Deviant: No Longer Human

Chapter 546: Was Assaulted by his own sister?

Chapter 546: Was Assaulted by his own sister?

"Finally!"

Wang Xiao emerged from the north wing meeting room and made his way toward where Wang Xueying had been waiting.

The moment she saw him, her eyes widened, and without hesitation, she rushed forward.

Her figure moved with a swift movement, her long hair swaying with each step, and before he could react, she had thrown herself into his arms.

Whoosh!

Her soft, fragrant body pressed against his, but there was nothing delicate about her movements—her hands were all over him, frantically checking him over.

"They didn't beat you, did they?" she asked, her voice a melodious rush of panic. "Did they hurt you?" Her slender fingers roamed over his chest, his arms, his face, feeling for any injury. "I told you not to sneak in there! What were you thinking?"

Her beauty was undeniable, even in her frantic state. Her cheeks were flushed with concern, her lips slightly parted, and her large, expressive eyes shimmered with worry. Her soft hair cascaded over her shoulders, framing her delicate face as she fussed over him.

"I was so scared! They took my phone, locked me up, and I didn't know what was happening to you! What if something had happened?" Her voice wavered, but she continued speaking, her words pouring out in a breathless stream. "You always do this! You never think about what could go wrong! What if you'd died in there?

Why did you beat him so violently, what if he did? What if I never saw you again?"

"..."

Wang Xiao's ears buzzed with the constant flow of her voice.

He closed his eyes for a moment, his face betraying a slight expression of resignation, knowing that nothing he said would stop her when she was like this.

He simply stood there, waiting for her to calm down.

But then, in the middle of her frantic tirade, she did something completely unexpected.

Without warning, she cupped his face with her hands, looking into him directly, with her lips brushing against his in a sudden, impulsive kiss.

The warmth of her lips, soft and sweet, made him freeze for a second, the moment surreal as her beauty seemed to glow even more.

"??????????????????"

Wang Xiao, always in control, always the one who took charge, now found himself on the receiving end of something completely unexpected.

Him, assaulted?

He couldn't believe it, his mind reeling as he tried to comprehend what had just happened.

"What the hell was that?" he thought, utterly lost.

Meanwhile, Wang Xueying stood there, equally shocked, her heart racing. She had no idea what had just come over her. One second, she was checking his face for injuries, and the next… she had kissed him? Kissed him!

"!!!"

Her face turned scarlet as she frantically tried to make sense of her own actions. What was going through her perverted head? Her heart raced as she pulled back, hands flying to cover her face, which now felt like it was on fire.

"I-I was just… checking for injuries," she thought desperately, trying to justify the situation to herself. 'Maybe his lips were bruised?'

She glanced at his lips again, realizing how absurd that sounded even to her.

'No, no, maybe I was just checking if he was breathing properly...' she reasoned, but even that sounded ridiculous in her head. 'It's not my fault he looks so calm when he closes his eyes!'

Then, she started to panic even more, justifying it in a worse way.

'And why was he just standing there, with his eyes closed? Doesn't he know he looks way too handsome when he does that? Who stands like that? Of course, I'd get confused!'

Her mind raced faster. 'I didn't mean to! It just… happened! It's his fault for being so damn...'

And before she could finish that thought, her words slipped out, flustered and loud:

"I-I wasn't trying to kiss you! It was... it was a mistake!"

Wang Xiao's eye twitched. 'What is this girl thinking?'

"..."

"..."

Wang Xiao dragged Wang Xueying out of the building before she could embarrass herself any further, his grip firm but not rough.

He didn't bother listening to her flustered excuses as they made their way to the car. When they arrived, he made sure she was strapped in, ensuring her safety as if nothing had just happened.

Her voice buzzed in the background, and though she was still throwing questions at him, he ignored her entirely, focusing on the drive. The story about Minister Gao being alive was already prepared. He spun the lie with such ease that it didn't matter whether Wang Xueying believed it or not.

Don't believe me? Fine. It's not like I care.

Even if he told her he was the Prince, she wouldn't believe that either. And if he made her believe, she'd only end up bombarding him with all sorts of ridiculous requests.

He sighed, thinking about Wang Mei, his other sister, who never asked for anything, despite knowing he could get her almost anything in the world.

Wang Xueying, on the other hand, was an entirely different kind of trouble.

9th October, 2031

Days had passed in an oddly calm silence, though each passing day, Wang Xiao found himself understanding his mother, Xinyue Zhilan, better. She had long since surpassed the image he once had of her—her limits seemed non-existent.

He chuckled to himself, thinking that if it wasn't for his own experiences and strength, he would've become one of those spoiled second-generation heirs. The kind with too much power and no sense of restraint. Zhenxi, that strange little creature, still visited daily, but otherwise, things were peaceful.

Ji Xuehong hadn't shown up again—probably because she couldn't meet the conditions he'd set. Wang Mei, however, was diligent, continuing to fulfill her nightly duties as promised.

And in those quiet moments, he started to get a clearer picture of Wang Xueying.

On the surface, she was the perfect combination—beautiful, smart, and confident. But underneath that exterior, there was something off. She had become an upgraded version of a nerd, her mind constantly focused on her studies, but her attachment to him ran deep—too deep.

Wang Xiao couldn't help but be mildly concerned, yet he found her dedication amusing. As long as the conversation didn't involve him, she was completely normal. He wasn't entirely sure how her obsession with him had developed, but he didn't mind it. In fact, there was something endearing about it.

Today, however, Isabelle had just returned from Atlantia, only to leave again. This time, she was heading to the Imperial Capital to investigate a sinkhole that had swallowed up part of the city. Wang Xiao wasn't too concerned about that—his focus was elsewhere.

The sun was shining brightly through the windows, and Wang Xueying lay sprawled out on the couch, her phone raised above her, watching a movie. Wang Xiao lay atop her, his head resting comfortably on her chest, close enough to feel her warmth, his lips brushing against her exposed skin.

"Mmmmh... Brother, stop it!" she whined softly, her cheeks flushed as she squirmed beneath him. Her t-shirt had slipped off one shoulder, revealing her smooth, pale skin. He pressed his lips against her neck, gently nibbling, sending a shiver through her body. She let out a frustrated huff but didn't push him away.

Her phone wobbled in her hands, her attention torn between her movie and the sensation of his lips trailing along her skin.

"I'm trying to watch this..." she muttered, trying to keep her focus as he continued kissing her face and neck, each kiss making her twitch.

Her legs shifted under him, but she made no serious attempt to move away, clearly torn between the distraction and her flimsy protest.
