Chapter 3266: Nothing Much

?

If Rifindio used the full speed of the ship, a few hours should be more than enough for them to arrive at the base of the Divine Realm on the other galaxy. However, that also generates fluctuations that can be detected, and it is no secret that this ship had been stolen by now.

That said, Rifindio reduced the speed at which the ship traveled to prevent such fluctuations. It's just that it increased the time necessary for arrival by around ten times. That played in the twins' hands, though. They would have time to resolve a few things before trying to go to the Divine Realm.

With Closal Planet disappearing from view, Diliy finally decided to ask something that was bothering him. "So... just who is the female Demon Beast?"

"Oh! I almost forgot to introduce her," Rean quickly spoke. "She is the Universe Owner's granddaughter. Say hello, Renata."

"I see..." Diliy nodded, looking away for a moment. However, his body froze in the next moment, such was the delay in understanding the meaning behind Rean's words. "Did you just say... the Universe Owner's granddaughter?"

Rean didn't answer, though. He was already walking out of the bridge with Zangeshu. "Anyway, Zangeshu and I have some work to do. You guys can talk and have some fun." *Zush!*

Foliana appeared on the bridge as well. Not only her, but Rean also brought out Karev and Marev. "I'll be back later. Join them so the little girl won't feel bored."

Once Rean left, an awkward atmosphere was left on the bridge. Renata's position was just too ridiculous in their minds. As for Renata herself, she didn't seem very willing to talk either, so a silent environment quickly took place.

As the awkward moment happened on the bridge, Rean passed to Zangeshu the schematics of the various runes he needed Zangeshu to help him attach to the ship. "Some of these runes are complicated, but you should be able to craft them. Make sure to attach these runes according to the schematics. Otherwise, I won't be able to use them."

Zangeshu took a look at those and quickly understood what Rean wanted to do. "No wonder you didn't simply put this Spaceship inside the Dimensional Realm. You can't bring this entire thing at once."

Rean corrected him, though. "Truth be told, the size of the ship isn't too much of an issue. The main issue is the engines, which, even when they are off, still interfere with the space in the surroundings. Of course, the ship's size is also contributing to this fact. It's just that without the engine, I think I would be able to drag it into the Dimensional Realm."

"So the ship is kind like a cultivator who fights against the Spatial Pull when you try to bring someone inside?" Zangeshu asked.

"That's pretty much it," Rean confirmed and checked his own schematics. The ones he would need to build were even more complicated, so he didn't give them to Zangeshu yet. Fortunately for him, he had worked with these kind of runes before. To be more specific, they were a variation of the formation used in the System Sect in the past. Let's not forget the twins were able to pull the entire sect in and out of the Dimensional Realm thanks to that.

Zangeshu didn't waste time and went to the bottom of the ship. As for Rean, he moved to the core of the ship, where most of the energy was generated.

Those two worked together, constantly communicating with each other and testing if the runes were connecting. Just like that, over three days' worth of time went by.

Rean was now at the back of the ship, working on some anti-spatial rejection runes when suddenly, a sound appeared in his mind.

*Pin!*

[Congratulations Host. The Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm can now support the hosts when using the Abyssal Paths. The danger of such actions is now dismissed.]

Rean smiled and immediately stopped what he was doing, entering the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm instead. There, Roan was looking at the Abyssal Soul, who seemed a lot bleaker than when it first came out of its prison. "Did the system kill it?" he couldn't help but ask. Rean couldn't even feel the Chaos Energy it usually emanated anymore.

Roan shook his head, though. "No. It is still alive, even if just barely. However, the system doesn't seem to have caused any apparent damage to this guy's soul. It only extracted what it needed from the Abyssal Soul and left the rest intact. Of course, the process was definitely quite stressful for the Abyssal Soul."

Rean nodded and approached Aby. Using his Light Element, he helped Aby's soul stabilize. Rean also confirmed that the soul, indeed, wasn't damaged, only spent.

For the first time in three days, Aby was finally able to generate coherent thoughts. "Ouch... just... what happened. I feel like my soul was shredded and put back a thousand times."

As Aby's soul stabilized, Chaos Energy's emission increased once again. It would take some time to return to the level it was previously, but it shouldn't be a problem for Aby either. "This..." Finally, Aby remembered what happened. "What did you do to me?!"

Rean smiled. "Calm down, Aby. You are fine. Just check your soul, and you should be able to tell that you are only spent, not injured."

Aby had his doubts but still checked his own soul thoroughly. Well, he would have done so regardless of whether Rean asked or not. "Something isn't right..."

Aby couldn't see any problems with his soul other than what Rean mentioned. Nonetheless, it knew that something was wrong. "You definitely did something. I feel like... like... like something is missing..."

"Oh!" Rean didn't expect that. He thought the system had only copied the Abyssal Soul Innate's ability to use Abyssal Paths. Yet, it seems like the system truly took that ability away from Aby. "It's nothing much. You will just find some difficult to use the Abyssal Paths from now on."
