Chapter 340 - 340 Change of plans

340 Change of plans

“From the very beginning, you have always been inferior to me and I simply chose to ignore your existence because you weren’t worth my time. But then, you just had to kill my best friend… This battle was predestined the moment you made up your mind to kill him” Danny explained calmly and smiled as he was done with his preparation.

For someone in an expensive attire like his, he does all he can to look his best even when in a fight. Dean frowned and slowly began walking forward. His hand opened and on his palm was a spinning card.

“I haven’t fought in more than a decade now though. So do take it easy with me” Silver said as he lit a cigarette and puffed up the smoke.

Impudent!

Dean Hall was done listening to his infuriating rants. If this man dares question the decree of the gods then he won’t mind proving him right. By the way, Danny was his next target after all, so he really didn’t have anything to lose.

Flap!

The card flew forward at the speed of light, reaching Danny in an instant but before it could reach him it struck something hard!

Peng!

The card spiraled back into Dean’s hand causing him to pale in fright as he looked up only to see a silver energy sphere surrounding Danny.

.....

“I’m guessing to kill Damian you must have caught him off guard. No one knew who you were or what you were capable of. They were unlucky and that was just the fact and it wasn’t because they were incompetent” Danny said with a straight face. He was clearly telling Dean that he only managed to kill Damian and Hazard because they were caught off guard and he shouldn’t let such a one-sided achievement get to his head.

No!

Roar!

Dean Hall roared as the cards exploded into blue flames and raced forward.

Hmph!

Silver snorted disdainfully as he threw his hand forward and released his tyrannical aura, booming fiercely. Unlike Damian who fell off in the power struggle, Danny held on and kept chasing after Alex and Silver. He had gone unnoticed for over a decadent or two simply because he was nurturing his strength in silence.

The terrifying silver ripples shattered everything in its path as it raced toward Dean. It tore through the blue flames and smashed into Dean, sending him spiraling out of the rooftop and into the sky!

….. Meanwhile…..

Alex stood in the center of the storm gazing at the two figures coldly. Strangely his black flames didn’t reach them and he knew why.

The Danite first prince!

Alex remembered smashing into a body of white flames, while his black flames could burn through it, it would need a bit of time to do this.

“Why must everything be complicated?” Alex sighed but he didn’t look disturbed, instead, he wore an amused smile.

The first Danite prince stood beside a white flame bear over seven feet tall even when on all fours. Its towering figure stood with a stern look on his face while gazing down at the duo, he was confident as long as the battle remained in this city the Dàn-T?? Emperor won’t be able to do a thing, not even destroy this world with his so called great power will work.

In the end, these people are stuck here with him, so he failed to understand why they would believe still hold on to hope.

“Silly children!” Alex snorted as he threw his hand forward and a powerful surge of black flames raced forward!

Hmph!

Seeing it the second Danite prince strode forward and quickly stomped the ground and the ground seemed to bend and twist as an earth dome was erected almost instantly!

Boom!

Everything was reduced to ashes but Alex stood in mid-air with a deep frown on his face as he gazed at the location where he once attacked.

“Your deity familiar… it has been released from the very beginning of I’m correct?” Alex asked with a raised eyebrow.

Hundreds of meters away, two figures emerged from the ground with stern looks on their faces.

Nothing gets past his eyes!

They inwardly commented. The deity familiar with the second Danite prince was far more unique than everyone believed. In fact, while the first prince controls the white flames the second prince controlled something even more terrifying.

Earth!

“I didn’t think you would be able to see it, especially since it’s not there and is hidden perfectly within my body,” The Danite prince said as he casually stripped while speaking in a confident tone.

Alex’s cold eyes shifted to the first prince who casually turned and began leaving, disregarding Alex’s presence.

Such disrespect!

Alex’s eyes squinted but before he could speak, the figure of the first prince was completely blocked by the second prince who bowed respectfully but this made Alex more uncomfortable.

“I apologize but there will be a change of plans… You see, my father had already predicted this outcome and had selected me to keep you busy while he and my brother kills Silver. That is why I must say this now, you cannot pass!” The Danite second prince completely removed his gear, revealing his ripped body with a strange symbol on his spine.

For some reason even though this man was obviously inferior to him, Alex could still feel the threat of danger from him. The same goes for the Danite first prince. Every single one of them seemed to have a way around things. They all carried the pride of an emperor and acted accordingly.

“The Dàn-T?? Emperor did produce very capable offsprings” Alex complimented as his eyes were on the two princes.

“Thank you for such kind words” The second prince responded.

“If we had all met in different circumstances I would have been more than happy to get to know you all personally. Unfortunately, fate brought us like this….” Alex said with a sad smile.

Deep down he was truly interested in powerful individuals like this who have different stories to tell about their challenging life.
