Chapter 3251: Silent Agreement
?
Roan was certain the Soul had something to offer. It wouldn't have come back if it didn't have something to use in its favor.
"Yes, I do have something that should interest you," the Abyssal Soul confirmed. "Chaos Energy. I'm willing to stay in your Pocket Dimensional Realm for a thousand years, and you can use the natural Chaos Energy that emanates from my soul as you see fit. How about that? If you manage to reach the Space-time Realm during this time, you can even use the Chaos Laws within to comprehend your laws faster."
Everyone was taken aback, especially Rifindio. Chaos Energy was a dream for any high-level cultivator. Rifindio told them how the Universe Owner, Triaglia, always cultivated with the Chaos Origin Source's help, and everyone in the Supreme Palace wished they could do the
same.
Chaos Energy was a mess of laws, elements, and energies. However, that also meant it contained the elements and energies the twins and Kentucky needed at the moment. They made very good use of this energy back in the Lisan Universe before the last battle started. It's just that the twins weren't very interested in it right now.
The Abyssal Soul pressed, trying to make it look like the best deal ever. "I won't lie. The amount of natural Chaos Energy I emanate as a Soul is nothing compared to what I could do back when I had my body. Nonetheless, it should be more than enough if it is just a few users. It is an unlimited source for a thousand years, you know?"
"You do know that once you enter someone else's Pocket Dimensional Realm, you will be at their mercy, right?" Roan asked, finding it suspicious the Abyssal Soul itself would offer such a thing. He didn't mention that his group wasn't much interested, though.
"Yes, I'm aware," the Abyssal Soul confirmed. "But you had no reason to let me Shard go. Well, you gave a few reasons before letting me go a moment back, but none of them were anything special. Besides, the white-haired boy was correct. With all the formations collapsed and the eminent investigation of the Supreme Palace coming, I would rather not stay here a second longer."
It then went silent for a moment before adding another piece of information... or, to be more specific, some of its feelings. "I've been trapped in there for way too long. I don't want to anymore. As dangerous as it might be, I wish to give it a try."
Indeed. With Duere's death, there is no doubt the Supreme Palace will send more experts to investigate, and much stronger ones at that. It was also due to this reason that the twins' group wanted to leave as soon as possible.
Still, there was just one problem. "And who can guarantee that you will willingly enter this Pocket Dimensional Realm of ours once we get your Soul free?"
[Oh! For that, I have a solution,] Sister's voice echoed in the surroundings.
"Who said that?!" Although the Shard still couldn't see where she was.
[I'm this Dimensional Realm AI. You can call me Sister Orb. This is an age of technology, my friend. You don't really think the Pocket Dimensional Realms of nowadays are like those archaic things from the past, do you?]
Sister Orb simply used what everyone else always thought of her, that she was just an AI. Rifindio told them that it wasn't anything surprising to those above the Void Tempering Realm back in the Supreme Palace, and Sister Orb didn't miss that.
"I see..." The Abyssal Soul didn't complain. "If you have a way to guarantee I can enter this Dimensional Realm, then even better."
"How do you intend to do that, Sister Orb?" Rean obviously asked.
[If I'm not wrong, the Abyssal Soul is sealed in a confined space that impedes it from using its Spatial Powers. That crack we found in that Dimensional Realm is the most it can do. You remember how it opened another one, much smaller, during the battle, right? Anyway, its prison is most likely made of a similar energy to its Soul. Since Roan can corrode the shard, the Abyssal Soul wants him to enlarge that gap so its soul can come out, not just a shard.]
"That's indeed what I want," the Abyssal Soul confirmed. "I don't need him to destroy my confinement, just to open a gap big enough for me to escape."
[That's where I come in,] Sister Orb continued. [I can make it so that once the gap is open, there is only one place to go, and that is our Pocket Dimensional Realm. It will have two choices, come in or stay there.]
Roan pondered a bit. "You are opening a passage between our Dimensional Realm and the Crack in space, attaching the path to it, right?"
[Yes,] Sister Orb confirmed. [I'm confident I won't leave any gaps that can be used by the Abyssal Soul to go anywhere else. What do you say?]
"Rean, Roan," Rifindio suddenly intervened. "This is quite risky. Sure, it is widely known that Pocket Dimensional Realm owners are pretty much gods inside them. However, didn't the Abyssal Soul say that its control over space is beyond anything that exists outside? Even if you manage to bring it into your Pocket Dimensional Realm, perhaps it is confident it can break out of it on its own."
"That..." The Abyssal Soul wanted to deny it but gave up. "No, forget it. Even if I deny it here, you don't know if I am telling the truth or lying. In the end, that's up to you."
"Then we have a deal," Roan finally accepted. Rean and Kentucky didn't say anything, agreeing with Roan silently.
Truth be told, the twins didn't have much use to the Chaos Energy at the moment. It was good for Laws Comprehension above everything else. As mentioned a moment ago, they could use it to take out just what they needed and cultivate, but the reason they weren't very interested was that Divine Stones would definitely be much faster. Nonetheless, they accepted, as it was good to have a source of Chaos Energy if they had a need for it in the future.
