All people present held a deep breath because they never expected that Magnus would show up in the club. If this piece of news was found by others, they would discuss about it every day.

Canaan showed a serious look. He had heard about the legend of Magnus, knew that he was like a god in Southern Area and never met a competitor.

“Master, why don’t you tell me you will come?” Raylee walked towards him with an ingratiating smile.

“I notice that there is a new racing car club in H City, so I am here to have some fun.” Magnus didn’t even look at him and his tone was full of despise.

He would not express in this way if Raylee had won Canaan. However, he was so disappointed at his disciple was beaten.

Canaan speculated from his words that he was coming to revenge.

“I have heard that Magnus is coming to H City to find a competitor and lots of masters are beaten.”

“Yeah, many clubs are looking for him for endorsement.”

“It sounds that he is bound to win.”

Knowing his title as a legend, many people whispered and discussed about him. Although Canaan was good at driving, he couldn’t compare with a legend in people’s perception.

Raylee was delighted when hearing this. He knew his master was trying to make him not so embarrassed.

Magnus raised up his head and said in a presumptuous manner, “You are good at driving. How about having a competition with me? If you win, I can be the spokesman of your club.”

He believed Canaan would agree with him if he suggested to be his club’s spokesman because many people were begging him in the H City to be the spokesman for their club and he thought Canaan would be no exception.

“Sorry, I have already found a new spokesman.” Although it was a good thing that Magnus wanted to be his spokesman, he still spared this chance for Maximilian. In Canaan’s perception, his master was the best in his club.

Maximilian sneezed when he was driving and wondered, “Who is talking about me?”

He didn’t know that Canaan was praising him.

Magnus looked at Canaan confusedly. It was the first time for him to see that he was rejected despite he owned such a great honour as a drivers’ legend.

People also couldn’t figure out why Canaan denied the opportunity for letting Magnus to be the spokesman.

“Well, are you kidding? This is such a great chance.” Canaan’s friend tried to convince him.

Canaan didn’t conceal his feeling and replied frankly, “This endorsement belongs to my master.”

“Although you master is a celebrity, he can’t even compare with my master.” Raylee still tried to please his master.

Magnus found it pleasing and nodded in satisfaction, “I won’t give you a second chance, don’t regret.”

He deliberately gave Canaan time to make his final decision and to know how valuable this chance was.

Canaan didn’t reply him because he had already decided that Maximilian would be his spokesman. Besides, he could tell that Magnus was here to challenge his club, so it made it less impossible to agree with him.

Magnus squinted his eyes and found it surprising that Canaan refused him again.

“Master, how about showing us how good you are at driving? He will beg you for endorsement when seeing this.” Raylee tried to stirred up troubles and suggested.

Magnus smiled, “Are you the boss here? How about have a competition with me?”

Canaan knew there was a huge gap between Magnus and him. However, he wanted to learn how huge the gap was.

Raylee suddenly smiled when seeing Canaan agreed with his master because his master was a legend and was well-known even in H City. Canaan had lost the time he accepted the challenge.

“I really admire your courage.” Magnus was dissatisfied with the final result because he wished Canaan could directly declare he was defeated instead of accepting the challenge.

He came to the racing track together with Canaan and decided to finish the game in one round.

Although Canaan was a driver of some renown, most audience were on Magnus’s side. Finally, Magnus won the game, not easily, but with great effort, making him want to let Canaan be his disciple.

At this point, Maximilian was held up by a young in front of the club.

The guard looked Maximilian up and down and showed a disdainful expression when finding he was dressing in rags, “Where are you from? You don’t belong here. Fuck off!”

“Why I don’t belong here?” Maximilian didn’t expect that a guard would be so impolite and frowned in dissatisfaction.

The guard smiled and said, “Today is the opening day of our club and tickets have already been sold out. Only guests with power and fortune can come. Who are you?”

Maximilian was like a beggar in his eyes. If he let him get in, he will destroy their club’s image.

At this point, security captain noticed something was wrong and asked, “What’s going on?”

“This poor guy wants to get in. Do you think he is qualified?” The guard smiled in despise and complained.

The captain looked at Maximilian’s car subconsciously. Although it had stain on it and looked like an ordinary car, after serving many big names, he still noticed it was of great value.

He thought it was common for rich people to pretend to be ordinary people to join in the competition. Maybe Maximilian was one of them.

“Sir, there is still spare place inside. You can come in.” The captain was afraid of getting in trouble with the rich people and decided to invite him in no matter what his identity was.

“Captain, even we have spare place, we can’t let him in.” The young guard despised Maximilian and didn’t press the button to open the bar.

Maximilian frowned and couldn’t figure out a guard he never met would direct against him. It was truth that the world was full of people motivated by sheer vanity.

“I will come someone here if you don’t go away.” The young guard grabbed out the intercom and suddenly noticed Maximilian’s car behind.

It was a Lamborghini behind him. If the owner came and blamed him for being impolite, he had to take the responsibility.
