Edge of the Apocalypse

Chapter 1150

Chapter 1150: Fire Burning Forest

"So it's a war chariot. A war chariot is just a war chariot. Why do you want to create such a ghost appearance? I really don't understand what you humans are thinking."

Walking on the flat highland, Hubble muttered to himself as he knocked on the beast-like front of the chariot beside him. Belmord shrugged his shoulders and said, "This is what Mr. Linz meant. He feels that this kind of design is more in line with the aesthetic standards of the humans on Planet Heaven. It won't make this new thing appear too abrupt and more acceptable."

"How many are there for a guy like this?" Hubble asked casually.

"It's all here," Belmord whispered. "Right now, Shadow Duchy's army is ready to move, according to Mr. Long. Once a war broke out, Mountain City would bear the brunt. If Mountain City fell, the Lyon Mountain Road would be in danger. If the foreign army attacked the Unicorn Ridge through the Lyon Mountain Ridge, it would pose a huge threat to the territory in this area. "That's why we're setting up our chariots in Mountain City now. We don't expect them to be able to beat Shadow Duchy back, but at least they can buy us time."

"Do you want to slow down death?" Hubble mocked.

Belmord did not respond and changed the topic, "You got information on Shadow Duchy's military deployment?"

"That's right, but now that they know my identity, they don't know if it will change temporarily."

'"I'm afraid not. The deployment of the army can't be completed overnight. Supplies, strategic supplies, distribution of experts, and so on, have to be decided early on. The plan is not one that can be changed immediately. If it is changed randomly, it will only cause chaos. However, it is necessary to make some detailed adjustments, but the overall impact will not be too great." "You came back just in time," said Belmord. "Young Master Alan has just arrived at Ark Harbor. Follow me to see him."

Hubble said, "Oh," and then said, "That brat is finally back. I was worried that he would be killed when he went north. It seems that he was lucky."

Belmord smiled. josei

***********

After a moment of daze, Alan felt the heat in the air. It was no longer high temperature, but almost as hot as boiling magma. Then, he smelled a somewhat choking charred smell, mixed with a pungent and pungent smell of sulfur, forming the unique smell of this boundless scarlet land in the depths of the world of consciousness. This was definitely not a place where humans could survive, but every time they entered this world, Alan felt like he was returning to his homeland.

This feeling made him feel incomparably intimate.

When he opened his eyes, they spat out fine flames. The flames retracted and condensed into a pair of burning eyes. Alan raised his hand and his body remained the same as before. There were orange-yellow lines on the newly born scarlet skin from the rock strata. As Allen breathed, the patterns became bright and dark, resonating with him. He examined the body. The crimson skin looked fragile, but it was actually much tougher than the surface, and could withstand high heat and most other energy shocks. As for the remaining rock formations, they were darker than before.

Crimson was almost brown, and there was a flame in the crack. Occasionally, a few drifting sparks would fly out from there. Alan raised his head, and the flames on his head gushed out, and his eyes lit up. With a single charge and a few jumps, he climbed a high slope. From here, one could see that this hilly region was still stretching forward. At the end of the hilly region, there was a surging flame. No one knew what it was. Farther away, there was a towering mountain peak. Occasionally, it would rush towards the pillars of fire in the sky, the burning clouds in the distance, and the faint figure of a giant on the horizon.

The world is so vast.

Allen couldn't help but let out a long howl. As he roared into the sky, azure flames sprayed out wildly. Rings of invisible fluctuations spread out from him, radiating a range close to several kilometers square of the mountains. When he calmed down, Alan heard some other sounds.

The sound of wings flapping.

He turned around and hundreds of fire children flew out of the valley behind him. These strange creatures flapped their ridiculous wings and flew towards Alan. The sound of wings flapping grew louder and louder. Not only did the Fire Boy fly out of the valley, but groups of Fire Boys flew out from where Alan's whistle could cover. Together, they numbered several thousand, forming a dense red cloud.

Then, the sound of chains dragging the ground rang out. The Fire Horned Demon with flames burning on its head also emerged from the cave where it was hiding. One of the exceptionally strong Fire Horned Demons even climbed up the slope. It had a reddish-brown skin and even dark lines that the other Fire Horned Demons did not have. The chains on its wrist were red and shiny, and if it touched the mountain wall or the ground, countless sparks would splatter out.

Alan could feel an aura stronger than the other Fire Horned Demons on its body. However, that was all. Allen had yet to put the thousands of fire children and the hundreds of fire horned demons in his eyes. He sneered, wanting to see how these creatures would deal with him. Unexpectedly, the Fire Horned Demon came to his side and stopped. Its body pressed against the ground, and all the flames on its head disappeared.

Not only that, but the rest of the Firehorned Demons were also in the same state. As for the Fire Boy in the air, he had dropped slightly lower than Allen, and his large eyes were looking at him with some fear. All of a sudden, Alan understood what these creatures meant, and they were submitting to him.

This reminded Ellen of the last time when the Fire Horned Demon appeared, it released its aura and commanded the Fire Child. This was a typical phenomenon of a superior dominating a subordinate's life. However, he did not expect that this kind of phenomenon would appear on his own body. At this moment, an oppressive aura appeared from behind Alan. He looked in the direction where the aura surged. It was outside the hilly region, within the flames.

This aura carried a certain provocative aura. Alan narrowed his eyes and was about to move forward. The Fire Horned Demon gently bit its foot on the ground. It raised its head and looked behind it. Alan understood and said, "You want me to sit on you?"

As soon as he spoke, Alan realized that he had actually used Eboynes' language. Unexpectedly, the Fire Horned Demon understood and nodded its head. Ellen immediately jumped onto the Fire Horned Demon and sat down on its neck, his hands clasped onto the two big corners. Ellen pointed in the direction where the aura was coming from and shouted, "Let's go!"

The Fire Horned Demon stood up again. Every line on its body lit up with flames. It roared loudly in that direction, then jumped out of the high slope and descended from mid-air. The Fire Horned Demon landed heavily on the ground, shaking up a circle of dust. With another push, it carried Alan into a dash.

Alan looked back, and the rest of the Firehorned Demons followed closely behind him. In the sky, there were groups of fire children. Like Alan's army, these creatures followed him through the rolling hills and valleys.

From the high slope, this hilly region seemed to be crossable in the blink of an eye. In reality, however, it was much broader than Allen had expected. Even though the Firehorn Demon was able to walk much faster than him, it had already been quite a while since he had reached the edge. This time, Ellen paid attention to the fact that it took him nearly two days to cross this hill if he were to convert it into the real world's flow of time.

After passing through the hills, Allen entered a flat open space. There were several large cracks in the open space, and flames surged out from the cracks. The Fire Horned Demon easily crossed these cracks. Not long after, he saw a continuous stretch of forest lines across the earth.

That's right, there's actually a forest here.

However, it was slightly different from the forest in the usual sense. The trees that Alan saw were not green leaves, but flames! Flames sprayed out from every branch of these strange trees, forming a fire crown. This was a burning forest. Very quickly, the Fire Horned Demon brought Alan into the Fire Forest and flew between the fire trees.

As he entered the forest, Alan keenly sensed that he had penetrated some sort of invisible barrier. This barrier did not seem to be used for defense, but rather as an alarm. Sure enough, after he entered the forest, a strange aura began to emerge on the road ahead.

Not long after, Alan saw a knight.

It was a humanoid creature. Its entire body was covered in fiery red armor, with a fiery cloak hanging behind its back, and it held a huge half-moon sickle in its hand. The blade of the sickle was made of pure flames. The warhorse beneath the knight was somewhat similar to the exotic beast Alan had seen when he first entered this world. Its body was covered in thick layers of rock, but on its back and hooves, it spat out dark red flames.

When he saw this knight, Alan could clearly feel that the Fire Horned Demon beneath him was somewhat uneasy. Obviously, that knight was a higher life in this world than the Fire Horned Demon.

The Flame Knight raised his sickle towards Allen and his army, sprayed out two streaks of fire from under the mask, and let out a thunderous roar.

Then screams came from all directions.

Behind and in front of the knight, from the ground or the fire tree, a few humanoids that were only half a man tall, with slender bodies, and rough swords in their hands, quickly rushed over. They looked like dwarves, with big heads and thin bodies, and looked ridiculous. However, the eyes and mouths of these dwarves flickered from time to time. Normal people wouldn't be able to laugh when they saw them. The Fire Dwarf's aura was not much stronger than the Fire Boy's, but there were many of them. At first glance, the forest was almost filled with these creatures.

A few more roars rang out in the forest.

A few tall figures appeared behind the Fire Dwarf. They were three meters tall and stood alongside the Fire Dwarf. They were simply giants. These giants emitted flames all over their bodies. They either held fire whips or raised fire axes in their hands. There was a huge demonic eye on their chests, and there was a huge opening in their abdomen. Giants walked past, occasionally mentioning an unlucky dwarf, and then tossed it into their mouths to chew.

When they got closer, Alan realized that these giants had no heads.

Beside the headless giant, there were also some Flame Knights. However, the auras of these knights were weaker. The armor on their bodies was dark red, and they looked much lighter than the previous knight. The warhorse beneath him did not spit out any flames, only occasionally shooting out flames from his eyes.

But no matter what, this army was far stronger than Allen's. Apart from the Fire Dwarf and the Fire Boy, the Headless Giant's aura was much stronger than the Fire Horned Demon's, and the weakened version of the Flame Knights were also much stronger than the Fire Horned Demon's. Even so, Allen had no intention of stopping.

Very quickly, the two armies met in the forest, and a great battle was about to break out!
