Chapter 4: Mana

''You can always summon your status window by calling out in your mind, you can try it,'' Ela added, that she was not explaining something new wh she said this but the studts still did and a transpart status window, a mix of black and gold appeared right before everyone's eyes.

As expected of the studts of the Elite classroom, they possessed exceptional stats.

Noah observed his status window and sighed.

'Not bad but I could have done better but there's no need to cry over a spilled milk. I must focus on the advancemt class. Everything will start once I get a class.' He siltly thought, his goal is to stand at the top, to be the strongest, it's childish but no one can't take it away from him, only by becoming the strongest would he get the answers he wanted.

Suddly remembering he was still in class, Noah threw those thoughts to the back of his head and looked ahead.

Ela happed to be talking at the momt.

''I know you all have be eager to acquire a class and I understand this feeling, you are only considered a Player wh you get a class.''

Everyone nodded at Ela's words.

''You are really lucky, no luck didn't have anything to do with you being in this classroom, it's all thanks to your efforts. Tomorrow you'll have the chance to advance in one of our special facilities.''

''Wow!"

''I can't wait.''

''Me too.''

The studts could not contain their joy upon learning this news, they worked hard to get into this classroom to joy the few perks this Elite classroom has to offer. They'll get a head start before the others, wh it would take one or two weeks for the others to get a class after rolling in the academy, it only takes them a few days.

Some may say it's unfair to others but this is reality. Life has be and will always be unfair. It is what makes life worth living because those who didn't want to suffer this unfairness will try harder to be in a better position.

''Silce! I know you're happy but quiet down a bit will you?" Ela admonished her studts and facing her macing glare, they quickly closed their mouths.

''Well, I understand your thusiasm. You deserve it, I hope you will all acquire awesome classes, a lot of Elite classes, and maybe a few Unique classes.'' Ela smiled as she couraged her studts, said studts' eyes were shining and they vowed not to disappoint their teacher.

Ela nodded upon ssing the right mood, she could feel her studt's fighting spirit and desire to accomplish greater things. Her tactic seems to have worked.

She suddly recalled a quote from her mtor.

'What the relaxed studt who feels safe will learn with ease, the tse or frighted studt will struggle with. A teacher thus must always realize that the right emotional vironmt is key to the art of teaching.'

'Indeed, you're right teacher. I'll lead these childr to greater heights, I'm blessed this year to have so many outstanding studts from prestigious backgs.'

Ela's eyes quickly scanned the classroom, stopping a few seconds on a certain number of studts. A gold-eyed handsome boy, a blue-eyed one, a black-haired one with red eyes, an ice beauty with amber eyes.

'I'm truly blessed.' Ela murmured before looking at her studts again before continuing with the lecture.

''Let's talk about mana, who can explain to me what mana is?''

She asked while looking at her studts, her eyes suddly stopped on Noah, she recalled him, the first to get a perfect score, that man's son.

''Noah, why don't you tell us what mana is, huh?"

Noah stood up despite not wanting to, he still had to answer the question.

''Mana is a magic source, it is like the air we breathe and it's esstial for players because many skills work relying on mana.''

Noah sank back into his seat after giving this simple answer.

''Not bad. Like Noah said mana is like air, it was thanks to the mana's storm, players were born and we develop to this day. All living beings possess mana within them, but despite this, not everybody is able to control these powers as not everyone can become a player.''

''Most of you because you hav't gott a class believe Mana has no real use, it's a fake belief, Mana is everything, and your skills work thanks to Mana. While Mana's usage varies, depding on your Class, all players must possess this. Let me explain it to you for you to understand.''

Ela paused and observed her studt's face and after seeing how conctrated they were, she smiled and continued her lecture on Mana.

''A Swordsman, I mean someone with the common Class of Swordsman will say what use Mana have for me to waste my precious skill points on because I'm not a Magic Swordsman? This is a twisted belief because the Aura both Swordsman or Spearman use are Mana converted in a form to fit that player.''

Most of the studts wided their eyes, and only a few wer't surprised. Noah knew this thanks to his father's teaching, and the same thing for Arthur and the others.

''Knight's Blessing and other things work because of Mana. Every Class relies somehow on Mana, some Class more heavily than the other, for example, the Mage class.''

''Well, what I'm trying to say here is simple, do not neglect this specific stat. Ev if your stats will increase randomly by or points every level up, you should sometimes use the Skill Points earned to increase the Mana's stat because this might come in handy on your road.''

Ela's studts nodded, taking their teacher's advice to the heart.

''Good, let's move onto the next subject, it's another warning.'' Ela immediately began her next lecture.
