Chapter 113 His Worries

CHAPTER 113
So many thoughts ran through Liu Xueyi's mind after she saw the video.
He had never wanted her to view such and was thinking about visiting her when she took hold of the opportunity to check the internet by herself.
His breathing came in short and heavy and more importantly he wished to be by her side.
Without thinking so much Liu Xueyi cast a glance around and then closed his laptop as he dashed out of his room.
He wasted no time and headed for his main bedroom to get his car keys when his eyes landed on the gift box she sent to him and paused.
'Yes. You know what. I'm sorry I have to go.'
Immediately the words she said last resounded in her mind, causing him to stop abruptly.
'No. I should let her be. It would be the best. But God!' Liu Xueyi threw his hands down, letting them fall limply at his side.
'Why her?'
He dropped the keys to the ground and sat down on his bed to think.
Minutes later, Liu Xueyi picked up his phone and placed a call again to the man he had asked to remove all traces of the thread online and the video, asking him to speed things up.
As much as he wanted to keep to her word and give her space, he couldn't bring himself to and in the end, Liu Xueyi found himself leaving the house to see her.
There was no one to stop him in his house which was a good thing, so he raced outside in a jiffy and pressed on his car key button.
The second the car came on, he heard a honk from afar and lifted his head up to see the familiar car.
He breathed out and turned off his car, then proceeded past it, to the front to wait for his visitor.
Soon enough, the car came to a stop in front of him and its driver highlighted.
All the while Liu Xueyi kept a calm front and waited for his friend to come close.
With a concerned filled face, Xu fang asked, "Brother, what's wrong?"
"I should have known you would hurry here this morning, Xu Fang. Sometimes I think you came to life in the wrong gender. You and Rong Bolin should have been girls."
Placing a hand playfully on his chest, Xu Fang cringe at Liu Xueyi's words before relaxing his brows and winking at him.
"I suppose, I would be a cute girl and then you and I can date, right? You won't reject this lovey baby, would you?"
"Eww!"
Immediately, Xu Fang latched onto his friend's arms like an eel, clinging to him as he tilted his head from side to side.
"Onii-chan," Xu Fang called pouting in the most seductive anime cute girl's voice he could muster. "Don't I look cute?"
He blinked adorably again and pressed his lips together, pushing for a kiss.
BANG!
OUCH!
A loud cry was heard when Liu Xueyi's fist landed on his head without mercy.
"Xueyi! What was the meaning of that?" Xu Fang thundered as he disengaged from his friend and rubbed the part where he was knocked.
"I thought your brain went AWOL. So, I gave the best remedy. I see it worked. If you want I can give another," he stepped forward in a threatening stance, causing Xu Fang to step back.
"Bully. No wonder Andromeda left you," Xu Fang blurted out without thinking.
Immediately, Liu Xueyi's eyes dimmed at him before dipping his head low and turning away.
Just watching his friend, Xu Fang felt a pang of guilt weigh down on his chest.
Without uttering a single word, he followed behind Liu Xueyi until they got inside.
All the while Xu Fang waited patiently for his friend. He had so many questions to ask but he wanted to go at Liu Xueyi's pace. So, he took things slow.
It took them a few minutes of silence before he broke the awkward air around them.
"Hey, I am so sorry about what I said earlier. I never meant it, you know," he began calmly.
"I know," Liu Xueyi blandly responded. "I'm just." He took in a deep breath and breathed out slowly.
"It is not like I do not know how this works and all but I feel so bad still," he explained briefly.
"Sure and it's because you love her," Xu Fang stated as a matter of fact.
All Liu Xueyi could say in response was a hum as he tilted his head further down, leaning it against his raised hand supported by his elbow on the couch's armrest.
"You can't be like this, Xueyi. Where is the man I know? You need to get ready and pay them back for what they did to her and also it is time to protect her."
"Sure. I would do so. But first, let's get this over with."
He blinked, managing a small smile on his lips as he sat up straight on his seat. "Ask away."
"Thank you. First of all, when was this incident if you claimed it was you?"
"The night you guys drugged me."
Xu Fang's eyelashes fluttered open and closed a lot in a second. "You said what now?"
"You heard me, Xu Fang. It was on that very night."
"Hey, you never told me you did two ladies that night. Oh my goodness, was the stuff we put in your drink that strong to give you such a boost with two women?"
Liu Xueyi's balled his fingers into a fist at his side, ensuring it was visible enough for his friend to see.
"Hehhee, I am curious," he chuckled lightly, hoping to satiate his friend's rage.
"One more stupid question and I would beat you up, then package you straight to the Sahara desert."
"Hey, I choose Africa. I'd rather go there than the dessert," Xu Fang quickly picked his punishment but when he saw Liu Xueyi's stern gaze, he sighed out.
"What? Were you planning on killing me? Anyways back to the story. I want to know all that happened."
"Fine. I never slept with Mo Feng Yi. Neither did I know who she was until that day we met and you introduced us."

He stared wide-eyed at his friend for a while before regaining himself.
"Wow, no wonder you did not know her. I thought you were acting to get her off your back," Xu Fang gave a slight nod in understanding, "Interesting."
