? Why do I feel like this young man is the God-tier Blacksmith Master Orville?"
"Pur...Purified Iron??" Lee Torte gasped after seeing the metal under Qian Jin’s hammer.
However, the blacksmiths in the Second Outer Court were still shocked by Qian Jin’s moves and they didn’t even hear what Lee Torte said. Qian Jin’s forging style was so above their level that it was intoxicating.
Purified Iron! Xian Qiang’s body shook. "Forging out Purified Iron this way? It is just too much! How old is he? Am I really the dumb one here? But did President Yunxing tell me that I’m talented?"
Qian Jin ignored other people around him and turned to Lee Torte. "How do you feel about that?" He asked.
Lee Torte’s eyes shone like the bright stars at night. "Very interesting... it is so fun... it is like I’m hearing an orchestra playing music."
Qian Jin then lifted the hammer and struck down at the Purified Iron again, and it jumped into the air.
Lee Torte fell into a state of deep thinking. With his head resting in his palms, he was silent. One minute, two minutes, three minutes, ten minutes, half an hour...
Qian Jin stood there and waited by the crackling fire, but Xian Qiang didn’t know what was going on. "What is happening? Why did he stop after one strike?" He thought.
All of the blacksmiths didn’t know what was happening too, and they all waited with Qian Jin quietly.
"I think I got a better understanding of it." Lee Torte walked up to the anvil and struck onto the Purified Iron with the hammer.
"Wait, something is off..." Lee Torte thought again, "What is wrong?"
Qian Jin, on the other hand, smiled as he looked at the Purified Iron. "60%..." He thought. "Not bad, getting 60% what I just did on the first try."
Tink! Qian Jin struck the metal again, and Lee Torte nodded as he did what Qian Jin just did.
"80%." Qian Jin patted Lee Torte’s shoulder as he said, "Continue with what you are doing. Don’t listen to them unless you want to be just average for the rest of your life."
"Average?" All the blacksmiths in the shop got mad, but they couldn’t defend themselves after looking at the Purified Iron that Qian Jin just created. "Doesn’t matter if it is skill or result, what the young man has is probably even better than Manager Xian Qiang." They thought.
"Thanks." Lee Torte stopped Qian Jin and said with an earnest expression on his face. "Thank you for teaching me, but I can’t accept you as my master. I want to become the disciple of President Yunxing."
Qian Jin laughed. "I didn’t expect to see such an interesting person here. Come with me, I’m going to see President Yunxing anyway."
Lee Torte looked at Qian Jin with curiosity. If anyone who was at his age ranged talked to him like an elder, he would find it funny. However, he didn’t feel that way at all about the young man in front of him.
Xian Qiang shook his head. "Damn, he is impressive. Although he is not old, his temperament made people look up to him, the presence of a real master." He thought.
Although this set of fancy clothes covered up his temperament, it added to his presence as he truly demonstrated his domination.
"This kid... he is not becoming a manager, is he?" Xian Qiang felt like he was getting somewhere with his guesses. "Otherwise, why is he dressed like that today? If he becomes a manager, he could become a Vice-President or even the President in the future." He thought.
"Manager Xian Qiang, I finally found you."
"Manager Camill, what is going on?"
Xian Qiang turned around and looked at the Fourth Manager of the Union Camill. The man’s thin and short figure was quite a contrast to others.
"Yeah, Vice-President Ray Guamin is looking for you."
"Ray Guamin?" Xian Qiang frowned. "Although he is the disciple of the president, I just don’t like him. Why does he want to calculate and plan stuff? Why not just be a simple blacksmith? If he likes those things so much, why doesn’t he go to the military?" He thought.
Lee Torte was following Qian Jin, and he was receiving some of the stares as well. Qian Jin’s fancy clothes was a big contrast to blacksmiths’ work uniform.
After walking through a lot of shops and buildings, Qian Jin got a better understanding of the Blacksmith Union. There were a total of ten shops. The first five shops were technically yards. They were open and didn’t have roofs. It was much better for blacksmiths to discuss and talk with each other.
The blacksmiths who worked in the latter shops were all Forge Masters. They had their own little workshops, and these small individual workshops formed the bigger shop.
