Chapter 548: Imperial Captial!
Chapter 548: Imperial Captial!
"You… want to sleep with me?" she asked hesitantly, unsure of what else to say.
"What else?" Wang Xiao rolled his eyes, clearly unimpressed by her question. "Don't tell me you're going to spout some nonsense about 'spiritual love' or 'untouched purity,' because if you do…"
He let the threat sink into her head, his tone sharpening just enough to let her know he wouldn't take kindly to such ideas.
Wang Xueying's mind buzzed as conflicting thoughts swirled within her.
'A man and woman having sex and sleeping together…'
There's nothing wrong with that.
But the moment she remembered that Wang Xiao was her younger brother and she was the elder sister, a wave of discomfort washed over her, as though something was fundamentally wrong with the situation.
Her face burned with embarrassment, her body heating up as her confusion deepened.
Yet, mixed with that shame was undeniable excitement. The forbidden nature of it sent a thrill through her, and she couldn't help but bite her lip, staring at Wang Xiao's face.
He seemed patient, as if waiting for her to make some decision so he could finally "fix" her.
"Okay!" she blurted, forcing herself to suppress her buzzing thoughts. Pressing her lips together, she nodded. "But you can't tell anyone. Not even Mei or Jiarong. And we won't do it in my room—it'll alert everyone."
Wang Xiao's face twitched at her conditions.
'What's with this secrecy?' He had imagined something far more indulgent—a foursome with all of his sisters eventually—but now she wanted to keep things hidden?
He had even casually mentioned it to Mei, who merely rolled her eyes at his bold ambitions but didn't protest, as if silently challenging him.
If he could actually handle all three, then good luck.
Wang Mei didn't doubt his strength, but she certainly didn't believe Wang Jiarong would ever submit to him like the others.
She wasn't the type to be easily subdued like her, nor was she obsessed with him the way Wang Xueying was.
Suddenly, Wang Xiao grabbed her hand and stood up from the couch, pulling her along with him.
Wang Xueying blinked in confusion, hurriedly grabbing the bedsheet to cover her body.
"What are you doing?" she asked, frowning.
"Let's go to a hotel," Wang Xiao said casually, as though it were the most obvious solution.
"..." Wang Xueying's eyes widened in disbelief. "No," she said firmly.
Wang Xiao raised an eyebrow, suspicion creeping into his expression. He hadn't expected her refusal.
Blushing deeply, Wang Xueying glanced down at the floor, avoiding his gaze. "I-I have to meet Isabelle later… You can come with me," she mumbled. In truth, she was trying to buy herself some time.
If everything went well, maybe she could go to the hotel with him afterward.
Her heart pounded in her chest as she mentally ran through a checklist of things she hadn't prepared for. 'What am I forgetting?' she thought, her mind filled with anxiety and nervousness.
She needed to talk to Isabelle—secretly, of course. She wanted to ask if something could go wrong with them sleeping together, and what precautions they should take.
It wasn't that she had forgotten her biology lessons; on the contrary, her plan had already been in motion.
Isabelle had given her advice on how to handle things, that would ensure there would be no side effects or unwanted consequences from their night together.
If it weren't for her needing to confirm the final details with Isabelle, there would've been no reason to refuse the hotel offer.

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!
The chopper blades whipped through the air, the powerful sound vibrating through the cabin as the sleek machine idled outside the Center for Advanced Research.
The rhythmic hum of the rotors added a strange thrill to the atmosphere.
"Agh... Isabelle, I thought we were just checking out a site! Why are we in a chopper?" Wang Xueying complained, squirming in the backseat, her slender legs brushing awkwardly against the interior as she struggled to put on her headset.
Seated next to the pilot, Isabelle looked like she belonged in some fantasy, her long, perfect legs stretched out, her graceful figure drawing more attention than any scenery. She barely glanced back, her voice laced with amusement as she answered teasingly, "The site's in the Imperial Capital."
"..."
Wang Xueying's face flushed, her mind spiraling into frustration. When Isabelle had dragged her from the lab, she'd made it sound like a simple visit—she hadn't said a word about flying to the Imperial Capital!
Now, here they were, and she hadn't even been briefed properly.
"T-Then why is 'he' coming?" Wang Xueying blurted, pointing at Wang Xiao. He sat comfortably across from her, looking far too casual, as if he rode choppers every day, his headset perfectly in place.
Wang Xiao's eyes met hers, an eyebrow raised in confusion. "Huh? Why am I coming?" he asked, clearly oblivious but enjoying the view of the two women seated before him.
Isabelle blinked, her lips curving into a sly smile as she glanced at Wang Xiao. "Want to throw him out?" she asked, her voice almost too sweet.
"No," Wang Xueying snapped, glaring at Isabelle before letting out a heavy sigh.
Her whole body felt like it was on fire, her skin sensitive under the gaze of the two of them.
'I was only here for guidance,' she reminded herself, though her thoughts wandered more than she'd care to admit.
And now, with Wang Xiao tagging along—looking far too smug and relaxed—it was hard to keep her head straight. Especially since they were heading to the Imperial Capital, a place that already gave her a headache. She still had to inform her mother, too, or she'd have a freak-out to deal with later.
Her gaze flickered back to Wang Xiao, who seemed completely at ease. 'Of course, he's got nothing better to do than fool around now a days...' She bit her lip, her frustration building as she tried to focus, but her thoughts kept slipping away.
__________
10th October, Imperial Capital!
The rising sun spilled its golden light across 'Phoenix Care Medical Center', casting a soft glow on its glass windows, which shimmered with a hypnotic allure, like the gaze of a temptress just out of reach.
The building stood tall, exuding warmth and promise for the hundreds that entered, the faint buzz of the crowd mingling with the rapid, purposeful footsteps of doctors and nurses who moved with an almost erotic grace through the hallways.
Wang Jiarong walked down the hall with a natural sway that drew attention without effort, her curvaceous figure hugged just enough by her crisp white coat to tease those who looked too long.
The fabric whispered against her body as she moved, her ponytail bouncing behind her with the kind of energy that suggested she was both professional and playfully untouchable. She held a clipboard, her sharp eyes scanning the day's tasks, but her mind wandered—fixated on the unexpected visit from her cousin, Qian Ruixin.
Qian Ruixin, the classic beauty, had always been the flower of the family—a delicate bloom in full spring.
