Stephanie arrived at her father’s study and saw him on the phone. Still, she shouted, “Dad! Are you out of your mind? How could you let me become someone’s stepmother?”

Jack’s back was against her when he heard her voice. Shocked, he quickly hung up the call and thought that his daughter was too willful. She didn’t even care that he was on the phone.

“Didn’t you see I was talking to someone? Couldn’t you wait for a while longer?” Jack put down his phone. on the table and sat down on his chair. He already knew what his daughter was going to say.

Stephanie furiously placed her hands on the table and bellowed, “Dad! I’m not going to be someone’s stepmother. Not only is Elias a divorcee, but he also has a three-year-old son, How could marry him?”

However, Jack was unfazed. He leaned against the seat and said calmly. “It’s common in the business. world. You’re my only daughter, so please stop being short-sighted. “Well, I have my own way of achieving that, so please ask no further, Miss Bailey. Can we cut to the chase? There’s something I have to attend to after the discussion.”

Amanda replied, “It so happens that I’ll be busy soon. Let’s talk about it right now.”

After giving it some thought, Stephanie felt she had to put on an act. What should I tell her?
