Chapter 184 - Steel Box
Chapter 184 - Steel Box
Khal just remained silent, waiting patiently to see what will happen.
After a moment of silence, Jas sighed upon seeing all the confused stares and said, "No matter how hard you all try to think of any other possibilities, what Khal told us is the truth, no question about it."
"But such a Talent... I have never heard about it before!" exclaimed Connor with shock.
"Me neither.", nodded Jas and proceeded on saying, "But because more and more Talents are appearing on this world, it is not impossible for a Talent such as Khal's to appear, right?"
Connor hearing this shut his mouth and after pondering for a while nodded; he knew that what Jas said was right, no question about it.
"Well, now that this question had been solved, you can go," said Jas to Khal on his side.
"And what about Andre?" questioned Khal, seemingly worried by Andre who was still buried inside the Arena's wall.
"Oh, him? He is a strong individual, he will be perfectly fine. I will take care of him personally." replied Raffin to Khal and walked toward Andre.
Khal watching as Raffin dragged Andre's body out of the debris without any sign of mercy, he frowned slightly but didn't say anything.
Instead, he bowed at each and every teacher around him, and walked away.
Sometime later, when he was outside the building, Khal could finally take a mouthful of fresh air and sigh with relief.
'That was tiring as hell!' thought Khal, but soon noticed several figures walking toward him from the side thus smiled and waved his hand.
"You guys have waited for me?" Khal smiled widely once Liza, Nate, Merlyn, Marx, and Asur stood before him, all looking at him in silence.
Noticing their strange behavior, Khal frowned, "What?"
Liza's slender and delicate brows twitched and said, "That is exactly what we should ask from you. What happened to you? Why did you attack your Master? You acted like someone without any rational thinking!"
"Oh... About that..." Khal smiled wryly and explained to his friends what happened.
Once he reached the end of his story he shrugged and said, "And this is what happened. But luckily nothing dire happened and I am safe and sound, right?"
Nate watching as Khal smiled widely didn't know whether to laugh or cry as it seemed Khal had no clue at all what could have happened with him.
'This guy... He either doesn't care about the consequences or is simply blind bold.'
After talking for a bit more, suddenly Marx stepped a little forth and asked, "Little Junior, do you wish to hunt for Beasts? We were about to go, but because we were notified about your battle we decided to wait and ask you afterward."
Khal glanced at Marx and after pondering for a while nodded and looked at Liza and Nate before asking, "What about you guys, do you wanna join?"
"I'm sorry but I will pass it this time. I have a few things to do." shook his head Nate and after waving a goodbye he walked away.
"And you?" asked Khal from Liza.
"I fear I have to decline your offer too, I must attend for practice with my Master as I still haven't perfected my new technique."
"That's okay, then next time." smiled Khal and after chatting for a bit more with Liza he set off with Marx and the other to hunt for Beasts.
The day went by in a flash, and after hunting for Beasts in several places such as the Shadow Woods, Moon Mountain, and even on the outskirts far away for wild Beasts, Khal went back to Blade Mountain.
"I was able to increase my units to 1335, but I could have pushed it higher if I would have been all alone," said Khal to himself, and after crossing his legs on the ground began to consume Essence Particles.

The next morning arrived quick, and after consuming 17 Essence Particles in one single night, Khal stood up and went to the Blacksmithing Department.
"You kid finally arrived! I thought you would never come!" Bazz grinned at Khal, a piece of chuck already prepared for Khal to forge.
Khal saw this and could smile slightly, knowing he won't have a great time today either.
Picking up the hammer and starting to forge the piece of metal that seemed to be an ordinary alloy, Khal concentrated and gave his best to see and show just how much he has improved.
After several hours of straight hell, Khal stroke his metal for one last time and put his hammer down.
"Done... I did quite well..." mumbled Khal as he looked at the perfectly square piece of black metal, that was tempered to perfection.
Even though he didn't use any type of technique or skill, it seemed he had done well.
Bazz who stood on the side and examined Khal's every move until this moment now walked closer and picked the metal up.
Inspecting it with narrowed eyes, Khal could hear only hummed sounds from Bazz, unknown what he was thinking. Only after several silent minutes later did he put the iron back where it was and turn around, seemingly looking for something.
"Did... Did I made a mistake?" Khal seemed to be worried as he has never seen Bazz so quiet and serious, thus felt maybe he really done a mistake he didn't notice.
However, no matter if he asked that question or either another, Bazz didn't answer him, not after he took out a box from below the desk and put it before Khal.
The box was small, almost a foot big in both width, height, and length. It was made out of black steel, while several strange carvings he never saw before were carved on its surface.
Khal seemed to be confused upon seeing the box and glanced at Bazz, but he just simply stared back at him without any intention of speaking.
'So you want me to open this?' thought Khal to himself and even though he was confused he proceeded to open it.
However, the moment he opened the lid of the box, Khal's brows lowered into a frown and glanced back up at Bazz.
"What is this?"
