Chapter 698 A Fair Enough Price

The fear inside of Keegan was growing, making him uncontrollably retreat step by step, as Maximilian was getting closer and closer. Suddenly, a man broke through the crowd of bystanders and strode into the balcony in a mess, and he was one of the Merry Club's directors.

The director confirmed that the man seemed in a dilemma was the extravagant young man Keegan, and believed that if the young man became one of his customers, he would definitely get a promotion and pay increase.

His attention was then turned to the four men lying on the ground, Maximilian, a man with a rather unfamiliar face to him, and finally the two ladies sitting on the sofa. He then drew a conclusion that this resulted from an emotional dispute.

He then confirmed again that Maximilian was not someone special here, stood by the side of Keegan and shouted at Maximilian, "Just look at what you have done here! How dare you cause such trouble in Merry Club?"

Finding that someone stepped forward and spoke for him, Keegan was encouraged and said to the director, "It's better for Merry Club to beat such kind of rioter out of this place, Mr. director!"

The director figured out what Keegan was really trying to say, picked up the inter-phone from his belt and called, "Attention please, security group, we need help here."

"Security group copy, what's going on?" Said from the other end.

"The location is a small size balcony in A zone. There is a rioter who has hurt four men here. Please inform Mr. Nelson and tell him to bring some men here."

"What? Ridiculous! Mr. Nelson is on his way!" The security guard from the other end sighed and hung up.

Flora stood up, pointed at the director and said angrily, "What's wrong with you? It is them who should be responsible for intruding into our balcony and starting the fight!"

"I'm sorry, lady. But what's in my eyes is that one man is standing, and four men are down. The rioter needs to pay for that." The director answered.

"What did you..." Flora was about to continue, but Maximilian stopped her with a hint in his eyes. He then walked to the middle of the two ladies, sat down and said, "Calm down, and there is no need for us to argue with them. All we need to do is to wait and see."

"Yes! I'm happy to wait and see your black and blue face later when the guards come!" Keegan said, glaring at Maximilian and imagining what this man would be like after the security group came.

However, the director found that something was not right. He was far too steady to wait for a coming threat. 'I'm afraid that he has something in reverse, maybe it's better for me to let the guards take action first later.' The director thought.

Soon, a group of well-rounded bodyguards had arrived on the balcony, and their leader Mr. Nelson was a man of 1.9 meters height with a wide shape.

"What's going on here?" Mr. Nelson asked and ran his eyes over the whole balcony. His attention was attracted by the man sitting on the sofa, the man with a face that he could never forget nor ever disobey.

"Good to have you here, Mr. Nelson!" The director came up, gave a warm greeting to Mr. Nelson, and continued, "I would like to introduce to you the great guest of our karaoke, Mr. Keegan. And the situation is that four of Mr. Keegan's friends were beaten by the rioter on the sofa, and the man was even trying to threaten Mr. Keegan with violence."

Keegan was about to burst with anger to see the easy face and steady mood of Maximilian, and decided to solve this with his money, "Mr. Nelson, I will give you a fair enough price to fix that asshole sitting on the sofa called Maximilian!"

Hearing the name of Maximilian, Mr. Nelson was suddenly uncontrollably trembling and thought, 'Maximilian? Do you have any ideas about who Maximilian is? What the fuck is in your mind to provoke such a great man like him? I'm not going to die with you, little fool!'

Mr. Nelson ignored Keegan, went straight to Maximilian with a flattering smile and then stood firmly in front of him, "Greetings, Mr. Maximilian! I'm Nelson, I worked for Mr. Connor Davies, as your service!"

The people there were all shocked and confused by the actions of Mr. Nelson. They looked at Maximilian and Mr. Nelson, trying to figure out the current situation.

"Mr. Nelson, I'm wondering what kind of fair price the guy is ready to give after you and your fellows fix me. Could you check it for me by asking him, please?" Said Maximilian.

"Roger that!" Mr. Nelson gave a hint to his men, and they were then immediately rushed to Keegan, caught his arms and gave a hard kick to his knee, making him kneeled on the ground.

Mr. Nelson went to Keegan and crouched, grabbing him by his hair and asking, "You hear that, boy. Now, I repeat: How much is the fair price for this affair exactly?"

With his arms caught by the other guards and hair grabbed by Mr. Nelson, Keegan was in great pain and cried, "Jesus, stop it! Hey, director, what the hell are the guards here doing? I'm a big guest to your karaoke, and every month I spend more than a million dollars here! How could your men do this to me?"

The cry had aroused the director, and he soon turned to Mr. Nelson and asked him hastily, "Stop it, Mr. Nelson! What are you doing to our guest?"

Mr. Nelson glared at the director and answered, "Just shut up and leave it to me, and this is my kind suggestion for your own good!"

The director was scared by the expression of his eyes and dared not to say anymore.

Mr. Nelson then kept working on his duty. Slapping on Keegan's face and leaving a red palm-print on it, he asked again, "I repeat: how much are you ready to pay? Answer it, boy!"

Keegan, weeping for his pain and trembling for fear, said, "OK! OK! I will pay a hundred thousand dollars for that! Just please, stop it... It really hurts!"

"Did I hear you right, Keegan? Only a hundred thousand dollars, seriously?" Maximilian looked at Keegan banteringly and said, "Fine, since you have made up your mind to buy someone to fix me with that amount, I think it is fair enough to let someone break the bones of your legs into five separately."

"Understood, Mr. Maximilian." Mr. Nelson responded, and the men of him had also prepared themselves for doing that.

"Don't! Please don't, Maximilian! I understand my bad now and please don't do that!" Cried Keegan.
