Chapter 3264: A Little Bit Too Far
?
*Rumble!*
Suddenly, the entire Fragile Dimensional Realm began to tremble. Spatial Rifts appeared everywhere, and the shell of the realm began to crack. Well, the Abyssal Soul was the only thing keeping it together with its power, so it made sense it began to crumble down.
Rean dragged Renata to Kentucky's back, and together with Rifindio, their group shot away at full speed. Kentucky was much faster than Rifindio, though, so he also used some of his Spiritual Energy to drag Rifindio along.
Not too long after, they returned to the entrance, passing through it without looking behind. Still, even from the outside, it looked like Space was suffering the side effects of that Dimensional Realm's collapse. More Spatial Rifts continued to appear, and Spatial Storms raged from within.
"Let's get to the Spaceship!"
Rifindio and the other quickly arrived at the Spaceship. After unlocking it with his credentials, Rifindio activated the engines and left the area. He didn't go into inter-space, though. The space there was too chaotic, so it was too dangerous to do so.
Finally, after moving the spaceship a few thousand kilometers away from the exit, space stabilized enough, and Rifindio used it to open the spatial gate. He didn't want to stay even an extra second there. Such a big Spatial Commotion was sure to catch the attention of the Inquisition Hall. The Spaceship passed through the Spatial Gate, entering inter-space and closing the gate behind it once again.
Rifindio was correct. The commotion was detected, and it was detected pretty fast. Just a few minutes later, another Spaceship appeared, this one belonging to the Closal Planet's Inquisition hall. Inside, Vianto and the other members of the Supreme Palace watched as the space ahead continued to collapse and repair itself.
"Is this... Chaos Energy?" Vianto couldn't help but ask. Even though it was faint, he could feel the presence of Chaos Energy. He didn't have as much access to it as Renata since his position wasn't as high. Nonetheless, he had contact with it before, so he knew.
Still, he quickly shook his head and looked behind. "Any signs of our Spaceship?"
"None," one of the crew members immediately answered. "However, space here is too messed up, so we can't get any proper readings."
"Tch... useless." Vianto has been feeling terrible since a day or so ago. His own Spaceship was stolen, and not only that but Renata was also kidnapped with it. Because this wasn't considered a dangerous mission, his group was requested to bring Renata with them and let her learn the ropes of the outside world.
Yet, Renata was gone, and she was a true direct descendant. He had purposely not woken the girl up so she would stay on the ship and not cause trouble while he started his work of investigation. Vianto didn't intend to use more than a day or two in this place. In his eyes, that girl was nothing but big trouble, and he wanted to give her back to the Supreme Palace as fast as possible. Now, it became impossible, and he had to find her. "Just where the hell did they bring her. Do those guys even know what it means to kidnap someone like that girl?" He spoke to himself, feeling helpless.
Little did he know, but that same girl was just back on Closal Planet. Well, not exactly. Rifindio had the Spaceship come to a point where it wouldn't be detected by the planet, but close enough that anyone at Renata's level of cultivation could still fly back to Closal, relying on their own power.
Naturally, they were here to deliver Renata, Troyae, and Donfina. All three of them were there on the bridge, looking at Closal Planet not too far from them.
"Sorry, sorry," Rean spoke to Troyae and Donfina. "To be honest, I didn't think we would be back this fast. But hey, here we are. You two must go back to help your sect, right? Well, this is your chance. We will be leaving in the next minute, so you need to go now."
Troyae and Donfina were obviously surprised to be back that fast. Nonetheless, Rean was right. They were worried about their sect, so being back here so soon played into their hands. Not to mention, they got so much from Rean that this calamity turned out to be a miracle in disguise.
Donfina turned to Rean, still with her head on everything Rean taught her. "We can't say I won't speak about you since we will probably be forced to sign the Soul Binding Contract of Second Stratum. However, know that we will be eternally grateful for everything you taught during those few hours."
Troyae agreed with her. "Indeed. But I'm still mad that you used me, so I will consider us even for this matter. Don't expect me to pay anything back." He obviously didn't forget how he was knocked out, and his Werdlem Stone ID used against his will. He is a Peak Transition Realm expert, after all. Pride is pretty much a given to such cultivators.
Rean smiled but didn't mind. He indeed considered his little teaching as payment for using the guy. "Good. Don't worry about the contract. Just tell them everything that happened. Now then, go away before we end up dragging you along again."
Troyae and Donfina didn't need to hear twice. They used Rifindio's directions and left the bridge straight away.
However, there was still one last passenger on the bridge.
"Ahem..." Rean glanced at Renata on the side. "There is Closal planet, you see? You can go already. That Vianto or whoever his name is must be looking for you there."
Kentucky laughed. "Hahaha! Rean, she is probably afraid we will shoot her down once she goes outside. Don't worry, little girl. If we wanted to kill you, we could have done it many times."
Renata didn't fall for Kentucky's provocation, though. "Will you just let me go? Just like that? The trash commanding the ship isn't lying. I'm indeed the Universe Owner's granddaughter... Well, one of them. Truth be told, I'm indeed very close to her when it comes to bloodline connection. However, at a personal level, I only saw her once in my life, and that was to receive my Divine Camazotz Transformation."
Rean shrugged. "What with that story of all a sudden? You see, we didn't want to take you. We just needed the spaceship. It just so happened that you were here when we borrowed it." Rifindio glanced at Rean. He knew they had no intention of giving the spaceship back anytime
soon.
Renata then began to walk out. "Then I'm going."
"Yes." Rean and the others nodded.
However, she stopped again, repeating herself. "I'm really going."
"Be well." They added.
She continued to walk, reaching the door to leave the bridge but stopping again. "I'm really, really going."
"Fucking hell, girl! Just go already! We have someone to meet, and we have no time for your antics." Rifindio spat out. Even he lost his patience. Rifindio wasn't lying, though. There was one last person they had to take from the planet, someone they had agreed to meet later. Naturally, that was Diliy, who went to Rusbav to take his revenge for his sect.
Yet, Renata's expression turned dark. "You know what? Then I'm not going!" "What?!" Rifindio didn't know what to do anymore. "Who the hell would willingly stay back with their kidnappers? Girl, have you gone mad?"
Yet, Rean and Kentucky mentally smiled. "What, not going? Why?"
"Let's make a deal," Renata didn't answer their question and came up with something instead. "Let me stay, and I will tell the bird about the Divine Camazotz Form. However, there
is a condition. You must never tell anyone who I am while I'm with you. For all intentions and purposes, I'm not even a Camzotz Bat."
Rifindio snorted. "As if it was that simpl-"
"It's a deal," Rean and Kentucky cut in and spoke at the same time.
Poor Rifindio wanted to cry already. Isn't that trust Rean always spoke about going a little bit
too far?
