Chapter 610
“Tae-Sung!” Kim Gi-Tae shouted.
“Y-Yes?”
“Go up the cliff with Sang-Gi!”
“Okay!”
Siegfried grabbed Han Sang-Gi and flew up the cliff, following Kim Gi-Tae's instructions.
“We will hang on the cliff!” Kim Gi-Tae shouted to Park Gi-Don and Kim Han-Yong.
The three jumped and climbed up the side of the cliff. Everyone escaped from the incoming cavalry, leaving behind Seung-Gu and his golems.
Rumble!
Baaaam!
The horde of Hero Terracotta: Cavalry slammed into the Iron Golem barricade. The Iron Golems successfully stopped the charge, and they only sustained a bit of damage while doing so.
The cavalry’s charge was indeed fierce, but the Iron Golem barricade was strong enough to withstand its full impact.
“Attack!” Kim Gi-Tae shouted.
The Iron Golems and the horde of Hero Terracotta: Cavalry were locked in a melee brawl.
“Tae-Sung!”
“Yes! Sunbae-nim!”
Kim Gi-Tae hurriedly called out to Siegfried. “Debuff them and attack from the air!”
“Yes, sir!” Siegfried responded almost immediately. He placed down his debuff fields and spread open his Black Crow Wingsuit to fly, attacking the cavalry from midair.
“Sang-Gi! Snipe them down!”
“I know what to do!”
Kim Gi-Tae instructed Han Sang-Gi to snipe down the cavalry from atop the cliff.
Kim Gi-Tae then looked at Kim Han-Yong and exclaimed, “Hey! It’s your turn now!”
“Got it!” Kim Han-Yong replied and summoned his pony. Then, he readied his polearm and charged at the cavalry, massacring them left and right. He looked just like a general found in a certain ancient legend.
‘I-Isn’t that Lu Bu?!’ Siegfried exclaimed inwardly, thinking of a very famous historical figure. Well, he was riding a pony rather than a red horse, and his weapon was a rusty polearm, but the way he cut through his enemies truly made him look like Lu Bu.
However, what was truly surprising was the way Kim Han-Yong handled his pony. He controlled the pony as if it was an extension of his body, and describing his riding skills as godly wouldn't be an exaggeration.
He weaved through groups of Hero Terracotta: Cavalry without sustaining even a single scratch on both himself and his pony.
‘Is he good at riding any mount?’ Siegfried wondered while watching Kim Han-Yong.
The game Kim Han-Yong used to play, Formula Rider, was a racing game. In other words, he was a master of driving. Perhaps that was the reason, but Kim Han-Yong moved freely through the horde of Hero Terracotta: Cavalry.
‘Kim Gi-Tae Sunbae-nim is really good at setting the stage while Kim Han-Yong Sunbae-nim is a really good driver...’ Siegfried thought.
But that was not the end of it...
“Here I come!”
The legend of the game, Legend of League, Park Gi-Don, did not fall behind the others. He showed off the two skills he currently possessed and killed scores of enemies.
The game he used to play was a multiplayer online battle arena genre, where each character possessed their own set of skills. They could be equipped with two rune spells, bringing the total number of skills they could use to six.
Legend of League was a game where the player could use up to ten skills if the active items were taken into account, too. Park Gi-Don showed unbelievable reflexes as if he was trying to prove to everyone that he was a legend of the once massively famous MOBA.
‘Wow... I have so much to learn from them,’ Siegfried thought while admiring the Legends. He made sure to pay attention and etch in his memory their plays just in case he could learn something from them.
The Legends were showing what would be called Super Plays, and most people would probably doubt if what they were doing was even possible for a human being to do.
‘This is quite an eye-treat I’m getting today!’ Siegfried exclaimed inwardly and used Flying Sword to attack the Hero Terracotta: Cavalry, all while keeping his eyes glued to the Legends.
Legends never die! Form was temporary, but class was forever!
‘I should learn everything that I can from them,’ Siegfried thought, resolving to learn as much as he could from the Legends.

The party achieved an overwhelming victory against the horde of Hero Terracotta: Cavalry, thanks to the Legends.
Unfortunately, they were caught by the same problem yet again—their stamina.
“Ughh...”
“Aigoo... Aigoo...!”
“B-Blood sugar level... is too...”
“My joints...!”
The Legends had exhausted their actual stamina, and they plopped down on the plains, huffing and puffing.
“Thank you for your hard work,” Siegfried thanked them while passing out potions and hand towels. Then, he said, “Let us take a break for an hour. Please feel free to log out and get a cup of coffee.”
It took less than 0.1 seconds for the Legends to react to his words.
“Oh?”
“A break?”
“Deal!”
“Alright! Let’s take a break!”
The Legends logged out exactly three seconds later. Their stamina had already hit rock bottom—no, their character's stamina was still high. However, their actual stamina had already hit rock bottom, so they really wanted to take a break from the game.
“They’re so fast... Hahaha...” Siegfried muttered, laughing awkwardly.
He summoned the apparition of the Three-Legged Crow and picked up all of the loot dropped by the Hero Terracotta: Cavalry.
[Alert: You have obtained a Marble of Strength!]
[Alert: You have obtained a Marble of Strength!]
[Alert: You have obtained a Marble of Accuracy!]
[Alert: You have obtained a Marble of Speed!]
(omitted...)
[Alert: You have obtained a Marble of Wisdom!]
After collecting the marbles, Siegfried turned to Seung-Gu and said, “Let’s go and clear the way up ahead for our sunbae-nims. They’ll get exhausted right away if we run into other monsters."
However, Seung-Gu shook his head and replied, “I don’t think that’s a good idea, hyung-nim.”
“Hmm? Why not?”
“They need experience points, too, right?”
“Ah, you’re right... Tsk...”
“Let’s just go and rest, too.”
“Sure, let’s do that then.”
“Okay, hyung-nim.”
“See you later.”
Siegfried and Seung-Gu logged out from the game as well.
Click...!
Tae-Sung opened his VR capsule.
Bzzt! Bzzt!
His phone on the table, which was next to his VR capsule, rang the moment the lid was opened. It was from an unfamiliar number, but he answered the call anyway.
“Hello?”
— Hello, Mr. Han Tae-Sung?
“Who’s this?”
— My name is Choi Bong-Geun from Jinro Chilsung Drinks!
“Ah, is this regarding the bamboo soju?”
— Yes! That is correct!
“How can I help you?”
— I cannot give you the exact figure right now, but based on our internal meetings, we can offer around eight billion won!
“Hmm...” Tae-Sung pondered for a second after hearing the offer.
Yes, eight billion won was less than the twelve billion won offered by the canned tuna company, but it was in no way a small amount.
However, he was not tempted by the offer.
“I’m sorry.”
— Eh?!
“I already have an offer for twelve billion won, so eight billion won is too little.”
— Eh?
“Please feel free to contact me again if you can up your offer,” Tae-Sung said and hung up. Then. he grumbled while getting out of his VR capsule, “Who the hell are they trying to fool with a lowball offer like that?”
He did not like the offer at all. Soju was known worldwide as Korean Vodka, and sales of the drink had been picking up recently. Without a doubt, the sales would skyrocket if a now-world-renowned gamer such as Tae-Sung promoted it, and the marketing effect would be nowhere near what most celebrities could achieve.
If these factors were taken into consideration, then eight billion won wasn't a big amount at all.
“I should just go get a cup of coffee,” Tae-Sung muttered and went to the kitchen to make himself a cup. Of course, he erased the short conversation he had with the bamboo soju from his mind, too.

Meanwhile, Yong Seol-Hwa was trembling in anger while clenching her phone...
“He... left me on read...?”
She was infuriated upon realizing that Tae-Sung had read her message but hadn't replied to her. She sent the message hours ago in hopes of going out on a date with him, and he immediately opened the message as soon as it was delivered.
Unfortunately, he did not reply. He opened the message but did not reply, which meant that Tae-Sung had left Yong Seol-Hwa on read.
“This guy... Is he not interested in me at all...?”
Yong Seol-Hwa’s pride was wounded. She had always been famous with boys since she was young, so she had received countless proposals in her life. In fact, it was normal for someone to walk up to her on the street and ask for her number.
However, she was not attracted to any of them.
Why?
It was all because her ideal type was someone good at playing games. She wanted a man who was better than her at games, but this single condition of hers could not be easily satisfied. She had inherited her father’s blood, so it was very difficult for her to find someone better than her at games.
Of course, there were some guys who managed to beat her in video games, but she wasn't attracted to them, as they were ugly in her eyes.
However, Tae-Sung was different. He was not only good at the game but was handsome, too. On top of that, he was a junior whom her father had acknowledged, and she could tell that he had a very good personality, too.
Of course, only she knew what she had seen in him for her to say that he had a good personality...
Anyway, she finally found the man of her dreams, but he was not interested in her.
Thus, Yong Seol-Hwa’s pride was massively wounded.
“Sigh...” Yong Seol-Hwa sighed and buried her face in her pillow.
Then, she peeked at her phone, hoping that Tae-Sung had replied.
“...”
Unfortunately, there was no reply from him.
Plop!
Once again, she buried her face into her pillow.
Five minutes later, she peeked at her phone again, but there was still no reply from him.
Yong Seol-Hwa repeated this dozens of times, waiting for his reply, but the reply never came, no matter how long she waited for it.
***
Tae-Sung made himself a cup of coffee and managed his social media accounts before logging back into the game exactly one hour later.
“Welcome back, hyung-nim,” Seung-Gu greeted him.
“You’re already here?”
“Yes, hyung-nim.”
“What about them?”
“They’re not here yet.”
“...”
“They should be coming a bit late, don’t you think so?”
“I shouldn’t have expected them to come on time...”
Siegfried proceeded to take out a bunch of miscellaneous items from his inventory.
“What are you doing, hyung-nim?”
“Those old men are going to whine again later. They’re gonna say their feet hurt and whatnot.”
“Huh?”
“I’m going to try and make them a cart.”
“...”
“It will be easier for us to just drag them around on this.”
“T-That’s genius...”
Siegfried proceeded to combine the scraps to make a makeshift cart. This was only possible due to the fact that his Inventory had many different items.
“Who knows when this would come in handy?”
He did not discriminate between items and picked up everything he could, resulting in his Inventory having most things imaginable under the sun.
Thirty minutes later...
“I guess this should be good enough,” Siegfried said. He hopped on the cart and tested its ride comfort out.
“I think it’s the best they will get out here,” Seung-Gu replied.
“I should ask the workshop to make a wheelchair or something. I’m really sick of listening to those old men whining.”
“I agree, hyung-nim.”
The Legends only appeared a long time after Siegfried finished making the cart. To be exact, they logged back into the game two hours and thirty minutes after they logged out.
“Wow! I didn’t expect this treatment from you, junior!”
“Ah! This is so comfortable!”
“Not bad! Not bad at all!”
“I love it!”
The Legends seemed to be satisfied with the cart Siegfried made.
However, there was one big problem.
“Hmm... Who’s going to pull the cart?” Siegfried muttered.
He initially considered making the Iron Golems pull it, but that would make the ride too bumpy. He also considered Kim Han-Yong’s pony, but it was too small to pull a cart with four adults in it.
“Do we have to pull it like a rickshaw...?”
“T-That sounds really tiring, hyung-nim.”
“Then what should we do?”
“I think...”
Both Siegfried and Seung-Gu looked at the same figure.
The figure was none other than... Hamchi.
