Chapter 102

102 Chapter 102: An expected Outcome

“An advanced artificial intelligence system that helps predict the best course of action to take in battle... I must say it is very effective” The silver-haired man said dryly.

“Do you still think Damian Briggs will win this fight?” the silver-haired man asked again.

“Of course!” Alex declared without hesitation and gazed at the silver-haired man as if he has seen an idiot.

“Do you really believe without his hands he would lose?” Alex asked with a raised eyebrow.

“Hahahaha! Nice one, nice one... I still wonder where you all get your blind confidence from!” The Silver-haired man seemed a bit pissed when he spoke.

“This is not confidence... I just know how strong my brother is... Even if they were two Mr. Blades there, wearing your little toys, Damian will still win”Alex said those words with a confused look on his face. It looked like he was stating the obvious to an ignorant fool.

With no other choice, Damian stormed forward fearlessly as he threw a powerful right fist forward!

—————

“KILL!!!”

.....

Boom!

His body shot back like a rocket, slamming into the wall behind him. He coughed up some blood and fell to his knees! Both of Damian’s hands were too damaged to fight with. The hung from his shoulder loosely as he struggled to get on his feet.

He inhales once again, taking in his tenth breath. By this time his skin was already scorching red and he wore the same indifferent look on his face while gazing at the approaching Mr. Blade.

“I really have no problem with the big four... All I hate is that look on their face... Those cold eyes that make you wonder how much these people look down on you... They gaze at people as if they are mere animals and not humans... You have inherited the same eyes, so you must pay the same price!” Mr. Blade said coldly as his gauntlets glowed red and he prepared for another punch.

“Insignificant worms like you can’t know the meaning behind these eyes... These eyes are a symbol of the hellish training we went through just to make sure we do not shame the name... If you know half of what I have gone through... You wouldn’t be here speaking trash!” Damian said as he took in another breath.

Thanks to Mr. Blade walking toward him so casually he was able to take in three breaths. The rumbling sound now could be heard throughout the arena, making the silver-haired man frown but he didn’t speak.

“Since you have enough energy to curse I will just assume I didn’t give you a good beating!” Mr. Blade growled as he stood over Damian like a tower and swung both his fists down like a comet!

Swoosh!

Damian gritted his teeth as he gathered as much energy as he could and sidestepped to the side.

“Die!” Damian screamed as he suddenly shot towards Mr. Blade the moment his feet touched the ground.

“Since you are so eager to die, don’t blame me for being ruthless!” Mr. Blade laugh madly ash punched forward with both fists!

“Don’t, you fool!” Cherry suddenly sprang to his feet and screamed but it was already too late!

Damian swung his leg like an ax, dashing in for the kill!

Boom!

Damian’s legs struck the red gauntlets and a loud crack could be heard but this time it wasn’t from Damian!

“SHATTER!” Damian bellowed like an injured beast as his legs burst through the gauntlets, crushed Mr. Blade’s hands, and was still going!

KILL

Tracy covered her eyes as Damian’s feet struck Mr. Blade’s head and it exploded into a bloody paste! Even the shield from the combat suit couldn’t stop the powerful leg attack!

Boom!

The headless corpse flew to the other side of the arena, hitting the wall and sliding down. While Cherry looked at Damian with fear in his eyes, the masked silver-haired man remained silent like a statue.

“I told you if there were two Mr. Blades there... They would still lose” Alex said calmly as he put on his black gloves and his eyes pinned on Cherry.

He wasn’t sure about the voice that lead him in here but now is their chance to get out. Me Blade is dead and the mission can be considered successful. The only thing left is leaving this place successfully.

All he has to do now is defeat a B rated deviant

“I wish you good luck in your match” the Silver-haired man said absent-mindedly just when Alex was about to walk away.

Alex paused and gave the man a strange look before walking away.

On his way down the stairs, he saw Damian limping up the stairs. He was badly hurt and even now he refuses to get help.

“Broken yet he refuses to show weakness... As expected of the man I call brother...” Alex laughed and Damian forced a smile.

“That dog came barking at the wrong tree.., so I sent him running...” Damian responded.

“Nice!” Alex said with a bright smile as he dished out a thumbs up and said.

“I would have loved to give you a high five buy right now... No, let me not just go there” Alex struggled to prevent himself from laughing.

“You bastard!” Damian pretended to be angry at first but then ended up laughing.

The two laughed for a while before Damian’s face turned cold.

“He is a B rated guardian and he will most likely be wearing that combat suit... I know it sounds strange hearing this from me but we both know you cannot win this. The odds against you are just too much” Damian said with a stern look.

“It’s not about what I can and cannot do right now... This is our only chance out... I have to give it a shot” Alex said with a bitter smile.

“Say the word and we go against that S S rated bastard right now... We battle till the end and die fighting... That is a lot better than me getting forced to watch you get killed in the arena from the sidelines!” Damian gritted his teeth in frustration. He was cursing his weakness.

Pa!

Alex slapped his shoulder and walked past.

“You have done your part, now watch me do mine... I don’t want tips or weapons from you bro... All I want Is for you to have faith in me and cheer for me till the very end!” Alex growled with an intense fighting spirit in his eyes.
