Chapter 32: Blade Mountain
Hearing what Jas just said, Khal could only nod slightly and look around with a calm expression.
“Yes, as I have noticed, the Essence Particles’ density here is much bigger than anywhere else.”, answered Khal, but naturally that was only a lie.
He had no clue at all what Essence Particles were. He just said the amount here was more than normal because of what the voice said to him the moment he stepped into the cave.
“Oh?”
However, Jas hearing his reply looked amazed instantly.
“So you have even found out that it was not only Essence but instead Essence Particles? You truly have sharp senses young one.”
Listening to this Khal just grinned widely and stayed silent, but deep inside he was sweating like crazy and praying for the gods above.
Naturally, he didn’t have a single clue what was the difference between Essence and Essence Particles, so he made sure not to talk at all.
Jas seeing that Khal remained silent just smiled too and waved his hand, signaling Khal that he won’t ask any more questions.
“Well, never mind. From now on, Blade Mountain is your property, but only until you don’t lose the right to own it.”
“So this place is called Blade Mountain. I see.”, thought Khal with a nod, but the next second frowned.
“Only until I don’t lose the right to own it? What should that mean?”
However, Jas didn’t answer him, but just simply ignored him.
Instead, he turned around and glancing back above his shoulder, he waved his hand and said, “Follow me. The Announcement will start soon.”
With that, Jas began to walk out of the cave, making Khal to follow him from behind in silence in an instant.
After leaving the place through the space crack, Khal realized that a whole day has passed since the enrollment day, and it was already the day after it.
The previous Moon Academy which had only a small number of students when Khal arrived, this time was filled with youngsters almost everywhere.
However, the only difference that told Khal that they were new students was their appearance. While the students who were already inside Moon Academy for years wore a unique outfit until then the freshmen didn’t.
They just wore simple and normal clothes, just as he did currently.
While he was walking behind Jas closely, Khal noticed that everyone was going in the same direction as they were and looked a bit surprised.
“Why did Jas come personally to take me? Is this the kind of benefit that only V.I.P members get?”
However, what Khal didn’t know that it was not a benefit nor a coincidence. Jas came to find him on his own accord and not because he was special.
He could call himself lucky instead that he came because if not, he would have been late from the announcement day, that was 100% sure.
No, Jas simply came to find him because he was curious.
After demonstrating his power, he wanted to find out more about Khal but found out that he instantly fell asleep the moment he arrived at Blade Mountain.
He simply ignored the fact that in that place refining and cultivating one’s Talent and Essence was 2 or 3 times faster than with normal means.
The moment Jas saw Khal sleeping in there soundlessly, he didn’t know whether he should laugh or cry. Instead, he decided to examine Khal from closer, in the hope to figure out a few of his secrets during his sleep.
The way he made his presence hidden from someone like him even though he was already on the Eighth Cultivation Stage made Jas quite curious.
But just like the last time, the moment he looked at Khal’s body from the side, he still wasn’t able to guess how he did it.
His presence was fully hidden.
It was like he had no Talent at all and just like the rumors said, he was simply like an ordinary teenager with no presence. This fact made Jas quite stunned and surprised at the same time.
Thinking back the moment as he used his strange Talent to avoid his attempts and cross the gate alongside with that great final action, a smile formed on Jas’s face, unknown what he was currently thinking.
After walking for quite a while in silence, Khal noticed as they have finally arrived before a huge building, making him to start to inspect it with curiosity.
It was a luxurious-looking mansion, made out of beautiful white jade stone with different sized, colored, and shaped decorations on its surface.
In its middle, a medium-sized gate could be seen, which had an enormous white moon carved deeply into its surface.
Because the gates were closed, people couldn’t get in so they all waited patiently for the announcement to start outside the building.
Avoiding the people around him like a ghost, Jas walked through the crowd without letting his clothes to be touched even the slightest.
Because he was unable to mimic Jas’s foot technique and the way he avoided the crowd, h
Khal stopped following him and looked around.
However, instantly as he did, his eyes met with someone he didn’t really want to see right at that moment. Or it could be said that he didn’t want to see that individual for the rest of his life.
And that someone was no one else, but Ourvi Alde.
The one who destroyed Neo’s life and killed Miss Mary. Thinking back on how Miss Mary died because of him, made Khal feel instant rage flow through his whole body, but made sure to restrain himself.
He knew that making a ruckus right now inside Moon Academy would only sour his reputation, so he made sure to calm down and he did exactly that.
Inhaling a deep amount of air and exhaling that, Khal’s expression and body calmed down again and looked toward Alde’s direction.
“For revenge, there is always time.”, what was Khal currently thinking as he looked at Alde with a sharp gaze.
Feeling the glare on the back of his neck, Alde turned around and looked at Khal.
However, the moment he realized that it was Khal in Moon Academy made his expression to froze up instantly, and looked confused.
But only for a second. The very next moment he suddenly started to smile like an evil and raised his thumb right before his neck.
With a slow and steady motion, he pulled his finger before his neck from side to side and grinned wickedly at Khal.
“…”
Khal seeing this looked as calm as a Buddhist monk, but deep inside he was boiling like lava inside a volcano that was about to erupt.
If it weren’t for the fact that he was inside Moon Academy, he would have already gone before Alde and smashed his ugly face with a powerful punch.
But he knew he shouldn’t do something like that right now, so he averted his gaze and watched as Jas walked up before the gate.
“Ah, finally! I was looking for you all day long! Where were you? I guess, you was sleeping all day.”
Hearing the familiar voice, Khal smiled gently and looked to the side, and said, “Hehe, yeah, I have slept all day, my bad.”
Glancing at Liza who was looking a bit angry, Khal chuckled slightly and wanted to say something, when suddenly Jas voice sounded from the side.
“Welcome to Moon Academy, where knowledge means power and skill means survival!”
