Betrayed by his former gang and thrown into the Rendhold Underprison, Dantes has spent the last five years scraping by. A whoreson of orcish, human, and elvish blood, he's lived on the periphery of the periphery, lying, cheating, and stealing to survive. After a run of bad luck, he's made a powerful enemy. Luckily, he's also gotten all the tools he needs to turn things around.A slow burn progression fantasy focused on rising through the criminal underworld of a city-state using newfound powers and quick wits.***MC's powers will develop slowly, but he will use them in creative ways to get ahead, and in the meantime he's not above just braining someone with a club.Anti-hero MC with a code.1500+ words per chapterCurrent schedule Tues-Thurs-SatThis is my first third-person novel length work, may be some accidental perspective switching, feel free to point it out. Enjoying so far, the variety of charcters and a not too dumb main character keeps it interesting.Looking for recommendations: Anything similar at least, in terms of quality, and preferably completed
This is good, its fun to read, it has different style from ur normal hot garbage chinese stuff, cant comment on theother part, its only has 43chp, first arc not even finished. If like rats and u want to read another novel with rat as character or even Mc, u can read "Tunnel Rat".
Tunnel rat is amazing. I second!
What did the parabola say to the hyperbola? Spoiler"Are you ok?"
NOHow about you?
Aw shucksI'm doing good, preparing for exams and all
Not much of a good story both author snd mc seem desperate for some reason
a fun one, loaded with action, some mysteries, secrets and a dark ambiance. chara progression actually happens. a cynic MC forced to hope again due to divine intervention. up to chap 43, still straight.
You can read, but it's worse than a dead man.the strange magic of Harry Potter and the presence of all the hackneyed races does not make the work better
Not long to balance this kingdom
Is it just me who doesn't like Scribblehub, Webnovel and RR? I feel like Webnovel has an absurd amount of bad novels, readers who keep giving 5 stars to absolutely any shitty novel doesn't help either. Nothing against newbie authors, but I'm not going to force myself to read a novel with a protagonist I can't stand and a horrible story. And my impression is that 99% of the stories there are like that.I personally only use these sites to read fanfics.
yes, on rr and webnovel the authors and admins delete negative reviews. in the webnovel it's mainly the authors, there are many bots commenting.
I already realized that Webnovel had a problem with bots commenting literally the same nonsense thing for 200 chapters, but deleting negative reviews and criticism is shocking, I can't even finish the first chapter of 5-star novels with millions of views on that site, I think that Wattpad writers have more prestige than that.
Any fanfic is better than most webnovels because they have passion put into it IMO
Personally SH is better for me although RR does have a larger library, most good books end up getting stubbed which doesn't happen much in SH since most of the authors don't really pursue it for a career. Webnovel is still the worst though.
Honestly, tell me where else to read novels if not on these three or pirated websites?
pandasnovel, pandamc(mostly 18+), royalroad
pandasnovel is a pirated website and royal road is one of the 3 they were talking about.
I have discovered hidden gems on Scribble Hub. I don't read much fanfictions nowadays since the majority of them are either harem or have evil protagonists, which I don't like. When it comes to fanfictions, I'm very picky, so luckily I was able to find some fanfictions on Scribble Hub which suit my taste.
Can you drop some suggestions?
Sure, here are some fanfictions on my reading list:Crows x souls (Naruto x Bleach crossover)Reborn in a daimyo's court (Naruto fanfic)Technomancer in the MCU (Marvel fanfic)Don't let Tobi out (Naruto fanfic. This is not on my reading list, but it's worth checking out)White knight (Batman fanfic)Marvel-ous ninjutsu (I think this one is mainstream)Fate/Hunter and his doll (Fate series x Bloodborne fanfic)Accidental liberator (GoT/ASOIAF fanfic. I'm still testing the waters with this one)Reborn as Enel (One Piece fanfic. I think most people know this one.)Daily drama (In American TV shows)Fanfictions that I read on FF.net:Thy Good Neighbor (Bloodborne x ASOIAF fanfic)Soldier adrift: Captain Westeros (MCU x ASOIAF fanfic)
I was going to drop my reading list of the best stories I have found so far on SH, but since you don't like harem and evil mc, I think you'll like:Reborn in Bleach as a hollow with a system,Marvel: Breezing Through History as an Eternal,One piece : Celestial Rose,A Space Whale in the MonsterVerse (AU),Fairy Tail: Shinigami;I must say that I'm not at the lastest chapter of some of this stories since I didn't read in SH for quite a while. There's also some stories that might not be trash and I never tried reading like:One Piece: The Desert Princess,Reincarnated As Young King of Meteor City(Meruem-HxH),Age of Charon,The Walking Dead: Warlord,Anyway, I realized that I never gave a chance to read dozens of novels and I think I'm going to read them again on Scribblehub, I didn't send famous novels like those written by the author 'VeganMaster' because you certainly already know, unfortunately I love novels with the evil protagonist and harem, so there are many good stories that I couldn't recommend to you.
Out of these three, I prefer SH over the other two. I use RR mainly for Pokemon fanfics (yes) and for a bit of a more "serious" writing style. SH i use as my go-to for non-oriental novels. Webnovel.....it's...mmmm...yeah, no.
I don't know why people will just decide to waste their time reading my comment when clearly I have nothing to say. And this person is still reading it
And I'll read it again FOOL
Heck ya we'll keep reading it again and again!
2days passed but i am still reading it...
