Chapter 338
“T-The physique of a Grandmaster?” Siegfried asked.
“That’s right,” Deus replied with a nod.
“W-What do you mean by that, master…?”
“It’s exactly as I said; her physique will allow her to become a Grandmaster. Do you still remember what I said to you? A person’s body would transform once they reach the realm of a Master?”
“Yes, Master.”
Siegfried was sort of familiar with what Deus was talking about. A Master’s body would undergo metamorphosis to reinforce itself and become even stronger.
Perhaps calling it molting was another way of putting it?
The power that a person would gather from cultivating until the realm of a Master was so immense that their body wouldn’t be able to contain it. Thus, their body would slowly evolve to accommodate their power.
“A person’s body that evolves after reaching the realm of a Master would undergo another evolution once they become a Grandmaster.”
“Heok!”
“The body of a Grandmaster is… the ultimate evolution of a human being,” Deus said before he kindly proceeded to explain, “A Grandmaster’s body would not be damaged by temperature no matter how low or how high it is. Neither scorching flames nor permafrost will be able to harm it in any way.”
Siegfried suddenly recalled a martial arts comic he enjoyed during his school days, where the practitioners cultivated their bodies until they obtained bodies that were immune to both fire and water. The comic called those immunities Fire Immunity and Water Immunity.
“But that’s not all. A Grandmaster will not be harmed even by the most toxic poison, and they will simply burp out of satisfaction even if they drink a bowl of your radioactive poison energy.”
Immunity to all poisons was called Poison Immunity in that comic...
“Wow…”
“And they can lift hundreds of kilograms without using an ounce of mana...”
“Then does that mean my daughter… will have such a physique?”
“Exactly,” Deus replied with a nod, and then he continued, “A High Elf was bound to be born with half of a Master’s body, but a significant portion of the Dragonian Mango’s mana was absorbed by your child while I was curing your wife.”
“Haha…”
“Your child went through metamorphosis not once but twice in the process. I am talking about an unborn child here, she’s bound to be a monster.”
At this point, it was probably appropriate to call his daughter’s birth a tale rather than a story.
‘Just how strong will the baby be?’ Siegfried couldn’t fathom just how powerful his daughter was going to be. The fact that the sole invincible being in this world, Deus, had called her a monster that she was definitely going to possess monstrous power.
“I’m confident that your daughter will…”
“Yes, Master?”
“She will continue to grow stronger regardless of whether she’s already a Grandmaster or not, just like a dragon. Yes, those lizards who enjoy easy lives from birth are a perfect comparison for her.”
“Oh my god…”
“She will obtain powers equal to a Master by ten, but even the great myself can’t fathom how powerful she is going to be. However, one thing I’m sure of is that she is a genius born once in five thousand years. So heed my words, my disciple.”
“Yes, Master.”
“You will have to make sure to properly discipline your daughter. What do you think will happen if that child’s affinity is toward evil?”
“That’s—”
Deus cut him off and said, “The Demon God. The embodiment of destruction itself.”
“She will become a monster that will paint the world with blood, so you will have to make sure your daughter grows up to be a righteous person. Do you understand?”
“Yes! Master!” Siegfried loudly replied to Deus’ plea.
‘I don’t know until when I’ll be playing this game or when this game will end its service, but… I will do my best as long as I’m still in this world. Sure, I’ll become a game addict, weeb, or whatever they call it.’ He figured that there was nothing to be afraid of or hesitant about when he was now married to an NPC
BNW was going to lose popularity and end its services one day, even though Han Tae-Sung was still playing the game. Every single popular online game would see its popularity wane one day, and all of them eventually ended their services.
He decided to face the trauma, longing, and emptiness he was going to feel on that day. Even in reality, relationships were bound to start with a meeting and end with a farewell, so there was no difference just because it was a game.
The question was how well he was going to overcome the aftermath later on...
Deus seemed to have read his mind as he gently smiled and said, “Go on. She’s probably awake now.”
“R-Really, Master?”
“Has this great being ever lied? Hurry up and go take care of your wife and child!”
“Yes! Master!” Siegfried replied with a loud voice and ran into the infirmary.
He was greeted by his loving wife, Brunhilde.
“Honey!”
She no longer looked withered like a mummy as she was back to her healthy self.

“E-Elder-nim!”
The Sword Emperor Betelgeuse, no, Blockhead was shocked after seeing Deus.
Seuruk…!
Deus’ left hand started fading like a ghost.
“Elder-nim! Are you unwell? I think you pushed yourself too—”
“No, does this great being look tired to you?” Deus asked in response.
“N-Not at all, elder-nim!”
“Are you hoping that I fall sick so you can have your freedom?”
“N-Never! Not at all! I swear on my life, elder-nim!”
“Hmm… I think you do?”
“No! Elder-nim!”
Blockhead was shocked after having his thoughts read.
He did hard labor all day and was beaten up whenever Deus was bored. A normal person would have died from sorrow by now, and it was all the more for Betelgeuse, who was one of the few Masters on the continent. He was relegated to a mere slave and was even renamed Blockhead.
“Keke! Did you really think I wouldn’t know what you’re up to?”
“T-That is…”
“There is a time and place for everything.”
“Pardon me, elder-nim?”
“I will grant you your freedom once you step into the realm of a Grandmaster.”
“I-Is that really possible?!”
“Of course,” Deus said with a faint smile, and then he added, “You poor thing.”
“Eh…?”
“You had the chance to become stronger, but you missed it. You would’ve lived a life of fame and left your name in the annals of history if you were born in a different time.”
“What do you mean by that, Elder-nim?”
“It’s nothing.”
“Elder-nim…”
“The laws of this world can be quite mysterious at times.”
Blockhead could not understand what Deus was saying.
‘What in the world is elder-nim trying to say…?’ he thought, but he knew that Deus was capable of seeing things that he could not see.
“But are you really okay, elder-nim? Your left hand is…”
“You don’t have to concern yourself,” Deus replied with a smirk, and then he added, “My body is fading in preparation to become a god.”
“Eh?!”
“One cannot go against the laws of causality, and it does not permit a being of this world to possess more power than it is supposed to have.”
“That means…”
“I used a bit of the power of a god in the healing process.”
“Heok! But that will force you to become a god!”
“I didn’t use that much. I lost control of this mortal body of mine for a split second, but it will get better in time.”
“That’s a relief, Elder-nim!”
“Are you being sincere right now? You don’t seem to be that glad.”
“No way, Elder-nim! That is not true at all!”
“I can see right through you, punk,” Deus said with a smirk.
“I am telling the truth!”
“Stop causing a ruckus, and let’s go get a drink.”
“Yes! Elder-nim! Please allow me to lead the way!” Blockhead exclaimed in response before he carefully asked, “But, Elder-nim… Are you certain you did not push yourself too hard using the power of a god and losing your body…?”
“What can I do? My one and only disciple is about to lose his wife and child. Should I just sit around and contemplate the law of causality in such a time instead of helping him?” Deus replied.
“T-That is…”
“I will still do it even if it means dying.”
“Hahaha…”
“My granddaughter! Hoho! Who would have known that this great being would have a granddaughter so late in my life?! Kekeke!”
Deus could not help but smile almost ear to ear at the thought of seeing his grandchild. He was just like a normal old man who had lived a fulfilling life.

On that same evening...
“Eat this too,” Siegfried said as he placed a large fried fish on Brunhilde’s plate.
“Yes! Thank you, darling!” Brunhilde replied.
She had fully recovered after absorbing the Dragonian Fruit, and she recovered her old appetite back. No, it was safe to say that her appetite had gotten stronger than ever before, and her appetite was at least ten to twenty times that of an adult male.
She devoured a whole roasted calf all alone and was now having a whole fish after that. Her morning sickness was gone after Deus’ treatment, and she was now instinctively devouring any food she could to provide nutrition for the monster baby in her belly.
If Siegfried were not a king and just an ordinary man, then he probably would have had difficulties providing food for her—no, he would have most likely ended up becoming broke.
‘I… I might actually become a useless father that lets his wife and child starve to death…’ Siegfried was slightly surprised after seeing how much Brunhilde was able to eat.
Fortunately, the Proatine Kingdom was rich enough to feed thousands of men for years and more.
“Please have this, too.”
“Yes!”
“This, too.”
“Yes!”
“This is good for you.”
“Yes!”
Siegfried placed delicacy after delicacy on Brunhilde’s plate, and she devoured every single dish.
‘Wow, she’s so pretty even when she’s stuffing herself. That’s my wife! Hoho!’ Siegfried was glad to see that Brunhilde was fully recovered and eating well, and then he looked at her belly and thought, ‘Eat well, my child. Daddy will not let you…’
“Your Majesty,” Michele entered the infirmary.
Then, he approached Siegfried and whispered, “Someone from the Thieves Guild has arrived.”
“The Thieves Guild?”
“Yes, they claim it is an urgent matter, and they wish to speak to Your Majesty.”
“Tell them to wait, I’m a bit busy now.”
“Yes, Your Majesty.”
Michele did not disturb Siegfried’s happiness right now, and neither did he want to.
However, that did not mean he was not going to say what he had to say.
“But, Your Majesty.”
“Hmm?”
“I heard that you got quite the hefty profit from the Great Rift recently?”
“Eh?”
“Your Majesty seemed to be avoiding declaring your income. I implore you to do so at the earliest.”
“…”
“They say it is better to turn yourself in before things spiral out of control. Would you not agree, Your Majesty?”
“Ah…A-Alright…” Siegfried muttered as he cried tears of blood at the thought of Michele taking away his lunch money.
Everyone would agree that the top predator in the Proatine Kingdom was none other than the Minister of State, Michele.

Three hours later, Siegfried finished feeding Brunhilde and tucked her in for bed before going to meet the representative from the Thieves Guild, but…
“What in the world…” Siegfried muttered after seeing the representative, and then he grimaced and asked, “You dare step foot in my kingdom?”
Then, he asked in a threatening voice, “Do you want me to sever one of your limbs? Cut your head and hang it on the walls? You seem to be confused, but this is within the game and not Gangnam. This is my kingdom where I rule as king.”
“Oh~ You do not have to sound so scary~”
The representative from the Thieves Guild was none other than the loan shark, Ma Dong-Po.
“I brought premium information today, but aren’t you being too harsh off the bat~?”
“Give it to the dogs. I’m not interested,” Siegfried growled in response.
“Hey, Han Tae-Sung! You fucker! Pay back your debt!”
“You can just sign these papers if you’re struggling to repay me. You don’t smoke, right? Any medications you’re taking? Hmm… I think we can get one hundred million won off of you. You don’t need both kidneys, right?”
“I’m going to come find you if you don’t pay me back within the day, got it?”
Siegfried could still remember how much he had suffered at the hands of Ma Dong-Po in the past, and those memories made him gnash his teeth in anger.
“I don’t think you’d want this information for the dogs. It’s related to Chae Hyung-Seok~ Are you sure you don’t want it?”
“What? Chae Hyung-Seok?”
“Yeah, Hyung-Seok is…” Ma Dong-Po muttered as he flashed a sleazy smile and started to play hard to get with the information he possessed.
“Guards!” Siegfried called his knights, waiting outside his throne room.
“Yes, Your Majesty!”
“At your service, Your Majesty!”
The knights rushed into the throne room and knelt in front of Siegfried, awaiting his command.
Then, Siegfried commanded the knights, “Arrest that pig and pull out his nails and toenails. When you’re done with that, you can cut his limbs one by one, pull his tongue out, skin him alive, boil him in a pot, fry him in oil, and… Ah, make sure you cut his head off and hang it on the walls.”
