Edge of the Apocalypse

Chapter 859

Chapter 859: Heavenly Eye

There was a sudden commotion in the team.

The Alien Photographer at the back fought for an unknown reason, but he managed to attract the attention of the Catus. A few soldiers shouted as they stepped forward, wanting to separate the coolies from each other. Unexpectedly, he was beaten up by a few random fists, but the Catus had thick skin and flesh, so taking a few fists wasn't a problem at all. But the captives were miserable. The Catus kicked and punched, almost knocking down all the troublemakers.

The people in front were watching the fun, and the warriors on both sides asked them to squat down. There was an alien whose skin was bright blue and his entire body was sticky like he had just been pulled out of the water. He was originally tall and large, and on his octopus-like head, a small mouth inhaled heavily, and his body swelled to seven or eight meters tall. Like an inflatable doll, the alien waved his hands and sent the two Catu warriors flying.

The inflatable body bounced off the shackles on its hands and feet. These things could control the Origin Energy of the captive, but could not withstand the pressure from the physical plane. The alien who had regained his freedom was even more impressive. He bounced towards a group of Gaztu warriors, and dozens of miserable green water arrows suddenly sprayed out from his body. After being struck by these water arrows, the heavy armor melted and the skin and flesh corroded, causing the Catus to scream miserably.

Alan, who was hiding in the shadows, saw it. He didn't need to guess that it was a premeditated violence. First, the prisoners at the end of the line created a disturbance that attracted the attention of the Catus. Then, the alien who could change his body's signs exploded and attacked. After that, hundreds of Federation soldiers rebelled together. The current situation was rather out of control.

An imposing aura suddenly rose.

The five-toothed warrior picked up a short halberd in his hand and aimed it at the alien who looked like a flying ball. This elite of the Catu barbarians also possessed some true abilities. After injecting Origin Energy into his halberd, he dragged a hidden tail flame and heavily smashed it into the alien's chest. As if a balloon had been pierced through, the halberd easily entered his body. The alien's body disappeared and shrunk, and blue blood sprayed out from his chest.

With a successful strike, the five-toothed man still rushed forward. He cursed loudly, picked up a short halberd that had stabbed into the alien's body, and danced wildly.

Blood splashed everywhere.

The alien was barely an adult, but his upper body exploded when he was smashed by the Five-Toothed Halberd. Flesh and blood splashed everywhere, and a head rolled far away. Even Fifth Fang did not expect this to happen. He wanted to seriously injure this reckless fellow, but he unexpectedly killed the captive. The scene was bloody and fierce, causing the violent prisoners to quieten down.

Perhaps it was too tragic, but it caused Fifth Fang to feel a little blurry. He shook his head, and in the end forgot to punish the violent. The team left, leaving behind two warriors to clean up the scene. The Catus were not patient masters. They hastened to drag away the corpse of the deceased, but they forgot about the head that had rolled into the corner of the passage.

The head was on the ground not far from Ellen.

Alan was glad that it hadn't attracted the attention of the Catu warriors. No, to be exact, it was the big brain, but it suddenly opened its two mung bean-sized eyes. At this moment, his eyes met Allen's, and they looked at each other.

Catherine snorted, her hand on the handle of the snake sickle, her killing intent overwhelming!

Not knowing if it was stimulated by Katherine's killing intent, the alien's head actually jumped up from the ground, and then a string of hurried human words came out of his mouth: "Don't kill me!"

This time, even Alan was curious. They said that the universe contained billions of creatures, and that there were all kinds of life forms. Even Ellen, who was as big as a mountain range, had seen it before, but this was the first time he had seen an alien life that only had one head left. He immediately blocked Catherine's path and said to the alien, "Do you still speak human language?"

"There are quite a few of you humans here." The alien muttered to himself, then quickly poked out a bunch of fleshy beards from under his neck. The bunch of fleshy beards spread out and propped up the head. Then, six more antennae rose from the sides of the head, half to the left and half to the right, like the arm of an alien. However, such an abnormality was not enough to be said to be frightening, and it was quite strange to say that it took up ten percent of the total.

Seeing Alan looking at him curiously, the alien said, "There's nothing strange about it. Other than our heads, our Shui Mu people's bodies and limbs are all disguises. We can use them to move freely and sacrifice ourselves to confuse hunters when necessary. It's a big secret, but you've already seen it, so it's not a secret anymore."

"Jellyfish?" Alan asked.

"Shui Mu!" The alien emphasized.

Ellen shrugged and asked, "What's your name and what's going on here?" josei

"My name is Gigu Halley Vastombo" A string of long and unspeakable names. The alien seemed to have only said half of them before shaking his head and saying, "Forget it, just call me Gigu."

Suddenly, he seemed to recall something and said with a jump, "You don't know where this place is? Didn't you get caught by those damn Catus?"

His originally small mouth opened into an O, and his face was filled with astonishment.

"About this, it's a long story."

"Are you invaders?" The alien named Jigu suddenly became excited. His six tentacles fluttered and he said, "I heard about invaders before, but I didn't expect them to exist. So, where are you going? Are you going to deal with those people?"

Allen looked at the people behind him and smiled bitterly, "I would like to, but our numbers are limited. If we act rashly, we will only be involved. So, we will still follow our original plan and find a way to leave this place before bringing reinforcements."

"So we're going to the harbor? Jigu knows the way. Let me go with you … Eh …" Jigu rolled his eyes and took a deep breath. "Shit, it's the Heavenly Eyes. They really used them to search for you."

Before Alan could ask what the Heavenly Eye was, Jigu had already jumped up. It sucked in a large breath of air. It didn't know if it was its head or part of its body that swelled up just like that. This time, it didn't expand into a sphere, instead, it was a flattened body that stretched out in all directions. Very quickly, it formed a downward arc, easily wrapping everyone up. Alan opened his mouth, but before he could speak, he heard the alien say anxiously, "Silence."

He obediently shut his mouth, and then he heard a soft sound like static electricity. Then, a metal ball flew over his head. The sphere was divided into four electric eyes, and the four electric balls spun around randomly, scanning the surroundings. After discovering nothing, he flew towards the front of the passageway. Alan felt that it was strange. One of the lightning eyes had clearly seen them, but it was as if he hadn't discovered anything. From the looks of it, this alien should be credited.

After confirming that the ball had flown far away, Jigu released his aura and gradually retracted back to its normal state. He fell to the ground like a fallen leaf and exhaled, "So close. Looks like you really are intruders. Otherwise, you wouldn't have used the Heavenly Eyes on you."

Without waiting for Alan to ask, Jigu said, "The Heavenly Eye is the surveillance system of this base. There are 3,661 metal spheres like the one just now, covering the entire base." They were everywhere, in tunnels, barracks, warehouses, and even exhaust pipes. They could explore every corner of the base, forming the Heavenly Eye System. Fortunately, my disguise can be assimilated with the environment. Even the Heavenly Eyes can't tell. Otherwise, we'll be finished this time. "

"But if they send out their Heavenly Eyes, then we don't have to go anywhere," the little alien said with a sad expression. "Especially in the harbor, there must be Heavenly Eyes everywhere. Unless …"

"Unless what?" Alan finally had a chance to interrupt.

"Unless we go to the strange man's factory …" Jake pointed in the direction of the group of captives who had left earlier. "Those Catus bastards were supposed to escort us to the strange man's factory. That strange man hated being monitored, so it was the only place without a Heaven's Eye, but they had set up guards."

"It doesn't matter to the guards. There's always a way to deal with them. But who is that eccentric?"

"Piero, a Barre."

Alan immediately looked at Catherine, who also had a surprised expression on his face. The Barbarians could be said to be the most mysterious and powerful aliens in the Yordon Domain. In the rankings of the powerful races, the Barbarians were ranked first without any suspense. Their planet, Agares, was located in the deepest part of the Yordon Domain. On that chaotic and evil planet, there was sin everywhere, and there were peak flames everywhere.

Agares had two Paragons, both of whom were vicious characters that could rival Adahua Planet's King of Justice. The two Sovereigns were bounded by an endless sea of blood, each occupying half of Agares' world. Since records began, the two supreme beings had not fought yet, but their armies had fought for many years. There was such a terrifying legend in Agares. It was rumored that the blood sea of Agares was dyed with the blood of these two supreme armies.

God knew how much blood it would take to dye the entire ocean. Perhaps there were some legends that were incomplete, but it wasn't hard to tell that the thing Agares lacked the most was war.

If the Yordon Domain was called the Chaos Battlefield, then Agares was the Eternal Battlefield. On that battlefield, the war didn't stop for a day. However, even if it was such internal friction, it would still be strange not to see the Barbarians die. However, because of the continual civil war in Agares, the Barbarians intervened in the wars in the Yordon Domain. If Capullo hadn't led the golden lion to Omiska, one of the supreme beings who felt threatened would have taken action, causing the golden lion to retreat. After this battle, Capulo recovered for 20 years, which showed Agares' strength.

Alan and Catherine's expressions became unnatural when they heard that there were actually Barbarians in this space base. Alan couldn't help but ask, "What are the Barbarians doing here?"

'"Heavens knows, he came with Berukai, the fire fiend. That madman Piero wants us to work day and night. Could it be that everyone says that the Barbarians are devils! Devils!" Jigu said heavily.

Alan might not know who the fire fiend was, but Catherine of the Federation General knew Beelzebub's name. That was one of the Sovereign's subordinates, and he was worthy of the privilege of being a subordinate to a single person, more than ten million people. Along with another general, Berserk Demon Baal, they were both Frius' left and right arms. If Berukai was here, it would be equivalent to Frius' will descending here!
