Terra City

An interceptor-class ship hovered down from the sky, its sleek frame glistening under the midday sun as it descended onto the city's landing site. The hiss of pressurized air accompanied the ship's landing ramp as it extended, and from it emerged Klea. Her steps were purposeful, her aura commanding, but her heart pounded in her chest as she made her way swiftly toward Terra Palace.

Within the grand hall of the palace, Magus Rosia awaited her arrival. Their exchange was brief—mere nods of acknowledgment—before Rosia turned and led Klea deeper into the palace, down a series of secured corridors, until they reached a heavily warded chamber: the artificial waypoint room.

The air within the room was thick with energy, vibrating faintly from the intricate magical formations carved into the stone floor. At the center lay the artificial waypoints, glowing faintly with pale light. Four figures sat at the cardinal points of the chamber.

Chumo, Yuria, Grand Magus Anpu, the hybrid; and Morgana.

All four were Khaos Seeds and Champions, each linked to the mysterious primordial entity. They had spent days in meditation, pouring their senses into their personal waypoints, searching—for any trace of Emery.

Since Klea had sent them the dire news from Valaryn, they had not rested.

As Klea entered, the faint hum of magic filled the silence. Slowly, Chumo and Yuria opened their eyes, their expressions grave as they approached her. Chumo gave a slight shake of his head. "I can't find him"

Yuria added, her voice tinged with fatigue, "Nothing at all…"

Even Grand Magus Anpu rose, his gravelly voice carrying a faint edge of frustration. Klea swallowed, her eyes flickering briefly to Morgana, who remained unmoving. Despite their failure, all of them—including Klea—placed their hopes squarely on Morgana. Not only was she bound to one of the Khaos Guardians, she also shared a unique blood imprint with Emery, connecting their fates in ways no one else could understand.

The tension in the air was palpable as they waited in silence, their eyes locked on Morgana's still form. Minutes passed—Morgana's fiery eyes snapped open. Her gaze immediately met Klea's, and in that moment, the tension in the room seemed to ease.

"Is it true?" Klea's voice trembled slightly. "They say you can sense him?"

Morgana nodded slowly, her expression firm yet carrying a faint trace of exhaustion. "Yes, I can… I cannot reach him, I cannot speak to him, but I know—he is alive."

"Where is he? Do you know?" Klea pressed urgently, hope flickering in her voice.

Morgana's gaze became distant, her words heavy "Somewhere far… out of reach, even through the waypoints."

Though Klea had already heard this news, hearing it directly by Morgana herself carried a different weight. After a moment of silence, Morgana added "I will do everything I can to find him… and bring him home."

After a brief silence, Morgana spoke again, her voice filled with quiet resolve. "I will find him… and I will bring him home."

"How… how are you going to do that?" Morgana's response came with an unyielding intensity that silenced everyone around her. "The entity… Khaos… it wants me to do something. A task. And if I succeed, I believe I'll be able to reach out to him"

The weight of her words settled heavily over the group. A task given by a primordial wisp—a being older and more enigmatic than any of them could comprehend—was not something to be taken lightly. But at that moment, as Morgana stood there, her eyes glowing faintly with fiery resolve, Klea knew no one could do this other than her. All she could do now was place her trust in Morgana.

After delivering her final words, Morgana activated her waypoints and stepped into the swirling vortex of Khaos space. The endless void unfolded before her as she made her way toward the colossal floating rocks where the Four Gates of Khaos lay suspended in the abyss.

She noticed the massive cracks within Famine's gate. Yet Morgana already knew the answer—the crystal at the heart of the ruins had whispered its truth to her.

Steeling herself, Morgana approached the ancient, glowing crystal. Its faint light pulsed with a rhythm that felt almost alive. As her hand made contact with its smooth surface, the crystal responded immediately. Light burst forth, encasing her in a radiant glow and pulling her upward into the void.

Before her, a glowing wisp of pure energy materialized, flickering and pulsing with purpose. Its ethereal light illuminated her determined face as it began to speak—not with words, but with intentions and raw emotions conveyed directly into her mind.

She listened intently, absorbing the instructions with unwavering focus. But then, the wisp flared violently. Its gentle light transformed into an intense blaze, brilliant and unyielding. The flames coalesced, taking shape before her eyes.

From the inferno emerged a creature—a fiery silhouette that spread spectral wings before settling gracefully onto her outstretched arm. Morgana's surroundings wavered, distorted, and then abruptly shifted. Reality cracked like glass, and in the blink of an eye, she was somewhere new.

When her vision cleared, Morgana found herself standing amidst the ruins of what once must have been a grand fortress. The remnants of shattered towers and scorched earth stretched as far as the horizon. Ash and embers floated lazily through the air, painting the sky in hues of crimson and gray."What is this place?" she murmured

A deep, familiar presence stirred on her arm. The fiery creature perched there lifted its head, and its glowing eyes locked onto hers.

Realization struck her like a thunderclap. "You... you're Killgragah! Why have you become like this? What happened to you?"

The once-mighty dragon, who had once loomed like a god of fire and fury, was now reduced to this fragile, fiery wisp barely the length of her forearm. And yet, despite its diminished form, its presence remained immense, and its voice resonated within her mind with unshakable authority.

<Do not concern yourself with my state... Be prepared... Lord Khaos wishes you to tame a beast. I am here to assist.>

Morgana took a deep breath, the firelight dancing in her eyes as her resolve hardened. "Yes... I am ready."

Moments later, a deep, thunderous roar echoed from beyond the ruins. The ground trembled beneath her feet as a massive figure emerged from the shadows—a crimson dragon, its body wreathed in blazing flames that scorched everything in its path.

Unbeknownst to her, the beast she was tasked to tame was none other than the Red Demon's Crimson Elder Dragon.
