Chapter 16: The Creation Of Humanity
Jay nodded and said,"Ok, let's go with that first and then work our way to other species."
Jay summoned the hologram out of the device so the other could watch him work.
Centi asked in his usual deadpanned voice,"Father, you were once a human, correct?"
Jay beamed a grin and said,"What are you talking about? I may be a God now but I shall always be a human. I will never forsake my roots, for that is what got me here In the first place!"
Centi cracked a rare smile and said,"I see. Thank you for the enlightenment."
Jay was curious what he meant by enlightenment but decided to ignore it for now as he had much bigger things to tackle at this moment!
Jay summoned a clay ball in front of him roughly the size of an american football. Jay started his creation as he closed his eyes and focused on what humans should generally look like.
Tall, yet stable. Set upon two feet that burned with endless stamina. Arms and hands that told stories of struggle, passion, and hard work. A powerful back and a reliant shoulder to lean on in times of need. Finally, a resilient mind to tackle the coming problems.
Jay then moved on to step 2 where he took his tools and slowly perfected the design of the human man in front of him.
The human man, now completed but naked, was finished modeling and was floating in the hologram as the other stared on in fascination.
Jay moved on to step three. This step simply required him to set a natural power level to be born at for the race. Jay naturally had the information on power levels in his mind and so set the average level to be 1-8. This was weak and strong at the same time. In the beginning getting a child born with anything higher than a power level of 4 would be extremely unlikely, at least until they develop more technology and techniques to raise this average. Jay also set it so that humans had the ability to raise the power levels if they had corresponding treasures or a powerful technique that could break the extremely weak godly seal he placed on it. Something for the humans to discover down the line. Who knows, it may be their saving grace. He also made it so that human seed would be compatible with most human-like (sentients that have a body composition similar to humans. Think fox girl) creatures.
Jay left the bloodlines and everything else alone as whatever direction his people went in, he didn't want to unintentionally handicap them. Jay would give them advice and manage the world but he wanted for the most to be hands off and let his new fantasy world develop nearly complete on its own.
Next was the fourth step, location. Jay looked at his new planet and after a moment of thought he moved his will to place 5 groups of humans on the planet. Other than the 3 free locations, Jay also paid 5 godly energy to place 2 additional groups down. Each group consisted of 2 men and 2 women, each having a power level of 1, which although weak in the future was actually decent at this point in time.
He placed 4 of the groups on the main continent that he had dubbed "Trecano" which was just an amalgamation of the Spanish word tres (3) and the English word volcano, in reference to the three volcanoes that made up the super continent. He placed 1 group in the forest, 1 group in a savanna, 1 group in a jungle, and 1 group way up north near the beginnings of tundra. He placed the last group on the smallest island in a forest. He wanted to see what direction a human settlement that is unaffected by other humans would manage. He also modified their DNA ever so slightly to perfectly match their respective environments. Now they would feel at ease in these areas rather than trepidation.
Jay asked the other present,"What do you guys think about the arrangement so far?"
Every person excitedly praised Jay and wanted him finish the process, which was the biographies.
Jay thought for a few minutes, unsure of what to say. Phineas saw his father struggling to come up with something, and after a moment of contemplating he grinned.
Phineas called out,"Father?"
Jay turned to him and asked,"Yes, son?"
Phineas' grin widened and he chuckled as he simply stated,"Just follow your heart and everything will become simple!"
Jay's eyes widened slightly at this comment and he also realized how much he was overthinking this. Jay took a deep breath and started to speak the words that naturally came to mind when thinking of humans.
"Race biographies: Humans. Create a new biography." Jay took another deep breath as he closed his eyes and pictured the many humans he had met throughout his previous life. "Humans are cunning, savage, rage filled, brutal, and merciless beyond reason. They are petty, greedy, and often only care about themselves. However humans are also kind, compassionate, loving, and filial. They love deeply about their family, friends and the ones they care about. Often the actions of the evil come from the actions of the righteous. Their moral compass swings based on the situation, making hard decisions that others would not be able to make. They are all born heroes, one step from unlocking the infinite potential within, however most will never even come close to it. They are a jack of all trades, but a master of none. A karmic force of pure justice or absolute evil, but when the weak are in trouble, especially if they are children, even they are weak themselves, humans will forcefully shatter their limits to finish their mission to protect the weak. They are dedicated beyond reason to the point that other humans call them insane, and they are constantly theorizing to further push the envelope of power."
