Chapter 570 Seek Death

“Master Daphne will not come here easily. One might fail to ask for his help if he’s willing to offer a big sum of money.”

Casper wanted to invite Master Daphne. But Master Daphne was the great mage of the temple, which meant he would not leave the temple easily.

The last time the master left was ten years ago. He went to take part in a debate on the classics of Buddhism. If not for an important Buddhist activity, the master would not leave the temple.

“Wangji was beaten up like that. I assume his master should avenge him. In the novels I read, those powerful masters are very protective of their disciples.” The pretty assistant tried to convince Casper.

She hated Maximilian to her guts. She would not feel relieved unless Maximilian was killed by Master Daphne.

Casper also felt uncomfortable. Kneeling before Maximilian made him feel deeply insulted.

“You’re right. We should give it a try at least. It would be best if the master can come here personally. If not, he would at least send some powerful monks. Anyway, I will have my vengeance!”

“You’re right. That Maximilian is so cocky. He must know your capability. We cannot let him be so carefree.”

Casper narrowed his eyes and said in a low voice, “Summon the other threes monks to the hospital. Then record Wangji’s current condition and send it to the master.”

“As you wish.” The pretty assistant walked out to prepare when the ambulance came. Then medical staff put Wangji on a stretcher.

The ambulance headed towards the hospital, followed by Casper, the assistant and the three monks.

In the car, Zach, who was a good friend of Wangji, glared at Casper and said anxiously, “Boss, what happened? How did my senior get injured?”

He knew well of Wangji’s capability and could hardly believe that someone beat him so badly that he needed to go to the hospital.

A hint of dissatisfaction flashed through Casper’s eyes. But he suppressed his anger and said with a smile.

“He encountered a powerful man. Of course, I’m also responsible for his injury. I will have Wangji cured, no matter how much it costs.”

“Which master hurt my senior? I will avenge him!” Zach growled with excitement.

“Zach, don’t be rash. Are you better than your senior? It already pains me to see Wangji like that. If you got hurt as well, how am I supposed to face Master Daphne?”

Then Casper thought that if the rest of the monk were hurt or killed, Master Daphne must be enraged.

If the master got angry, he might come here to fight with Maximilian personally!

“If we can’t avenge Wangji, we will be ashamed in front of our master! Don’t you agree?”

Zach looked at the other two monks, urging them to show their attitudes.

The other two nodded and seemed to regard Maximilian as their common enemy.

“Zach’s right. We ought to avenge for Wangji. Boss, please tell me about this person and we shall have our vengeance ASAP.”

Casper feigned with hesitation, “What if you all ended up like your senior? I don’t know how to face Master Daphne.”

“That’s not your concern. Please tell us about the man now!” Zach sounded so angry that he seemed to grasp Casper’s collar in the next second.

These monks didn’t have much respect for Casper, who had always been very polite to them.

Seeing that he almost got what he wanted, Casper sighed, “Well, his name’s Maximilian.”

The moment he mentioned his name, the pretty assistant took out papers about Maximilian’s information and showed them to Zach.

“It’s his information, including his phone number and address.”

Zach snatched the papers from the assistant and began reading it. “Arrange a car for us now. I shall kill him tonight!”

“Aright. Driver, stop.”

The driver then stopped the car. Then Casper asked the car behind them to send the monks to Maximilian.

Upon seeing the three getting into the car, Casper smiled viciously.

“If these brainless monks got killed by Maximilian, Master Daphne would definitely come down the mountain.”

“Boss, you are so clever. I knew you could think of a way.”

The pretty assistant used the opportunity to curry favor with her boss.

Casper then laughed with pride and felt his sorrow swept away as he held the women in his arms.

“Now let’s go to the hospital to check on Wangji.”

It didn’t take long before they arrived. After asking some questions, they knew Wangji was in the operation room.

After waiting for about half an hour, Casper assumed Zach and the other monks should have arrived at Maximilian’s house.

“Hope they just die in the hands of Maximilian.”

While Casper whispered some words, the door was opened and Wangji was pushed out of the room.

Casper instantly asked, “Doc, how’s my friend?”

“He’s practicing martial arts? His flesh is so hard to cut that it broke several knives.”

The doctor complained, “Nine of his ribs were broken. But they are fixed now. His lung and livers are penetrated by the broken bones. If not for his martial arts, he could have died already. Tell him to be more careful from now on.

“So he’s out of danger?” Casper probed.

“I don’t know. It seems that his spine also has a problem. We assume it cracked, so we didn’t do anything to it now. But when he gets better, I suggest you transfer him to a foreign hospital. His broken spine might press his nerves and cause a paralysis in the future.”

Casper gasped because a paralysis wasn’t anything good. If he was paralyzed, he might prefer death than dying on the bed.

He walked into the ward and sighed as Wangji woke up.

The monk seemed confused when he saw the surroundings. Then he closed his eyes, trying to remember what happened.

Then he thought of Maximilian’s blow that sent him flying, and his eyes snapped open.

“Casper, are you here?”
