Chapter 667 Chapter 667:- First Meeting [I]
In the Dragon Palace,
Just like usual, everyone had breakfast together before everyone went to their separate paths.
Alicia and Sylvie returned to Westnia for some guild-related work.
Julia was experimenting with new variations of pills using the Dragon Grass and other rare herbs that Riya had grown for her.
Lara was learning under Amelia's guidance. Amelia was helping Lara in her cultivation. Later on, Amelia was going to show Lara the way to cook. She was going to teach her how to make food. Every day, it was the same thing. As a result, Amelia and Lara often almost the whole day together.
Amelia did not mind doing this. Since she has come to live here, she doesn't really have much to do. So teaching Lara is one of the ways that she is able to keep herself busy. Besides, teaching Lara is really fun.
As for The Goddess of Nature, Riya was busy restoring the forest around the Capital that completely had been wiped out.
As for Sasha, she had gone to the White Desert which is located in the Dry Savanna Continent. She had gone there for some work-related reason.
Alicia's parents also had returned back to the Ethereal empire.
So the only ones who were left doing nothing were Aditya and Lilith. Aditya was preparing for a meeting while Lilith simply had nothing else to do. She planned to sleep for the whole day.
"Lilith, I need your help." But it looked like things won't go according to her plan.
"Let me guess. You want me to use my charming powers to get some answers out of those 19 criminals." Lilith said with a smile mischievous smile.
Lilith still did not know that out of the 19 criminals 2 of them already had been killed.
"Yes...!!" Aditya nodded his head.
"But I will only help you if you give me a reward," Lilith asked with a wink.
"What reward?" Though Aditya could somewhat guess what type of reward she wanted.
"I will tell you later." It wouldn't be fun if she told him what she wanted. She was going to take her time and first prepare while he finished his meeting.

Scene change________
Aditya was informed by one of the Maids about Felix's arrival. Hearing this he quickly teleported to the old Castle in which he previously used to live.
Aditya suddenly appeared right in front of the meeting room door.
Click...!!!
As Aditya opened the door, he saw a young handsome man in his 20s. One thing that Aditya has learned after coming to this world is to never trust a cultivator's appearance. The cultivator's appearance could be very deceiving.
The usual way of thinking—that how someone looks shows how old they are—doesn't work for cultivators. This is because a cultivator could be a thousand years old but still look like they are in their twenties.
Age does not matter to cultivators.
He had short curly black hair.
As Aditya entered the room, Felix stood up and bowed his head to greet the Emperor.
Aditya sat opposite Felix before he told Felix to sit down as well.
"Sit down!!"
Although Felix sat down, his back never touched the backrest of the couch. His shoulders were stiff. He was staring at Aditya.
'So this is the Emperor of the Istarin Empire. He is way different than I had imagined.' Felix thought in his mind.
Since the Istarin Empire's private life was extremely secretive, outsiders had no idea what kind of lifestyle the Emperor lived. Even Felix had no idea how the Emperor lived.
Unlike other Emperors who built giant statues of their faces, the Istarin Emperor had no such statues. In fact, the Istarin Empire was the only Empire that did not have any statues of anyone.
Even though ordinary people might not notice these things, they told Felix a lot about the Istarin Emperor.
"Your Majesty, it's a deep honor for me to finally meet you." Felix once again stood up and bowed his head while greeting the Emperor.
"As you may already, I am Felix Mortem."
"I know. There is no need to bow your head to me twice. Please sit down." Aditya lightly said while gesturing Felix to sit down.
"Thank you, Your Majesty." After thanking the Emperor, Felix sat down. This time his stiff shoulders were slightly more relaxed.
'The Emperor is humble but not overly humble. Meaning he is being respectful but not too respectful; lowering himself. His way of speaking is gentle but the way he sits or the way he walks excludes an Aura of superiority.'
The Emperor was wearing a simple outfit that he normally wears. 'He is wearing a simple outfit which says that he prefers simplicity over wearing luxurious outfits. This also means that he isn't the type who would judge others based on their appearance. It's no wonder way why he was able to make this Empire rise to the very top in such a short period of time.'
'The Istarin Emperor turned out to be more interesting than I thought.' Felix thought with a smile on his face.
"Mr Felix, I have heard about you. I heard people call you the 'Warblade Merchant Felix'."
"Your Majesty, in front of you such names are nothing." Felix humbly replied.
'Well, he is not denying his nickname. Instead of commenting about his nickname, he chose to use it to flatter me instead. He is smart.' Aditya thought in his mind. But his expression never changed.
"By the way, I have prepared a little gift for you. I hope you will accept my gift."
"Thank you." Aditya politely thanked Felix though he wasn't interested in Felix's gift.
Felix took out a map from his storage ring and opened it in front of Aditya.
"This is my gift." However, Aditya wasn't focusing on Felix. Rather he was staring at the map. It was the map of the entire Southern region. Everything on the map looked normal except for one thing. On the map, there were almost 9 red dots which Aditya did not understand.
"If I may ask, what are these red dots supposed to represent?"
"These nine red spots that Your Majesty sees on the map mark where different groups of bad people have their secret spots and run their work. Each red dot stands for a hidden place where these groups, who do things outside the law, are doing their business away from the eyes of the Empire. They choose these places carefully so they can keep doing their bad deeds without being caught. These dots are scattered all over the map, showing that these criminal organizations have spread their operations across a wide area."
Hearing Felix's words, Aditya was rather shocked. Though he didn't show it on his face.
The reason he was shocked is that not even the Shadow Guardian division was able to find out anything about these criminals yet Felix was not only able to give him information about these criminals but also give him their locations.
Aditya thought the Istarin Empire's intelligence-gathering network could not be compared. Yet Felix, who was a Weapon merchant was able to get information that even Aditya couldn't get. This says a lot about Felix's information-
gathering capabilities.
"Your Majesty, do you like my gift?" Felix asked with a smile. There was a hint of pride and arrogance in his eyes.
"Of course, I like this gift. This gift is very valuable to me." Aditya said with a polite smile.
"I must say, I am impressed by your ability to gather information," Aditya commented. Aditya did not directly ask Felix about his sources.
"Well, as one of the biggest weapon merchants in the six continents, I must have my sources and connections to do my business." Felix cleverly did not say anything about his sources or his connections.
He could have chosen to not speak about this. But he intentionally let Aditya know that he has many sources for getting such information.
Of course, Aditya understood this as well. Aditya could already guess where this all was going. All of this was a part of his plan. From the beginning, Felix had planned all of this out.
'He purposely gave him a map with the locations of the gangs marked on it. He also hinted at the information-gathering sources that he had.'
'He did this intentionally to make me trust his abilities. All of this is just a part of the plan to make sure that he is able to sell his weapons to the Istarin Empire.' Aditya thought in his mind.
This move might have worked on other Kings. Aditya wasn't going to fall for this move. He would only buy weapons from Felix if the quality of his weapons met Aditya's expectations.
Although the Istarin Empire had ways of manufacturing their own weapons the speed of making weapons was really slow. Since the Empire only had one main blacksmith. However, that did not mean that the Empire was desperate for weapons.
During the goblin Invasion, Aditya had gathered more than enough weapons and pieces of armor.
Just because the Empire was capable of manufacturing weapons that did not mean the Empire should not purchase any weapons from outside merchants. Aditya wasn't arrogant enough to believe that his Empire's weapons were superior.
His mind was open. He was willing to see what kind of things Felix had to offer before making his decisions.
