"The thief was skillful, and he can steal things at such a moment." Maximilian said tonelessly.

He kept staring at the thief's movements, but the thief did not know that he had stolen from a person that he should not provoke.

Flora sighed with a little regret, "We are really unlucky today. We met a thief as soon as we went out of the shop."

"Wait for me here for a while, and I will catch the thief." Maximilian smiled.

The thief dared to steal the jewelry from them and ran away. He could not bear that. Besides, he had seen the behavior of the thief.

To prove what he thought, he decided to catch up.

"Be careful."Flora and Victoria worry aloud at the same time.

Maximilian smiled gently at the girls and caught up like a gust of wind.

Flora could not help being shy when she thought of Maximilian's smile. Was he smiling at her?

The thief who had run wildly stopped. He took out what he had stolen today from his pocket and called someone, "Master, I’ll invite you to have some fun today."

Maximilian just laughed and held out his hand.

Maximilian was about to reach out his hands when the thief suddenly started to run. Maximilian's eyes narrowed slightly. No one could escape in front of him.

The thief became more and more scared while running because obviously, Maximilian could catch up, but he did not. He was panting, and if he continued running, he would have no strength.

He wiped his cold sweat and finally stopped. Seeing that Maximilian was still calm after running, the thief froze. They had almost gone around the mall three times, but Maximilian was not tired at all.

"Do not catch me, I will return everything to you." The thief knew that he could not run away. He was very thin, so he did not think about getting rid of Maximilian by fighting.

Maximilian said faintly, "No, you have to follow me."

Maximilian looked at the thief's face. He looked about twenty years old. Maximilian really wondered why he would choose to be a thief at such a young age.

"Do not go too far. Believe it or not, I’ll ask my master to steal all your things." The thief tried to intimidate Maximilian.

Maximilian smiled and asked, "Who is your master?"

"Barnaby." The thief told his master's name immediately.

Hearing that, Maximilian remembered that his stealing trick was exactly the same as Barnaby’s. He could not help laughing at him. It was so funny that the thief king had recruited a bunch of thief disciples.

"What’s up, are you afraid?" When the thief saw that Maximilian did not continue saying, he immediately raised his neck proudly, thinking that his master's fame scared Maximilian.

"Well, Barnaby. He’s my friend. Unexpectedly, you are his apprentice, so it's okay. Take him out. I want to have dinner with him."

Maximilian deliberately said this because he wanted to draw Barnaby out.

"Really?"The thief was simple and believed it subconsciously. After all, his master was the thief king. Although thieves were hated by everyone, Barnaby was famous at least.

He subconsciously thought that Maximilian had a good relationship with his master. If he had invited his master out, he would not be arrested, and perhaps he could have a rich friend.

Maximilian smiled innocently.

"Master, an old friend of yours wants to meet you and invite us to dinner."

"You can come anyway."

Barnaby hung up and touched his chin. He had traveled from place to place and known quite a few people. He thought that maybe he could renew acquaintance with the old friend.

Maximilian told them that he would wait for Barnaby in a nearby hotel. He sent a text message to Flora and Victoria, saying that he would go back later.

Soon, Barnaby had already arrived in the private room booked by Maximilian, but he did not know that he had entered Maximilian’s trap.

When he pushed open the door and saw Maximilian, he was shocked.

"Fuck. Why are you here?" Barnaby could not help swearing and feeling despair. Actually, he did not want to meet Maximilian again.

The apprentice of Barnaby was confused and could not understand why his master mood suddenly became so scared. He said stupidly, "Master, this is the old friend I told you on the phone."

"Is this your apprentice?" Maximilian smiled.

Barnaby's apprentice also saw that there was something wrong. He wondered whether he made his master in trouble.

Maximilian glanced at them angrily, "Stop. I don’t have such a grandson like you."
