"Mr. Lee, please," Vinnie said to Maximilian politely.

Maximilian nodded. Grace followed him but was stopped by Vinnie. He said, "Sorry, outsiders should stay out."

"She’s my friend. Let her in and she can help us." Maximilian said. He gave such an opportunity to Grace to repay him.

Besides, he had just promised Grace to go with him, so it was inappropriate to keep her out.

After hearing this, Vinnie became polite to Grace and did not stop her anymore.

Connor was waiting in a Lincoln stretch limousine. He saw Maximilian and hurriedly handed him a cigar and lit it for Maximilian with his own hands.

Anyone who witnessed what they did would be shocked. You know, Connor was one of the most powerful people in H City, but now he was so polite to Maximilian.

Grace was also stunned. According to Connor’s attitude to Maximilian, she realized that Maximilian must have a high position.

Maximilian said with a smile, "I’ll be your bodyguard later to ensure your safety."

Although Connor’s subordinates did not know the real strength of Maximilian, they kept silent after noticing the relationship between Mr. Connor and Maximilian. They looked at Maximilian up and down and wondered why he was so powerful.

After arriving at the destination, Connor also began to act. Although Connor knew they were faking it, he still felt nervous.

When Connor first entered, an assistant in a suit ran over and said, "Mr. Connor, please go upstairs to the private room."

Connor nodded and asked him to lead the way and followed the man. When he was about to enter the private room, the assistant said, "My master said that only three followers can be allowed to enter."

Connor froze slightly and immediately realized that they would be cheated. His master would not be so suspicious if he would treat them friendly.

Connor considered for a few seconds and then turned around to point at Maximilian, Grace, and Vinnie. Fortunately, he was allowed to bring three people in. If he could only enter alone, he would have no confidence in his heart.

Maximilian performed well. He opened the door for Connor like his real bodyguard. Maximilian went in and immediately saw the man sitting inside through the crack of the door. It turned out to be Harley Chang.

Maximilian's eyes narrowed slightly. He did not expect Harley to be here, which surprised him.

Maximilian was wearing sunglasses and a scarf, so he would not be recognized easily. Harley did not spot him at that time; otherwise, he would run away quickly.

"Ha-ha, nice to meet you." Harley laughed in a proud voice and looked very disgusting.

Connor did not know anything about the person who invited him. He frowned after seeing Harley, who was working for the Dragon Queen. Obviously, he became the target of the Dragon Queen.

Connor forced a smile, embarrassed and polite. He said," Mr. Chang, it’s you. You surprise me."

Connor was experienced, so he was not afraid at all. Besides, he became more relieved with Mr. Lee protecting him.

Then the waiter began to serve tea, and Harley said coldly to the waiter, "Unless I call you, do not come in and disturb us."

The waiter nodded and then went out with utensils.

Suddenly, Harley stopped smiling, touched his chin, and began to denounce Connor, "I heard that you fully support Topyuan Group, right?"

Connor immediately became disappointed. Sure enough, he was targeted by the Dragon Queen. He knew her temperament and estimated that they would make more trouble.
