“What should we hang then?” But there wouldn’t be any strangers coming into their bedroom.
Even if they had guests over, they wouldn’t be allowed to enter the bedroom and look around.
“I’ve thought about it, we can hang our marriage certificate.” Adrian Zhekova said.
“What?” Cindy Clarke was genuinely surprised.
“We’ll take wedding photos, but it takes time to pick out the photos and print them.” Adrian Zhekova said.
“Also, we can’t just settle for any wedding dress, we don’t want those rented from wedding dress shops that have been worn by many people with potential clashes in style.” Adrian Zhekova continued.
How could his wife’s wedding dress be the same as someone else’s?
And how could it be a casual rented wedding dress?
“Take Charlotte York’s dress today, for example, it was designed by a designer. Although wedding dresses can only be worn once, and there’s no chance to wear it again after the first wear, having it preserved as a keepsake still has sentimental value, right?”
“When we grow old, we can pull it out and take a look. That’s the dress you wore on our wedding day.” Adrian Zhekova thought about that scene and felt satisfied, “That’s true happiness.”
Cindy was also attracted by the picture Adrian described, and she couldn’t help but imagine it.
The picture formed in her mind.
“So, I want to find a designer to create a unique design just for you – the perfect wedding dress tailored specifically for you.” Adrian Zhekova said.
“But doing so will take quite some time. From the design to the final draft, we need to discuss the details of the wedding dress in between. Then, the wedding dress has to be made.”
“Your wedding dress has to be handmade, and if it’s finely crafted, it will take even longer. Of course, this all depends on the final design of the wedding dress.” Adrian Zhekova added.
“In short, it will take some time for the wedding dress to be made.” Adrian Zhekova counted, “We won’t be able to take wedding photos in a rush.”
“But our room is so empty, I can’t stand not hanging something that symbolizes our marriage.”
So what?
Cindy saw Adrian waving to her: “Cindy, do you think this arrangement looks good?”
Cindy walked over and saw Adrian arranging the marriage certificate into a heart shape.
“You want to take a picture of the marriage certificate and hang it in the bedroom?” Cindy asked.
“Yeah, it’s even more straightforward than a picture of the two of us together.” Adrian nodded.
“If the two of us don’t wear wedding dresses in the photo, who would know we’re married?” Adrian explained, “The marriage certificate is the simplest and clearest. Of course, we can’t just take a random shot, we have to be creative!”
Cindy: “…”
Sure, you can stay up late doing this instead of sleeping.
“I think it looks pretty good like this.” Cindy saw the way Adrian arranged the marriage certificate and said.
However, after looking at it for two more times, Adrian shook his head: “No, it still doesn’t look special enough.”
“Why not take a few more shots first, and then change the arrangement to take a few more, and finally compare which effect is better?” Cindy reminded.
Adrian didn’t think of that because he didn’t usually do it.
But Cindy often takes some cover photos and uploads videos.
When she started in this field, she initially took her time to choose angles for shooting carefully.
If she wasn’t satisfied, she’d shoot again.
Gradually, she gained experience and started shooting from every angle, whether it was 360 degrees or not.
All the shots were then uploaded to the computer for comparison and selection.
“You’re right.” Adrian Zhekova immediately praised, “My wife is really smart.”
Cindy’s face flushed, but she couldn’t help but smile at the corners of her mouth.
He used to call her my little Cindy.
But now, it’s changed to my wife.
The two are one.
After taking a few pictures, Adrian Zhekova continued.
He took pictures with Cindy holding the marriage certificate.
Finally, they brought out a tripod, set up the camera, and set the timer for shooting.
They sat down together, holding the marriage certificate, and took another shot.
In the end, the couple took various funny poses, having a blast.
Unknowingly, it was already 11:00 pm, and Adrian still didn’t feel sleepy.
Anyway, tomorrow is Sunday, it doesn’t matter if they stay up all night tonight.
So, Adrian pulled Cindy to look at the photos they just took on the computer.
He selected a few good-looking ones from the bunch.
Adrian found every photo too good to give up, all seeming perfect to him.
“Let’s print this one with the marriage certificate in the largest size, and hang it above our bed.” Adrian Zhekova suggested.
Cindy: “…”
Having two gigantic marriage certificates hanging above their heads was really quite pressuring.
“The others, just print them in regular size, frame them, and hang them on the wall with a nice layout.” Adrian had it all planned out and decided to print them all.
Cindy usually edited videos and made covers herself.
So she had a lot of experience in photo editing.
Thus, there was no need to find a studio for retouching, as she could do it all by herself.
“Are you tired now?” Adrian asked her.
He didn’t mind staying up late, but he was worried that Cindy was trying to keep up with him.
“Not tired.” She shook her head, smiling.
Adrian looked into her eyes and saw that she didn’t appear to be tired at all.
“If you’re tired, just tell me, don’t force yourself to stay up just for me,” Adrian said.
“I’m really not tired.” It wasn’t just Adrian who was excited; she was excited as well.
Although they had been living together for a while.
But the feeling of having a marriage certificate was different.
She understood Adrian’s feelings and thought that hanging the photos would be a great idea.
So, for this time around, Adrian sat with her while she edited the photos one by one.
By the time the photos were edited, two hours had passed.
“When should we print the photos?” Cindy saved the photos in a folder and asked him.
“Tomorrow?” Adrian Zhekova said, “Once they’re printed, we can choose some nice frames.”
“Why don’t we take some family portraits tomorrow?” Cindy suggested immediately.
“There are only pictures of the two of us, without Morgan Zhekova, which is not right. That’s certainly going to make Morgan sad.” Cindy said.
Morgan Zhekova was such a good child, so sensible.
Usually, Adrian would tease Morgan and flaunt things in front of him.
But Morgan never held a grudge and didn’t let Adrian upset him to the point of tears.
At most, he would find an opportunity to show off in return.
But that didn’t mean they could just leave Morgan out, without even a picture in the mix.
Adrian thought so too.
Apart from being attentive to matters concerning Cindy, Adrian wasn’t even as careful with his own son.
It was only after Cindy’s reminder that he remembered.
“Alright.” Adrian nodded and agreed.
“Are you sleepy now?” Adrian asked her.
Cindy didn’t think much about it and shook her head honestly.
Adrian immediately pulled Cindy into his arms: “Well… Let’s consider tonight our wedding night.”
Cindy’s heart raced, but she nodded and smiled, “Yes, Mr. Zhekova.”
He hadn’t expected him to think about that.
