The middle-aged man did not notice the change in Maximilian's expression and continued to show off the results of his research, introducing Maximilian to the effects of it one by one.

Maximilian took the truth potion and sprayed it on the middle-aged man's face. Then the middle-aged man suddenly stopped talking and turned silent with dumb eyes.

Maximilian asked tentatively, "Where is Harley?"

"I don't know, his whereabouts are very mysterious, and he has never told me about it."

"Then do you know where Harley is hiding Flora's parents?"

Maximilian had to change the question. "Not clear about it, but I know that Harley usually takes people to Jettown."

"What is Jettown?"

"Harley never told me. He said that Jettown is his life, the most important thing to him."

"Where exactly is the location?"

When Maximilian heard this, he was almost sure that Flora's parents were in Jettown, maybe under the careful guard of Harley. After getting the information, Maximilian could not help but start to ask follow- up questions.

The middle-aged man found a piece of paper and then wrote the address down.

Maximilian took the paper and checked twice to make sure that there was indeed such a place in H city. Then he left.

Ten minutes later, the middle-aged man came back to his senses. He rubbed his forehead and said, "What the hell just happened? Why did that man leave? Forget it, I should just continue with the experiment."

Then he just returned to focus on his experiment as if nothing had happened.

At this time, Maximilian still remembered to tell Captain Carr that someone was working on something dangerous. Captain Carr was the most suitable one to deal with this.

Maximilian looked at the car bomb in his hand. No matter who Harley was against with this bomb, since Maximilian found it, Harley was no way to succeed. As for the car bomb, Maximilian would keep it for now.

Maximilian followed the address on the paper to where Jettown was located. This place wasn't lively as he expected at all. Instead, it was run-down.

There was no one on the street and it seemed eerie. Occasionally, Maximilian saw some people moving around, they seemed to be on patrol.

Seeing the guard of the place, Maximilian found it not that easy to infiltrate this place. As he was trying to figure out a solution, he saw the patrol talking in sign language.

He was slightly stunned. Was it possible that sign language was the code? He subconsciously followed and began to learn the sign language, just a few ones.

He subconsciously walked out and ran into a group of people. Then they began to communicate in sign language. Maximilian also replied to them with sign languages.

Fortunately, Maximilian was a quicker learner and successfully cheated the patrol team.

If Harley knew that Maximilian learned the sign language he developed for a long time so quickly, he would be quite angry.

"Why are you alone?" Seeing that the code was right, those people finally began to talk to Maximilian.

Maximilian laughed, "My colleague went to the bathroom, he will be back later."

"Okay." Those people also believed Maximilian. When they were about to continue the patrol, Maximilian called out to stop them.

"Do you know where Flora's parents are being held?"

"Are you new here? Why don't you know about this? Her parents are kept in a room with a steel door on the right corner."

Maximilian smiled with his lips curling up when hearing this. He didn't expect to get the information so fast. These people were really stupid and told such important information so easily.

Without talking to these people any further, Maximilian went all the way to the room with a steel door. Since he had known the sign language, he wasn't stopped all the way.

He lay down to look into the iron door but saw nothing inside. Total black.

Maximilian turned on the flashlight and saw a middle-aged couple hiding in the corner. They were wearing shabby clothes and seemed to be in a mess.

Maximilian whispered when seeing them, "Are you Flora's parents?"

When the middle-aged couple heard someone calling for them, they looked at Maximilian with alert.

Maximilian repeatedly told them that he was coming to save them. Only after that did they let their guards down.

"Yes, we are Flora's parents, will you help us?" The couple inquired with excitement.

Maximilian nodded. Without saying a word, he crashed the fragile door with his hand.

Flora's parents were astonished to see Maximilian have skills. If they didn't see it with their own eyes, they couldn't believe it was true.

"You can come out now." Maximilian said.

Flora's father hurriedly signaled Maximilian to quiet down and said, "Keep your voice down, don't wake him up, that monster is sleeping."

Maximilian froze. Monster? It was the first time for him to hear such a word. He used the flashlight to light the room. And indeed, he saw a fur-covered monster lying there and the monster was snoring. Maximilian doubted whether the monster was a primate, though he seemed like a human.

However, to avoid unnecessary trouble, Maximilian asked Flora's parents to walk out slowly.

On their way, they accidentally touched the chain on the monster.

The monster immediately woke up. His deep eyes seemed horrible under the dark night. And he roared at Maximilian and Flora's parents.

His roar disturbed the quiet night and alerted the patrol. They immediately found out where the problem happened since there was only one room with a monster in it.

Maximilian's expression changed as he saw this. It was unavoidable. He had planned for the worst. It was better to expose than fail to save Flora's parents.

The fur monster pounced over. With his sharp claws, he could almost leave marks on the cement wall.

Maximilian immediately dragged Flora's parents over and looked at the monster coldly.

The fur monster kept roaring and the ground almost cracked. Maximilian wasn't moved at all. When the monster struck, he attacked him with his fist.

The fur monster made a whimpering sound. With Maximian's attack, he only retreated for several steps.
