Carl was dead under his subordinates’ hands.

His subordinates didn’t forget to send his master a message after they took away his phone and transferred all his money out.

After sending the text message, no one remained to deal with his body.

At this time, Maximilian left the hotel together with Victoria and Flora. When he was at the gate of the hotel, Maximilian’s eyes squinted and looked to the opposite building, sensing that there was someone spying on him.

Noticing Maximilian remained still, Victoria asked curiously, “What’s wrong with you? Why don’t you move?”

“Nothing. An important issue just comes to my mind. You can go and find your father and the others. I have to smoke a cigarette and ponder over for a while.”

Flora was doubtful and wanted to ask further. However, Victoria held her arm and dragged her away.

In the resident building on the other side of the street, Frankie and Kacper were spying on Maximilian with a telescope.

Kacper was nearly beaten to death by Maximilian. However, after several rounds of treatment with experiment drugs, he finally came to life from coma.

He was more powerful and cruel than what he used to be, and had become a true killing machine.

After being sent back to the other side of the Pacific Ocean, Frankie was injected with special drugs to make him stronger, and had participated in various special trainings. He had killed dozens of people after many combats, and he couldn’t wait to revenge on Maximilian anymore.

Kacper hated Maximilian as well. Hence, both of them decided to return from oversea and took their revenge.

They had watched Maximilian for a long time in his fight with Preston.

After watching the recordings for many times, both of them thought they were able to defeat Maximilian this time.

Their appearance was a bit weird with rigid cheeks, as if they had injected hyaluronic acid. Besides, they were stronger than before with piles of muscles, looking liking two fitness lunatics.

Their hands looked even stranger, because their fingernails were thick and black, with an oily polish on the surface, seeming to be poisoned.

“Maximilian can only show off in front of a bunch of weak guys. He has never seen the true master. This time I must beat him to death!”

Kacper murmured, sticking out his tongue and licked his lip. His tongue was red, thin, and there was a fork in its tip, as if it was a snake’s tongue.

That was sequelae of his treatment. Although he survived from the last attack, he looked quite abnormal, and had become a half-beast.

Every time he looked at himself in the mirror, he would be disgusted by his own appearance. However, he still stuck to seeing himself in the mirror every day, so as to remind himself that it was Maximilian who brought him the shame.

Frankie looked no better than Kacper. In order to build up strength, his body suffered permanent damage and he looked extremely ugly.

“It is Maximilian’s fault to make us look like this. We must let him pay for what he had done to us.”

Frankie was hostile towards Maximilian. He simply wanted to hang out with a girl and had never expected that he would be caught in a lie.

Since then, Frankie called Barret to beat Maximilian. However, Barret was completely beaten up by Maximilian, and he was also badly injured. If it were not Thompson who saved him and sent him to the foreign country, he wouldn’t have survived it.

“Hiss! Double? How can we double that? He only has one life. We could only kick his ass and humiliate him before he dies. Although both of us look weird, we are much more powerful than before, and I like this feeling very much.”

Kacper sneered and waved his hand. One of his nails flew out and knocked into the wall on the opposite side, shooting it through and making a distinct hole.

“Hiss! It is much better than a knife. I can even kill people before they are aware of it. Maximilian must die this time and nobody can save him.”

Frankie looked at his fingernails and found a new fingernail already grew up.

“You really have a great power. It’s a shame that I only get pure strength and can never compare with you.”

“Your body has intensified in both strength and defense. You don’t have to admire me. Both of us have our own advantage.”

They looked at each other and showed a friendly smile, then they raised the telescope to observe Maximilian.

Staying in the hotel on the other side of the road, Maximilian raised up his head to find which floor they were in. Frankie and Kacper were both afraid that Maximilian would find their spot.

They moved from the window to the wall next to it, trying to hide from him.

“Do you think he can find us? Has he noticed us or he just looks towards this direct accidentally?”

“It seems that there is something wrong. Maximilian asked the two women to leave; however, he was standing alone in front of the hotel…”

Kacper was calmer. After analyzing Maximilian’s series of behaviour, he thought there was a great chance they were found.

When he was thinking, Master Benedict came with several subordinates to support Maximilian.

After Victoria and Flora getting back to Marcus and the others, Victoria told Master Benedict what happened just now.

Master Benedict was concerned about Maximilian’s safety and brought several subordinates with him here.

“Young lord, what are you doing here?”

“Why are you here? Did Victoria tell you what happened?”

“Yes, she is worried about you. That’s why I bring several subordinates here.”

When Master Benedict was saying this, he kept looking around. However, he found no one was around and nothing was wrong.

Hiding in the residential buildings, Kacper looked through the window and found Master Benedict was standing next to Maximilian.

His first reaction was that Maximilian had summoned a group of people to chase after them and they must have notice where they were.

“Damn it! Maximilian calls his subordinates here. I know there is something wrong. It seems he has found us. What are we going to do next? Withdraw or attack?”

“Do you think there is a chance for us to withdraw? You know both of us don’t have enough time. We’re sneaking out secretly. If we can’t kill Maximilian this time, we will be caught again for more experiments!”
