Spencer immediately got angry when hearing this. He yelled at Maximilian, “You’re so ruthless. At least this time. I will be dead.”

He thought everything was terrible and he was sure to be dead. Now he was so nervous that he couldn’t hear anyone’s words.

Maximilian called his name many times and said, “Don’t worry. They are gone now.”

Spencer suddenly reminded what Maximilian had done and regarded him as hope. He tried to rely on him to save his life and said, “Mr. Lee, I believe you can save me. Please, Mr. Lee, save me.”

Maximilian frowned. He knew Spencer was not lying to him. However, he felt something was wrong. How could others find out Spencer was a traitor when he had confessed only a few minutes ago.

Maximilian looked up Spencer carefully and finally found the problem. Spencer was carrying with a detectaphone.

Maximilian hurriedly took it off and showed it to Spencer. However, Spencer was surprised to see this and didn’t know what was it.

“Well, what is it?” Spencer asked.

Maximilian crushed the detectaphone and answered him calmly, “It’s a detectaphone. It’s clear that they have overheard our speech and want to kill you.”

Spencer swallowed the saliva and found astonished at what happened right now, far beyond his acceptance.

“Well, don’t think too much. I will arrange people to protect you.” Maximilian decided to let Connor deal with him. He had lots of subordinates, enough to protect Spencer.

Maximilian didn’t worry there would be conflicts between Dragon Queen and Connor because he believed Regan wouldn’t easily contact her. Besides, Dragon Queen also wouldn’t contact Regan if nothing serious happened.

Adviser Ashton darkened his face. Losing again really upset him. Why the movements in martial art he tried so many times wouldn’t work on Maximilian?

He gritted his teeth and decided not to report Dragon Queen. He could only keep the thing to himself and tried to find another way. Suddenly, he reminded of Regan.

He could cooperate with Regan to improve efficiency. Thinking of this, he hurriedly contacted Regan.

After knowing Ashton was Dragon Queen’s subordinate, Regan finally agreed to meet him.

Regan was satisfied and said, “Well, Dragon Queen really made a good choice by letting you to be the adviser.”

Ashton made Regan tea politely and the latter one continued, “Let’s figure out how to deal with Maximilian.”

“Well, it’s really hard to go against Maximilian and I need more masters to kill him. I have heard you’re found of selecting killers by making them practise cannibalism in order to survive. Skilled killer must be left in the end. Is that true?” Ashton rubbed his hands together and asked.

Regan was proud of himself when hearing this and said, “Yes, indeed.”

“Mr. Saunders, how about cooperating with me? We also have a very talented killer and you can arrange yours. It’s a win-win cooperation.” Ashton said with a smile.

Regan also smiled and replied, “I wonder what killers are you talking about. If they are not famous enough, we have to reconsider the cooperation thing.”

“Mr. Saunders, they are leaders of octupole and Tai Chi boxing and really good at Kungfu. Do you think they are qualified?”

Ashton was also confident, otherwise, he wouldn’t easily asked for cooperation.

“Ok. The person I arrange has to be secret, but you can come with me to see his true strength.” Regan showed a cruel smile and invited Ashton.
