Earth's Greatest Magus

Chapter 1961 Thunder Leopard

Chapter 1961 Thunder Leopard

Chapter 1961  Thunder Leopard

Three medium-sized spaceships entered the Earth's solar system, their cloaking devices masking their approach as they glided through the cosmic expanse. Their destination was the blue planet, and on the central ship, a female magus respectfully addressed the formidable figure seated in the captain's chair.

"Chief Gaizan, we are 15 minutes away from our destination," she reported, her tone reflecting both reverence and admiration for the tough-looking hybrid magus with a face reminiscent of a tiger. Gaizan, a grand magus and chieftain of Thunder Leopard's pirates, exuded an air of authority as he observed the approaching planet with a content smile.

With a calm demeanor, Gaizan issued orders, causing the main screen to reveal the captains of the other two ships. They were his trusted aides, each holding a position of authority within the Thunder Leopard pirate faction. One was a massive and intimidating one-eyed man, while the other was a younger individual with tattoos adorning his face. Both held the esteemed status of full moon magus and captained over half a dozen magus each, making them indispensable members of Gaizan's formidable crew.

"Chief... this is just a lower realm planet; my crew alone is enough to deal with them," asserted the one-eyed captain confidently.

"No, please, Chief, send me. I will show how much stronger I have become," interjected the younger captain, eager to prove his worth. Annoyed by the younger man's confidence, the one-eyed captain scoffed, "Huh! How can you act so tough after such an embarrassing expedition."

The argument between the two captains escalated, their voices filling the air until Chief Gaizan erupted in anger, roaring, "SHUT UP!!"

Silenced by the chief's outburst, the two captains turned their attention to a long-haired man who stood before Chief Gaizan. This enigmatic figure, who dressed like a woman, was no ordinary crew member; his presence commanded attention. As he spoke, both captains listened intently, absorbing the gravity of the situation.

"The job is to fully destroy their base and to kill any magus defending them," the long-haired man explained, projecting information about their primary target, a young magus named Emery Ambrose.

The information shared left the one-eyed captain visibly perplexed. He questioned Chief Gaizan, confusion etched across his face. "Chief... he is only a half-moon magus. This information also said to expect low resistance of less than 10 magus. What am I missing here?"

In stark contrast, the young tattoo-faced captain exhibited a different reaction. As he glanced at the image of Emery, his expression transformed into one of stark fear. "Chief... this... this is the savage magus. In the expeditions... he... did... are we attacking his home?"

"The savage magus... Is it really him?" The name piqued interest in the one-eyed captain.

Emery's status as the number one rank at celestial expeditions for young magus didn't evoke such a reaction from these pirates. However, the name "Emery" carried a weight that surpassed the typical recognition. Not only was he well-known in their sector due to his reputation in the magus academy, but he had also recently wreaked havoc by destroying one of their faction allies, the Raven faction, causing significant losses for the pirate kings.

For the tattoo-faced captain, the memory of participating in the celestial ruin expedition lingered, and the encounter with the savage magus was vivid in his mind. He had been forced to relinquish his shards during that confrontation, marking a personal humiliation.

This recollection triggered an important piece of information, and he nervously addressed Chief Gaizan, "Chief... we cannot attack him... that... That bastard... He was backed by the Nephilim!"

"The Nephilim!! Yes, this area is owned by them. Then... How can we..." The one eye captain voice trailed off.

The mere mention of the Nephilim sent a shiver to all of them, causing the tattoo face captain to hesitate and contemplate turning back. However, Chief Gaizan's roar echoed through the ship.

"CALM THE FUCK DOWN!!" Chief Gaizan bellowed, his words cutting through the tension. "You are the captain of Thunder Leopards!! Have some fucking balls!"

The long-haired magus, still calm amidst the turmoil, addressed their concerns.

"You have nothing to worry about... if it's really protected by the Nephilim, who do you think dares to order the job? I assure you, no Nephilim will come for them." With a confident demeanor, he added, "Not even one magus enforcer will trouble us."

The assurance in the long-haired man's words had a calming effect on the crew. As one of the Pirate King's five Iron Guardians, he was a respected grand magus, on par with Chief Gaizan. The combined might of these two grand magus, along with the two dozen magus and a hundred saint warriors under their command, indeed made the assigned task appear as an overkill.

The once-fearful atmosphere now shifted to a renewed sense of determination. The Thunder Leopard pirates, renowned for their audacity, regained their composure.

To amplify their motivation, the long-haired magus revealed an enticing incentive, "Of course, we won't do the job for nothing." With a sly smile, he disclosed the presence of primordial wisp on the targeted planet—a rare and valuable resource that promised a fortune to those who could secure it.

After regaining his courage, the tattoo-faced captain, spoke up eagerly. "Chief... we can even gain a bounty for that magus's head!! The dark elves willing to pay good money for it... We will be rich!!" The promise of both primordial wisp and a bounty added an extra layer of allure to the mission, fueling the crew's excitement.

Witnessing the newfound enthusiasm among his crew, Chief Gaizan seized the moment. "This is a chance for us Thunder Leopards to finally gain our standings. Do not fuck this up!!" His words carried a sense of urgency and determination, rallying the pirates for the task that lay ahead.

Minutes later, the three ships arrived at their destination, deactivating their cloaking devices as they approached the Moon Base. The anticipation among the crew reached a fever pitch as they readied themselves for battle.
